Boutique Hotel Krone München

When we reached the hotel, we got an upgrade to a suite which we liked very much, since it had an open concept and a lovely rooftop terrace. The design of the room was very nice and allowed for much natural light to come in. We had a seating area and two bathrooms, with one of them being equipped with a bath tub. The staff of the hotel were very nice and helpful. The underground station is located nearby, i.e. within walking distance of 5 to 8 minutes. Apart from that, the vicinity of the hotel offers restaurants, cafes and grocery shops. If you stay during the Oktoberfest season, the hotel is located right opposite of the famous Theresienwiese.

The breakfast has definitely room for improvement. The choice was very sparse, e.g. not much variety of rolls and spread, plus the breakfast room was located on the ground floor (B-level) of the building, which meant that not much natural light was coming in.

We had a beautiful room with a balcony and a wonderful view of Munich. The room was very well cleaned, the bathroom beautiful and the bed very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is only one station away from the main train station. It is in a relatively quiet location. There is a road in front of the hotel, but you are not disturbed by passing cars at night. There is a shopping centre and a supermarket just behind the hotel.

There could be a fridge, coffee pot or minibar in the room. However, minibar is in the corridor and you can offer, for example, Coca-Cola, sprite or water. We missed the seating on the balcony.

What a nice experience. Very cool and stylish place but not in an artificial, forced way. Nice helpful and relaxed stuff. Breakfast not groundbreaking but solid and good quality foods. I often come to Munich and stay in many different hotels. This one is easily under the top three. Maybe not suited for families not sure

Nothing except maybe the missing shades on the windows. With street illumination right outside it is never really dark in the room and for that means I am awake at 5am. But absolutely not a deal breaker

The building and the decor are beautiful, and the staff were really lovely and helpful. Our room was bright, comfortable and the bathroom was especially well-appointed. I loved the soaps and lotions etc. Staff helped us with an early check out and booking a taxi to the station.

There was only one set of towels, of which only one was just big enough to use after a shower - so we had to share. In such a beautifully appointed room for two this seemed like an oversight. The curtains were thin white fabric and one wasn't wide enough to cover the whole window. They didn't block out the light at all.

We were greeted by one of the staff's sweet little dog as we walked up the front steps. The hotel is in a beautiful old building in a lovely part of Munich. Right across the street from a nice park with a playground and close to the underground. We loved the bar and were lucky enough to have been there for an evening with live music. The rooms have been uptaded with fun themes, and the bathrooms in our rooms were gleaming. The breakfast buffet is an incredible value and set us off on a great start for our days. We weren't there for Oktoberfest, but if you are this is the best location. It is right across the street from the beer tents.

The weather was cool while we were there, but the rooms don't have a/c, which might be uncomfortable if the weather is very hot.

The location is fantastic, only about 10 minutes walk from Munich central and just far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be quiet and relaxing. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was utterly divine. The breakfast was simple but fresh, exactly what you need before a day of exploring. Will stay here again the next time I’m in Munich (room 46 had the absolute best view with a huge window!)

The single downside was the lack of mini fridge in the room, which isn’t absolutely needed but is always helpful

Great little hotel. Very good breakfast and newly refurbished bathroom is lush. Very clean room. Great location, very quiet. Some of the staff at reception were really helpful (with great restaurants recommendations!).

Broken blind (which was removed and we had to ask to fix which was done quickly), taped curtains we could not close, not a good welcome to our stay, they should have fixed this or let another room until fixed. No apologies received by the staff at reception, which was odd. We paid for the deluxe room but it was the smallest room on the floor (and with minor issues). Some of the staff at reception were hard work.

It's not very far from the main train station, but also not super close (around 15mns walk). It's easy to get there though. The hotel facade is gorgeous, and leaves a good impression upon arriving. Both receptionists we've had the chance to talk to were extremely nice, helpful and friendly. Our room was quite cosy, the bathroom specifically was clearly recently renovated and quite beautiful. The room wasn't huge but big enough to be cosy for two people. Easy check-in and check-out. The hotel is really beautiful, inside and out. We like the stained glass windows and art-deco style.

Nothing at all, we had a great time at this hotel. :)

The room was excellent, very comfortable and nicely designed, a nice change from a standard hotel room. The staff were very friendly and provided advice on the surrounding area when I asked. The location of the hotel is great, a short distance from the central station and with a shopping centre very nearby. The buffet style breakfast provided a good selection.

Situated in a quiet location, very clean room with an especially nice bathroom. Close to the U-bahn station which connects to Hbf and centre of the city in just minutes. Right opposite where Oktoberfest is hosted so very convenient if going there. Friendly staff and we got a room upgrade for free which was pleasantly surprising. Just across the road is a small shopping centre
