Hotel’s location was great. You could have easy access to anywhere you like. The famous dom is 6 minutes away, there is a massive shopping street with almost all brands you like. Also underground is just beside the hotel. Nearby restaurants and supermarkets with ready meals are very good. Food in hotels restaurant was excellent. Rooms in hotel bright and spacious. Pillows and duvets are very cosy and comfortable. We all slept very well. Breakfast was very good with variety of continental and hot food, my kids especially enjoyed chocolate drips. There were plenty choices of variety teabags with lemon, ginger and fresh mint!

We had to wait 2 hours to check in to the hotel! Staff said rooms are not ready yet due to late check outs , however people who arrived later than us were all checked in on time! We were very tired after long journey (woke up at 3am) and my kids ended up sleeping on the reception sofas! The female staff of the hotel are very sweet and helpful which I couldn’t say the same about male staff. I had to ask for one thing few times until it gets done, which was annoying. The fresh water isn’t replaced daily and there are not enough teabags. We are tea drinking family, unfortunately only one tea bag was left when we arrived which then never replaced. I had to get couple of teabags from the restaurant downstairs once.

The location is within walking distance of a shopping district, with a supermarket and public transport within a very short walk of the hotel. If you don't mind a bit of a walk it's definitely possible to reach the Dom and Hauptbahnhof. We stayed for two nights at the start of December and the room was perfect for that length of stay as there was enough space to store our belongings and the bed was big enough for my wife and our infant child. The room was quiet and comfortable, the building was well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were very easy and the staff were professional and courteous on the few times we had to interact with them.

The bed and pillows were a little soft for our tastes but it was otherwise fine.

The location of the hotel is perfect, everything is at walk distance. The room is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and diversified. When we arrived with the car, the parking below the hotel was full so we had to find another parking. We found another one at 3-minutes walk from the hotel which was good and we paid 20€ for 2 days👍

Just one thing that we were a little bit disappointed with is the swimming pool. We thought that we could access it with my son anytime as we were clients of the hotel. Unfortunately, the swimming pool belongs to an external contractor. Children were not allowed and it was 16€ per day if you wanted to access.

The location was excellent, close to the city centre and several Christmas markets. There was a good selection of food for breakfast each day, if you're early. Inside, the hotel was quiet with no noise pollution; similarly the windows and blinds completely shielded out light. The room we paid for was a good size and equipped with comfy beds, a sofa and chairs. The door felt secure with a proper chain inside, so even staff with a key card would struggle to get into the room in a hurry, which more hotels ought to have. The TV allowed screen sharing, so we could watch whatever we wanted from our phones. Housekeeping was completed swiftly whenever we put the green sign on the door.

The hotel ran out of several hot items at breakfast every morning. The room was not cleaned very well – behind the sofa and under the bed there was rubbish from other people's stay. The room was not refreshed with basic items every day: hand soap (the housekeeper forgot – and the guy on reception was a bit rude, telling me to buy some from the supermarket next door), shower gel (the housekeeper didn't notice was empty), coffee pods and water and fruit (you only get on your first day, apparently, which is a tad meanspirited especially at Christmas). The swimming pool is in a building next door and costs €16 per person per day, which is a bit steep.

First of all, the staff was really kind and helpful. Secondly the room I stayed at was lovely, spacious and very clean . The bed was very big and comfortable and the bathroom was simply amazing! The hotel is located in a nice and safe area, close to the city centre and the Köln Hbf (15mins on foot or ~10mins by public transport. The Heumarkt Station is a mere 2 minutes walk, the ride is only 2 stops and then another minute or two on foot until you reach the Central Station). There are also many cafes and places to eat nearby, as well as a Rewe supermarket.

The Dorint Hotel is perfectly located for exploring the city. Only a few minutes walk to the cathedral and shopping streets and river area. The hotel itself is very clean. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is very good, good selection of products. Nice bar on site. Would recommend this hotel. We were upgraded to a superior room on the top floor...just fabulous. Thank you Dorint Hotel staff !

The TV and tablet didn't work in our room.... but the staff were great, they tried to sort it but they couldn't so we were upgraded to a much better room. Couldn't ask for more than that. So a bad experience became a great experience.

Everything, whatever one is looking for, it has all the traits. Facilities, Ambience, Approach, Location, Parking, Breakfast.....we didn't try lunch or dinner as we were there only for one night. Very impressive facilities, view of Cathedral from glass lift was nice. Shopping area, old Town, Cathedral, bars cafes everything next door. I would not look for any other hotel, if we return to Cologne again. Parking though paid separately, is connected to hotel lift, so convenient & safe. It may be bit expensive but it's worth every single penny. Nice breakfast.

Absolutely nothing, we wanted to check in just a bit early but were told that would be 50 euros, that was resolved as we left all our luggage in the car, in safe parking only to return at 5 pm to check in. Otherwise almost nothing.

city center location, close to everything. parking under hotel with convinient elevator, good breakfast, good bed, good shower, silent calm room even it looks on center street, good wifi. very helpful personell.

very expensive parking for one night. For breakfast i would appreciate some porridge and bigger vaiety of bakery and warm bread. in room not enough plugs close to bed to charge your devises. no bottled water, that could be a compliment in a room for almost 200 eu per night

We spent the New Year's here. It's a huge, impressive hotel, with very large rooms that are well insulated from outside and inside noises. However, it's been a long time since it was renovated, time left its marks. Location: city centre, only 8 minutes walk to the Dom and central train station. Not on the street closed to cars access (where all the noise is), but on one right next to it, so it was isolated from noise and crowds. Also close to the river - if you run, we recommend that you pass the bridge and enjoy the quiet trails on the other side.

It got its stars a while back, time left its mark. Time doesn't forgive anyone, not even Dorint. Also, no internet connection security.

The location of the hotel is very good. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable, although the cushions could be more firm. The room also offered a good morning exercise as it's about a 5-minute walk from the room to the elevators and then to the nicely stocked breakfast buffet with a chef to make excellent fried eggs and omelets. The bath was nice, but the drains could be placed more comfortably.

The room could be more up to date, there was no power socket on one side of the bed to charge your mobile. The bed was also quite small and the faucets in the bathroom should be renewed as the temperature was hard to set
