Very nice hotel and staff. The rooms were very clean, good breakfast with fresh local orange juice. The hotel is placed next to the main bus station of Chania.(aprox 20' from the airport) In the last day of our holiday because we had to leave early, they gave us the breakfast to go which was very kind from them.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Firstly, the communication was excellent, my questions were answered immediately, a taxi pick-up was organised and I was greeted in a very friendly manner upon arrival. The hotel's team is nothing short of brilliant. It is a rare thing to be greeted each time you enter or leave the hotel lobby, wake in the morning or go to breakfast. Every person was friendly, from the reception to the cleaning staff to the breakfast staff and they are so genuine about it. The breakfast was sensational, all the normal foods plus some local treats such as spinach and cheese pies, stuffed vegetables and eggs with feta, together with freshly squeezed orange juice. I was even welcomed with wine and sweets on the first day. The room was very comfortable and clean and the location excellent. Very close to the bus station, shops, old town and beach. The staff were obliging and helpful-told me that I needed to have the long-distance bus tickets printed so they did this for me, they also gave my advice on what to see and do during my stay. I had to work a little while I was there and the wifi was great, so was the large desk! I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

These are minor things, definitely not criticisms but just suggestions for improvement-dare I say that they may cause some guests to rate the hotel low, so its worth considering: the air conditioning worked but was challenging to operate as it was either too weak or too strong-maybe some simple printed instructions would help. You may also consider providing a normal blanket for those that prefer them to the thin ones as they are not really warm. You could mention that the balcony provides an internal courtyard view as some people obviously expect sweeping views of the beach and are disappointed when they find that their balcony overlooks local peoples' apartments. Again, not a problem for me at all.

The location is exceptional, 5 min walk from bus station and right in the city centre. You are basically in the middle of the main attractions. - The cleanliness was exceptional, very fast and so effectively planned that we were never bothered by the cleaning service. Never experienced anything like this before. - The staff everywhere is amazing (reception, cleaning, restaurant). They give you the best tips where to go and every time you need something, they are all willing to help you. Amazing team! - The bedrooms are well equipped and very quiet. - Great value for the money!

The only thing that could be improved are the pastries at the breakfast.

Breakfast (the same one during all our stay) not superlative but sufficient. Excellent location. Very gentle staff.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in! It should have 5*. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always smiling, they are so careful to your needs. The cleanliness is top notch and the rooms are beautiful. The breakfast was amazing, fresh orange juice and so many delicious Greek treats. The location is ideal, close to the bus stop and also the port. It was simply the best possible experience for our first time in Chania and for celebrating our anniversary. They even gave us a delicious sweet treat as a gift for our celebration. We're already considering booking again for September!

The hotel is very close to the city center , 3min by walk, a nice new builduing, with very nice and helpful stuff. Very various choice of breakfast + room service. Rooms are very clean, cleaned every day or on request. A beautyfull huge terrase for enjoying the sun. (room 404)

The cleaning ladys could be a little bit less talkative while cleaning the rooms in the morning. I had no choice than wake up with them on my rest days .

All the staff from the people at the reception, the waitresses, the barman and the cleaners were very professional and friendly and handled all our requirements in perfection. All were very friendly and polite and eager to help. Breakfast had a good variety of warm and cold offerings including items from local cuisine. The orange juice was fresh and the scrambled eggs with tomato and feta cheese were fantastic. Location was great within short walking distance to the old port of Chania and the shopping district, but being off the main street was very quiet. Will definitely stay there again.

Location was good. Breakfast buffet was super! Staff in the front desk, especially Samantha was BRILLIANT ❤️. Thanks all the help. Tips and chat with us. And all others in the staff were super too. Love every day there and would come back. Roof terrace room was just the way we wanted. Bath products were so good, we headed to the shop to buy own sets. Cleaner ladies were top. So friendly, always smiling and super polite. And the best part was, they came EARLY! Room was tip top before 14. So that was supergood! Wishing all the best and see you again some day ❤️

We fly to chania 4 friends and stayed in Morum city hotel for 4 night , I want to say it was the best experience I have ever had in a hotel, first of all the rooms and the room service was excellent, they take care of everything we want and even when our friend dress was get dirty they clean it out in a few minutes only!! Second the location! , I admit at first the location doesn’t look as good as you think , but I am promise to you you will realize how good it is when you want to come back from a bar in the center of a city or from a shopping and you will get to the hotel just in a few minutes walking that will seem to you as a few seconds!! Last and most important is the crew of the hotel! , all of them are so helpful and cute , get you everything you need very pleasant and lovely, and do and letting you do much ideas on what to do on your free time in chania , get you taxis to where ever you like when you would ask them to . And I want to say a big big thank you to the Sum , sum is a wonderful worker that help as and was so nice to as during all of our time in the hotel She help and save as from going to places that look good but they not ! And just was the best . the hotel and as just won that she will be there and you can trust her to be there for you to every request you will have Thank you for making our trip tens time better !!
