Great staff and good location. Room was good too..allowed me to keep bag after checkout and staff were very friendly and cooperative.

There is no front desk after 3 pm at least when i was there. Thankfully didn't need anything essential but good for fellow travelers to take note.

Very spacious room. Near to the station but on the quiet side. Good soundproofing. I asked for extra towels and kettle to be provided, they were put in my room.

-Front desk only work until 3pm. After that, you are left on your own, no retrieval of stored luggage after 3, no hotel staff after that . Anything extra you need has to been arranged beforehand in case you check in after 3. You can use your mobile to open the main door, make sure your phone is working. -No coffee and tea in the room

good breakfast - comfy bed - air con worked well - shower excellent - area is pretty central but still relatively quiet and the double glazing was particularly effective at cutting out any random street noise

the closing mechanism of the entrance door is poor and so slams rather than closes. This was unfortunate for me as my bedroom (room 12) was located above the entrance hall. Having said that, for the 3 nights i stayed only a few of the residents came back late so my sleep was not too badly affected. If i stayed again however i would insist on another room.

A very convenient hotel, close to the Hbf but on the other side away from the downtown. Short walk to Hbf, Dom etc. Superb breakfast. I had a great room, maybe I got upgraded as it was the largest I stayed in in Europe this trip by a long way. Comfortable bed, staff were pleasant and helpful.

Opening the door with my phone took a little while - not sure why but it took ages to load. So better if you arrive before 3pm while there is someone around if you don't like this technology! Very clever, maybe too much!!! I couldn't find the email with a door access code which I think was also provided. This was because I received 15-20 emails for a one night stay, in a mixture if German and English; that was a little nuts (and didn't help me find the door code at all)

Helpful, friendly staff. Practical location, especially if you are arriving/departing via train at the Hauptbahnhof. Breakfast was excellent, and includes an espresso drink, in a nice first floor café-like dining room. Quirky, well-appointed rooms in an older building. Very cozy!

Not much really- but it’s worth noting that the reception has limited hours. This is a great place for the more experienced, independent traveler.

It is soo close to the train station and all the attractions, also the amenities are pretty modern so the locks are automatic and even if you forget the cards you can open the doors through the app which is neat. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast has a nice selection. The room is very spacious and the beds are great, honestly an awesome place

Its an altbau so it does get a little bit cold if you turn the heater off for a bit, which you probably should since you are probably going to be going out a lot. So definitely pack some good slippers to be prepared.

The room was perfect, very clean comfortable, with fresh towel and little Deodorante. The shower was really good and the view from the window into the little park inside was cute. The breakfast as amazing, the staff very kind. The late check in online so easy and smooth. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I will recommend to friends and Familie. I would come here again to stay for a night.

The lighting in the room could be a bit more comfortable, for the bed. The rest was great.

Went to Cologne for the Orgatec design fair. The location is very convenient - near Central Station, Cologne Fair & all major attractions like the Cologne Cathedral. What I liked about this hotel was it feels like you're staying at a friend's home or your own rental apartment. You can check-in by yourself even late hours using their own self-check-in app but is very secure. Buffet Breakfast is also included. The room is clean and has basic amenities that is not bad for a budget stay. Staff are also very friendly and approachable.

I've been to many budget hotels, so in comparison, this hotel is very basic. No Room Service. You need to go down the reception for your requests which by the way, is only until 3pm. Pillows could have been better because it was so flat. There's a mini fridge but No coffee-making/hot kettle in the room. Also, my room was located at the 1st floor just above the breakfast area/courtyard. So as early as 7am, I would be awaken by the sound of plates, utensils and people chatting.. But overall the good points compensate the bad points for the low price I paid. There's nothing major to complain about & I would still recommend it for those seeking an affordable stay.

Good size, new-looking room and bathroom. Comfortable for a family. Housekeeping was excellent, very thorough daily cleaning and lovely fresh towels. Good variety and quality breakfast (7 to 10am, helps when you need to set out early!) - complete with assortment of breads, ham, cheese, cereal etc. Elevator/lift access was especially useful for elderly parents and luggage. An easy walk from the train station.

Pre-arrival information via the hotel app especially for check-in in the absence of reception staff was useful in helping us enter the hotel/room, but it could be challenging for less tech savvy guests or those who arrived unprepared.

The room was big and clean. The staff was nice and the hotel is charming. It is a mix of ancient and modern style which make it feel like home.

There is pros and cons about this but the access to the front door at night can be tricky. I had a late check in and I was stuck outside as I had a poor internet connection... Accessing to the hotel or room with your phone is nice, as long as you have internet connection! (try to get the wifi password ahead if you arrive late).
