The concierge, Georgia, was excellent. She strives to make the guest her #1 priority. She made wonderful suggestions for off-the-beaten restaurants and regional places so guests see and do more to experience Creta culture. SHE made our stay in Chania wonderful! The hotel is very relaxing and care has been given to ensure the guest feels relaxed - the decor and soft background music are terrific. Oh, and the extraordinary breakfast - WOW!!!!

Georgia and Marianna were very friendly and brilliant with suggestions on things to do and made our stay memorable. The vegetarian breakfasts were amazing with different local cretan foods on offer each morning and way too much food than we could manage; but very welcome as we didn't need anything else until dinner time!! Hotel is really beautiful with excellent rooms and facilities with an amazing shower. Great location with old town and harbour within a few minutes walk. Parking on site was a bonus. A big thank you to all the staff for makingit amemorable stay for us.

extremely clean, beautiful large room, Hugh bathroom and lovely outside patio. location was perfect in the center of everything. breakfast is excellent no one could ask for more. the staff goes above and beyond in every way. Regina and her co worker are exceptional. they want to make your stay like your family. you never want for anything. the owner comes by daily and is equally as delightful as all the staff. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly than the 10 is deserves

The hotel was very clean and hygienic. The staff was friendly, especially Marania who was always helpful and gave us lots of advice and suggestions. The room was super clean, spacious and comfortable with daily cleaning service. The breakfast was good, nothing too special but it was okay with minimal changes every morning. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and everything was amazing.

The parking was very small and at the entrance of the parking the pavement is a bit high so every time the car would scratch from the bottom and this wasn't okay.

The hotel is close to the city centre and has a small private free parking. The property is new and offers high standard comforts. Our room was very clean and spacious. The staff is great and very helpful, Georgia in particular goes above and beyond to make sure guests can fully enjoy their stay. Excellent and varied breakfast, freshly prepared every day with local ingredients and recipes.

This hotel is wonderful. Very comfortable beds and very quiet and clean. The bathrooms are large with clean, luxury showers. There’s a feeling of calm, serenity and relaxation. Breakfast is incredible. You are individually served starting with coffee, fresh orange juice, milk. One day we had omelets, another day eggs, with sausages. Also included breads, jams, croissants, yogurts, fruit, pastries and cereal, milk, juice for our 3 yr old. I’ve never stayed at a hotel with such a variety of food for breakfast. Even a big buffet breakfast doesn’t have everything offered here. Best breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel! The staff is extremely friendly, considerate and helpful with any questions or tips you need. A special shout-out to Georgia…at one point I lost my cell phone in a taxi in a different town and Georgia got on the phone, knew who to contact and was able to locate my phone! We rented a car to travel the whole island but you don’t need one if you just stay in Chania. Location is close to walk to beaches and the old town. We had a great trip and this hotel was icing on the cake!

The Balance Hotel is an exceptional place. It is a very new and modern hotel with a minimalist, chic and eclectic furniture. The room and the bathroom were very big, clean and extremely comfortable. Everyday we had a great breakfast with fresh and high quality ingredients and many local delicacies. The hotel manager is a extremely competent lady who gave us a lot of useful tips and addresses (exceptional restaurants, museums, beaches, nice villages, you name it!) that allowed us to enjoy and discover Chania and its surroundings beyond our expectations. Our stay was just perfect. I can only have praise for this marvellous hotel and the extreme professional people working here.

The hotel is very central, 10 min walk to old town and 10min walk to reach the beach. The room was amazing (we stay in harmony) and very clean (they clean in every day) The girls at the reception are great, very professional and friendly. They also suggested some activity to do during our staying and it was also possible to borrow an umbrella and towels for the beach. We had a great time in Chania and we will for sure recommend the hotel.

Just returned from spending two weeks at The Balance.Hotel in a good location, short walk to beach, harbour and old town.Hotel is very modern and clean with a nice balcony, not much of a view but it didn’t seem to matter.Small fridge, kettle and coffee maker in room.Only had breakfast once which was lovely, but we are not breakfast people, tend to eat more near lunchtime.Nice touches to room, fruit provide one day, lovely cakes for my husbands birthday and dish of sweets All the staff are friendly and helpful.Nothing is too much trouble for Georgia ,who we saw most days she is a credit to the hotel.We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chania

Location was great - the old town was only a ten minute walk away. The parking was a bonus as we had hired a car - although be warned if the car park fills up it is hard to manoeuvre out sometimes. The room was spotlessly clean and large. The balcony was nice to have - no great view or anything but nice to have a beer on before going out. Some nice touches in the room like robes, a proper coffee machine (you get a couple of pods for free and then you can pay for more but they were only 50c each), and a tablet with some stuff about Chania pre-loaded. The staff were very helpful - on our first night they kindly helped us with a dinner reservation and a taxi to this restaurant which was out of town. Great stay - would definitely recommend!

Nothing really... there are probably prettier locations in Chania for sure but for proximity to the old town whilst also having parking we couldn't ask for more really.
