I stayed in a single room, it was quite good and clean. Good WiFi - had no troubles in video calls with colleagues. Location is great - less than 10 mins to the main station and near a large super market with everything you need. Friendly staff and good breakfasts. A separate perk is a coffee maker in the room - in fact, I chose the hotel based on that. It's important for me to have the ability to make tea and coffee in the evening without leaving the room.

The electrical socket in which the desk is plugged was not working, so had to use less convenient sockets for laptop and coffee machine. I stayed in a single room and it's really small. This wasn't a big problem, but I had to put the extra pillow on the table during the night. Overall, those are minor issues.

This hotel is so close to the train station and centre of town that you walk it in 10mins at a slow pace. The reception area is bright and large as it doubles as the bar area too. Plenty of room in our room and the towels were lovely and soft. Bed was a little hard, but better than being too soft. Lots of nice choices at breakfast time and staff were very friendly. Idea parking for the car too. Would use this hotel if coming to Cologne again.

Lovely hotel in a great location, approx 8 mins easy walk from the Cathedral and central station. Our room was a good size, had a modern bathroom with shower cubicle, comfortable and clean with good facilities including toiletries, hairdryer, mini bar & nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast was really good with something for everyone from continental style to cooked products, also liked the times for breakfast (6.30am-12 weekdays 7.30am-12 weekends) you didn't feel rushed. At the end of the day exploring Cologne we had a drink at the hotel bar which was cosy and drinks were a good price.

The matress was a bit hard and the beds in a double room were not locked together.

I try to reserve ten scores for the exceptional (a honeymoon destination or somewhere that someone with mobility issues would be happy to stay in and just watch the world go by). This hotel was very good but failed on both counts to meet my criteria for 10. Fairly standard modern purpose built inner city hotel and room. We asked for a quiet room and were allocated a room which overlooked an inner courtyard; not very scenic but bright. Very good self-serve breakfast selection in a spacious room with plenty of free tables. Staff very friendly. We arrived by train with a fairly level 15 minute walk from the station.

I always stay in this hotel when I am in Cologne, which is quiet often. The hotel is clean, modern, nice rooms and good beds. Very central to the city and only 5 minutes by car the Exhibition Center of the Kölner Messe. They have their own parkhouse, which I like. Breakfast is rich and lot to choose from.

Even after all those years, still no restaurant. They could easily turn the breakfast room into a small restaurant but they choose not to. Too bad. I rather eat dinner in the hotel then to have to go out again to look for a restaurant, although I know my way in Cologne and restaurant are only a five minute walk away.

We enjoyed the stay and appreciate a Service. Personnel is very friendly and build exceptionally nice atmosphere for all the Guests. Hotel is clean and breakfast was really tasty with super long availability.

We didn't enjoy room itself. The set of equipment makes usage quite difficult and double bed consists two separate which unfortunately sometimes separate from each other :( Additionally there is no nice facilities like complementary water or tea in the room, which I would assume as a standard for such hotel.

Room very good size, breakfast lots of choice. Location excellent very easy to get to the Xmas markets and restaurants.

Unfortunately the bed was rather hard and the pillows too soft. Only when looking on bedside table , hidden under note pad did we find that we could have ordered a mattress topper and different pillows. Maybe this information should be displayed on bed when you arrive at hotel.

The property was ideally located, clean and tidy and breakfast was lovely.

The heating in our room wasn’t working for the first two days/nights and was freezing cold so couldn’t have a shower as I suffer with arthritis and fibromyalgia and was to cold. The staff were helpful and did try and sort it but to no avail. On the last day they did finally sort it out the problem eventually !! The toilet brush was dirty and a few hairs in the shower when we could eventually have one.

good location with gentle walk to the cathedral and main town as well as train station. very warm and welcoming staff who go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Comfortable bed with really good pillows and a pillow menu. Good quality toiletries; large bathroom and good temperature and flow of shower; Nesspresso coffee maker. We were on 5th floor and very quiet. Breakfast was included in our price and was a very wide selection of fresh fruit, meats, cheeses and fish as well as varied cooked breakfast and cereals. Breakfast available for several hours so was not rushed. Later check out than most hotels.
