There's a lot to like about Hotel Domblick. The location is walking distance from the Cologne Hbf train station and the Cologne Cathedral, as well as lots of great restaurants, the Rhine River, and basically everything you could want to see. The breakfast was good, but a little expensive for what it was. The room was comfortable and clean with a German-style bed (two twin beds with separate duvets next to each other). It was a bit warm during my visit, so having a window that fully opened and a fan in the room was nice. I booked a parking spot during my stay and the parking was convenient and reasonably priced. The hotel even had a little area to store a bicycle I rented, although it was outdoors.

There's almost nothing I didn't like. Air conditioning would have been nice, but it's not standard in this part of Germany and overall not necessary.

Location was just few minutes walk from the railway station. Breakfast was not included in the price, and was available for extra fee, but was very good. The room was very clean. It was quite small, but that was expected, no problem actually, since we only slept there. Bathroom was also very small, but everything worked fine.

No bidet shower, which seems to be a German standard (unfortunately), but at least the hose from the shower was long enough instead. The beds could have been better, the mattress was making some noise.

Loved the location close to the train station and the cathedral. We arrived from the Netherlands via train, and walked to the hotel. The staff was amazing and friendly. The room and bathroom was comfortable.

Family rooms would be a good idea - we have two small kids and had to take 2 rooms and one parent shared with a child. Coffee-making facilities in the rooms would be welcome, I thought we'd at least be able to boil some water. Beds overall comfortable, but my mattress was a bit soft and maybe needs replacing.

Room was fine - maybe a little small, but comfortable and fine for the one night we were there. Location was great - five minutes walk from the railway station. We decided to take the breakfast option as it was only 15 euros, which we thought was very reasonable, and it was very good with some hot and lots of cold options. All the staff were excellent.

The lift was a bit scary! And be aware that there are steps to and from the lift.

The hotel is perfectly located, a 5 minutes walk from the cathedral and a couple of minutes away from the central station, so it was very easy to reach by train from and to the airport. The room was not too big but it was very clean and comfortable, we did not need any more space for a couple of nights. Denis was very attentive and friendly and gave us an early check in after an early flight , which was very appreciated. I would definitely recommend to stay here when in Cologne.

The hotel was as expected by description. The room was small but has everything necessary. It is not more than 10mins from Cologne Cathedral, so it is literally in the center of the city and also close to the old part of the town. Per our request the parking was reserved for us just across the street. And I cannot say enough how nice was the person who met us. Walked us to the reserved parking, helped with the luggage, answered all our questions in the friendliest manner possible! I marked that the price was higher than I expected but we came to Cologne when it was Easter week and some big Fitness Fair was happening, everything was booked there. Hopefully it may be a bit cheaper at other times. I would recommend it anyway.

The guys that ran this hotel could not have been more hospitable if they had tried, as we saw one in the evening on arrival and the other the following morning. They were so helpful and kind both before whilst contacting them regarding our room and then when we were there. The room adequate for what we paid and the bed was so comfortable with great pillows. The location was really close to the main Cathedral (Dom) a short 5 minute walk through the main station and there it is. They were very knowledgeable regarding places we had wanted to see, which were only 10 minutes to walk and offered advice on nice restaurants for local specialities but did not false them on us. If we come back to Cologne. This is will definitely a first hotel to look at.

The lift wasn't on every floor which meant carrying the case up or down half a flight of 8 stairs at the top and the bottom. However, the guys carried the case for us on the way up and down.

Comfortable (albeit small) beds in a clean hotel located in the heart of Koln. Perfect if you're in the city for a few days and expect to only come back to your hotel for the night. Located right by the Main Koln HBF station (but not on the more touristy bit)

Wifi was a bit slow. the beds were smaller than expected (but still comfortable). The room was warm (thank you summer heatwave) and we couldnt open the window fully (a little fan was in the room and that did help)

Location was great! Near to DomPlatz and TrainStation and a lot of attraction. Friendly and helpfull personnel. Easy check in and check out. Room was clean.

Beds and mattresses were not comfortable. In our room were 2 beds closed one to one instead of one bed for 2 persons, very thin walls, old furniture and bathroom.

The hotel is perfectly located near the train station and the cathedral as well.It's a three-minute stroll to these places.In addition, what we liked the most was not only the clean room and comfortable place to stay with the opportunity to enjoy your breakfast on the premises, but the most hospitable staff.Their hospitality was something we really needed that day.Thank you again.
