It's really Lovely hotel! oldtown location is perfect. the hotel has renovated maybe, so all things are new and clean. Service also good. we are visit on anniversary so they prepared wine and flowers. thanks for warm welcome. room was not to big but It's so comportable. even have terrace.If we back to Greece trip then we will visit again.

Great location in the old town on a quiet street with no traffic. The hotel has been beautifully furnished. Great breakfast. I am not a night owl and so did not fully appreciate the rooftop bar but the bar staff were more than happy to make us a drink to take to our own balcony.

We were located on the third floor right underneath the roof top bar and so not great for a good night sleep. On both nights the bar closed after midnight after which the guests made their way past our room and the staff started to clear up by scrapping the furniture across the floor, I imagine so that they could sweep up. On our second night there was a private party with DJ …… we could have sung along to the songs! Can I suggest that the guests are given eye masks and ear plugs to aid their sleep.

We really liked the location and having a terrace with a view towards the sea and the main street. We were very satisfied with the cleaning of the room every day. The roof top with the bar has a magnificent view and vibe. We also liked that there is shadow until 10:00 so one can eat breakfast outside and not under the sun.

We were disturbed by the noice from the roof top bar after 23:30. The breakfast was fine but missing diversity - such as fresh squeezed juices, meat slices, vegetables & fruits.

Amazing location. Very clean and modern, clearly money spent to make it amazing. Beds comfy. Decor and furnishings excellent in room and public areas. Staff, the lady on booking in was professional and approachable and a credit to the hotel. Breakfast lady was also friendly and polite and helpful. Aircon was the only one on Crete we had to make the room warmer. It was very efficient and cooled well. Thank you.

Told there was water in the fridge. At 2am on going to the fridge both bottles of water had been opened and one was half drank. The other a mouthful. Not sealed so we didn’t clearly drink them. This is the only reason we didn’t give 10/10 all throughout.

We stayed at El Greco for three nights and it was the perfect little spot for exploring Chania! It’s perfectly situated in the Old Town and close to everything you will need and want in the city! It’s also close to a parking area where you can be dropped off by a taxi. The bed and cushions were extremely comfortable and we were both feeling very reluctant to leave after three nights there. The breakfast was great and the staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful! Our rooms were cleaned daily and the hotel has been renovated and decorated very tastefully. Thank you!

Ideally we would have preferred one double/queen bed instead of 2 singles but that could have just been availability. Beds were still very comfortable.

Everything in the rooms were great, renewed toiletries every day as were the towels. bed linen changed every 2nd day. Breakfast had so many lovely choices. We already had stayed at the El Greco 21 years ago and it is still a lovely hotel, location is in the Old Town, close to all the tavernas, shops, bus station.

Only a couple little faults is that we were expecting a bigger balcony, and the entrance to the roof terrace was quite difficult as you had to duck down to get onto it, also there was no notice to say that the entrance you could quite easily injure your head not doing it properly. I saw one guest get a nasty bash.

The hotel location is amazing, close to the harbour and old center. Also the street view is very nice, in venetian stile. Our room was cleaned every day and the staff was very polite. The breakfast was pretty diverse and fresh. We enjoyed our stay here and it was a great experience overall.

The room did not have much space for storing clothes and this can be an inconvenient when you stay more than a week. The breakfast was good and fresh, but it was the same every day. It will be great to bring something new in the menu once in a while. All in all, we consider this hotel good value for money and it will be our first option when we'll come to visit Chania next time.

Everything was excellent. The room very new and very clean. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town of Chania. In the room you can find everything you need, such as slippers, toothbrush, shaving kit, etc. The breakfast buffet had everything you need and very delicious local options! I was impressed with the facilities, cleanliness and overall comfort with respect to the cost. Great value for money! I highly recommend it!

The room was clean and everything was brand new. The staff was friendly and helpful. They also prebooked a taxi for us for our departure at the airport since it was early in the morning. Loved the fact that every day we had clean towels and the day of our arrival we found small bottles of water in our fridge waiting for us.

The room was too small for 4 persons and didn't have enough room for our clothes and luggages. Also the ac unit was in a place where when it was on, it was affecting the 2 persons that were sleeping right underneath. The toilet was sometimes smelly but either than that, clean.

El Greco is a warm family owned hotel with a fantastic staff....and offers a stay which includes a lovely breakfast with which to begin one's day. The property was recently renovated in the Spring of 2022. The rooms are well appointed and extremely comfortable. The Old Town is so special with many fantastic streets and shops to explore along with amazing local/regional cuisine available in well appointed restaurants.
