Location was superb while being in the centre of action, it also infuses the cosmopolitan air with local flavours. There are convenient stores where one could get almost anything. The hotel is in the heart of city but never noisy.

I like to interact with the front office staff when i stay in hotels as i used to work in one. However, this time the staff are always attending to guests and the hotel is always busy with corporate events, Another thing I wish they raise the level of shower floor as the water spread easily to the dry floor.

The hotel was very central and very close to the central station. Decor is really fresh and they provide you with free-flowing water and coffee. The staff was always there to help and very friendly. Everyone spoke English in the hotel.

Room was a little too small for two people. There is no room service too we had to use the same towel for 4 days and our bins were never emptied.

The location is great - near the station and cathedral and in a place with lots of places to eat and drink. We loved the room - perfectly air conditioned and sound proofed with a great shower. Everything worked smoothly - and it was great to be able to watch Netflix after a rainy day and eve in Cologne. We also loved the roof terrace.

Check in was a bit tedious - they guy got exasperated with me when I was filling out the wrong thing on the I pad but the instructions weren't clear and I had been travelling for hours.

Excellent hotel which really made our trip to Cologne that much better! I find that the little things go a long way with hotels, in this case: - Easy Netflix access on the TV. - Early check in + late check out - Free coffee/hot choc is given in the mornings which made grabbing one to go on our way out a really nice treat. - Really friendly employees - Double windows eliminated any sort of noise The hotel has a really cosy and youthful vibe to it, rooms have a really nice design, equipped with large TV’s, compared to hotel standards. The little puns all around the room felt like a really friendly touch too :) Lastly, location is really central. 10/10 Recommend, Keep up the good work!

The location of this hotel was great for us. Just 5 mins walk from the cathedral into the centre of the town and easy access from the main train station. At the back if the cathedral straight down the steps to the Rhine also provides a route into the old town.

We were lucky to get a room overlooking the courtyard away from the train track which runs directly at the back of the hotel. Room 243. I can imagine some of the rooms being noisy.

The location is perfect and we felt safe. The water and coffee machine was very useful! The rooms were super clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was really helpful as we visited in August when it hit 30 degrees. The trains passed by very closely, but we did notice it at all in the rooms.

Nothing to complain. We were a family with two teenagers and had two rooms. Really enjoyed the stay.

The location was great, five to ten minutes from the main train station and plenty of food options nearby. The beds were comfortable and there were many free amenities in the lobby area (different coffees, orange juice and tea). Rooms were quiet. The staff did let us have a late check-out free of charge, which we really appreciated.

There was a huge, rather disgusting looking stain under the desk that just put us off immensely. The shower doors stop halfway (it doesn't cover the entire wall, it just ends in the middle), so lots of water sloshed out everywhere onto the floor and the bathroom was a danger zone to step in. Also, we couldn't get the heating to work.

Went with my husband and some friends in december to enjoy the xmas markets. We stayed 4 days in the hotel, and the location was great. There are a lot of restaurants and things to do nearby. The rooms are very small, but the bethrooms are good size. Some staff were very nice and friendly, others not at all, but overall, a great stay and I would stay there again.

I loved pretty much everything about Urban Loft! The location is great, with views of the Cathedral in the area, and the street outside is very lively and bustling without feeling like a "tourist" area. It's so close to the train station which made it a perfect place to arrive at and made it so easy to get around Cologne, and it's a very central location which makes it easy to walk or S-Bahn ride to places you'll want to go. I also spent a day in Amsterdam (taking the ICE up early in the morning and then taking a night train in the evening), and the location made it so easy to get up for the early train and then go straight to sleep when I got back.

I only have two minor complaints: First, the music in the lobby is a bit too loud and intrusive. Music that's either a bit quieter or a bit more "background" music would be much nicer. Second, the lack of free breakfast being included in the stay is unfortunate. Even if there was a small free breakfast and then a nicer "additional expense" breakfast, that would have been better. Otherwise, excellent experience!

Good stay, helpful & friendly staff, very good facilities available. Bed was comfortable & location was good.

Hotel didn't respond to my special request before my stay so I had to chase them up. I was also bombarded with emails before & after my stay & they wanted me to download an app to check in & out online (as far as I understood) and the emails were in German even though I booked through booking.com's UK site. In fact, when I arrived check-in & out in-person were hassle-free & well handled by staff. So what was the point in all those emails? A small issue, but worth knowing that the kitchen is closed for anything other than breakfast.
