Everything was perfect. Close to beach. Town and old town. Just perfect! Thank you!

Nothing!!! I would just suggest to bring earplugs because it can be a bit loud when people come home late and forget others are sleeping! But that is not the hotels fault!

Staying at Candia Hotel was the best decision! The penthouse rooms were super comfortable, cozy and modern, and with amazing views. The location of the hotel is excellent - 300 mtr from the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, and 10 minutes from center and bus station. Coffee, tea and water available 24 hours. And the best (specially for a solo traveler): the host Dimitra!! She's so kind and always willing to help and give the best tips for the trip in Crete; she made me feel like home, resulting in a dreamy stay in Chania. I will definitively come back to Candia Hotel.

Staff were lovely and helpful, location was brilliant for everything, short walk to most places. Beds were one of the comfiest I have ever slept in and I have travelled a lot, it was very welcomed. Room had everything we needed, lovely shower. I really liked the shutters on the windows, again the first place in greece we stayed that allowed pure darkness even during the day

Walls are quite thin and you could hear a family with kids coming in and out at all hours, this isn't the hotels fault in anyway but I would recommend some ear plugs in case.

Perfect location next to the beach and restaurants. Five minutes walking to the buss stop and 15 minutes walking to the old town. We had a family room that was very clean, spacious and had all the necessities. Very child friendly hotel and still rather quiet during midday and night. The personnel are the nicest people, very helpful and speak English in high level. The breakfast is good and they offer freshly made omelettes and bacon. The price is more than fair. We are looking forward to going back.

The location was perfect, very near to everything. 15 minutes on foot to the bus station, 15 minutes to the old town, two minutes to the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was superb !!! You can eat either inside or in a wonderful garden. My room was very comfortable with a small kitchen, fridge and a balcony. It was cleaned every day and your towels are changed as often as you want. You just put the used ones on the floor and they give you clean ones. After the check out, in case your flight is in the evening, you can go to the beach and then take a shower at the hotel. Or you can stay at the reception hall, or in the garden. The staff were wonderful, especially Dimitra and her daughter. When I returned in the evening they didn't forget to ask me about my day, my trips and they really made my stay there special. Thank you so much.

I liked everything.

We used the hotel for a short night before an early morning flight and it more than met our expectations. In fact if you wanted a reasonably priced holiday in a small hotel just outside Chania old town this would be an excellent choice. The hotel is just 100m back from Chania's Nea Chora beach and our room had a sideways sea view from its balcony. Room was large and well equipped, including a kitchenette with hob and fridge. Good air conditioning and comfortable bed. There is a small lift. Lady on reception was extremely friendly and welcoming and booked us a taxi for the small hours – no problems here. Easy walk to old town – 15 minutes max along sea front, round harbour and past outdoor pool. Nea Chora beach is small but clean and sandy and is backed by plenty of bars/restaurants. We ate at a small place down by the little harbour – really excellent food.

Hotel is a bit tatty at the edges and could do with some refurbishment before too long. Shower was too high and difficult to adjust – bags of hot water though. Parking is difficult – none at hotel and you will need to park on street. We found a space about 5 minutes walk away after a bit of cruising.

We were super well received and got all the support we needed during our stay. Super attentive staff make you feel like home. Good location, next to some restaurants and about 15 min walk to the Old Town for more choices. Thanks for everything we would definitely go back!

I loved the personels and breakfast ☺️( Dimitri and her daughter and others) All of them so nice and smiley. They makes best real orange juice and omlette in that area 😃 Breakfast was in enough quality. Garden was so relaxing. İt is not beach front but rather close to beach

İ didnt like bed . But maybe another person can like.The sheets were quite clean but furnitures were not so clean . Especially the armchair in my room was disgusting.

Candia Hotel is situated few steps away from a lovely beach and promenade dotted with tavernas, few hundred meters from Chania Old Town. The Greek staff was friendly and service minded. Candia Hotel is a Norwegian owned hotel and the apartment was in excellent condition and well maintained and had a balcony. Cosy breakfast area and a back yard where to enjoy the breakfast outdoors. Everything that you need is within walking distance.

I was solo travelling and booked a room from Candia hotel. First of all, the location is immaculate since it’s next to the beach and there is only 10 minute walk to the beautiful harbour. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is nothing bad I could say about this hotel! Even though the hotel itself was fantastic, biggest thank you goes to the amazing personnel and customer service I encountered here!
