Elia Palazzo Hotel

All the staff was really helpful and the service impeccable. Evelina is the sweetest person you could meet and she prepared delicious breakfast. The staff at the reception were very gentle, kind and helpful. As soon as we arrived the gentleman at the reception took our luggages upstairs. They even allowed us to check-out an hour later without paying extra. The room was cleaned every day. The location is in a quiet road in the pedestrian zone of Chania and very close to the port, we could see the sea from our room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were amazing very friendly and helpful excellent location, very clean beds changed and towels, we had a room with a balcony so it was nice to sit and watch the tourists come and go. We both said when we come back we will stay here again, forgot to mention the breakfast was superb loads of choice both hot and cold it really set you up for the day.

Just one niggle we thought that one one coffee capsule per person per day was a bit stingy, but don't let this put you off the hotel and lovely staff more than make up for this.

Fabulous quiet location in the heart of beautiful Chania Harbour. Steps away from cafes, taverns, and beautiful shops. Chania City and Ktel bus/ coach depot only around a 10 mins walk away. Rooms were a nice size, which had a very comfortable large bed and pillows. No outside noise was heard in our room. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a great variety to choose from. All staff members were extremely friendly, (Stelio, Ria and Maria) and very helpful assisting us, and giving us helpful advice and tips to make our holiday more enjoyable. Had a wonderful and memorable experience!! Sas Efxaristoume yia thn yperoxi FILOXENIA!! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!! 👌👌

We loved our stay at Elia Palazzo Hotel. The staff were really friendly and well informed. Maria cooked delicious breakfasts and the reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful The location was fantastic, situated on a relatively quiet street in the old town of Chania and very select. Access to the rest of the old town was superb with a fantastic array of restaurants and bars just a stone’s throw away. The room was good and very comfortable.

Occasionally there was noise from other local establishments, but possibility rentals and certainly not bars or restaurants which were calm and super and our room was in general insulated from noise.

Location excellent, central to facilities, restaurant and beach. Choice for breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. Hotel kept very clean.

Palazzo Elia Hotel’s location is excellent as it is situated a stone throw’s away from the old Venetian port of Chania and its Firkas Fortress, from the innumerable restaurants, and from the beautiful Chania Town centre. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean and the breakfast that is included varies every day and is so delicious! Great value for money at its best. However, it’s the super-friendly, phenomenal staff of Palazzo Elia Hotel that makes the difference. Our young daughter adored the staff and they helped make us feel at home from the very first day. They helped with every question we could have possibly had, booked our excursions, arranged transfers, and gave us tips on how to make our stay in Chania unforgettable. We highly recommend Palazzo Elia Hotel for your next trip to Chania Town, Crete. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 1 night as part of a 2 week holiday in Western Crete and we wanted to see Chania at night rather than just on a day trip. The hotel is in an old Venetian building in a lovely street in the old town with a balcony with a view of the sea and ideal for people watching. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom and plenty of storage space if we’d needed it for a longer stay. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast choice was good. We were able to check in early as our room was ready and also to leave our bags after checking out the next day.

Nothing at all

Chania is beautiful, vibrant and friendly. Hotel was almost perfect with staff going above and beyond their duty to make our stay so enjoyable. We had a room overlooking the street and also a view of the sea which was perfect as although busy in the day it was very peaceful at night.

My fault I didn't check there was a lift but we got by and was put into first room on first floor. No chest of drawers in rooms. For one or 2 nights stay it's OK but the space in the wardrobe was not really adequate for a week. But the staff did find side tables for us with a drawer which helped..

Absolutely one of the best hotels ive ever been to. Very boutique, feels like family business. Ive arrived at 10 and was planing to leave my baggage until check-in, but my room was already prepared! Room-Beautiful, huge bed, clean, new towels every day, coffee machine with capsules, battle of water. Breakfast- absolutely amazing. Really really good. Staff- probably my best experience with hotel staff. So helpful and friendly and caring. I was traveling solo and got so much help and care. Location- absolutely superb, inside the old-town but really quiet. Close to all the restaurants and harbor. couple of minutes walk from the bus station fro airport and to Heraklion.

We stayed for one night in Elia Palazzo and everything was great. The hotel is located in a beautifully renovated old building with a great architecture, tall rooms and a small balcony. The bed was very comfortable, the room very clean, the breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choices even for my 3 years old son. I would definetly recommend this place to anyone.

Only one small thing I didn't like: the noise that you can hear from the street into the room at evening time, but I believe that it's not the hotel's fault as they can't control it and it is somehow expectable when you book something in the middle of the old town.
