Clean hostel, hostel on first floor and there is a working lift . dorms comfy and with bedside light and charging point and privacy curtains. Lockers in room bring your own padlock . Bed Linen provided. Bring your own towels. Washroom and shower clean. Kitchen facilities good got your usual cooker, microwave, fridge etc etc This serves as common room and room outside kitchen a common room not comfy chairs ! In kitchen it's bar type chairs . Hostel in great location 3 to 4 minutes walk to St Stephens basilica and about 10 / 15 minutes walk to Jewish quarter and ruin bars . Takes only approx 15 minutes walk to chain bridge . Walking is great or take public transport it's cheap 450 forint single journey or buy day travel pass approx £ 5 , buy from machine , buy a ticket as regular inspection on metro especially!!! By the ticket control personnel ! If no ticket you get a fine so be warned ! And stamp ticket into the machine as you enter bus etc . saw quite a few inspection staff !! To do river boat cruise it's cheaper if you walk down to chain bridge and walk towards Starbucks coffee / intercontinental hotel and buy from official ticket booth office save money ! There's a lot of big B staff trying to sell you river boat cruise it's around 13 to 14 euros but at official office it's cheaper , well worth doing 1 hour cruise .. Souvenir shopping go to the big central hall market near the green bridge top floor lots of stalls ! And some great traditional food to try . Airport bus 100 E around 8 minutes walk from hostel only take card ! 6 euros takes 40 minutes to get to airport .
Hostel difficult to find they do not have a sign outside but easier way to find it is that it's next to Andrassy Thai hotel and Thai restaurant on Andrassy Avenue , find the door and it's behind that ! As you turn coming from the St Stephens basilica into Andrassy Avenue it's a few buildings down look out for Thai restaurant and hotel . Staff are ok but I found some not so friendly a little bit aloof and they don't like to repeat information twice ! Easiest thing would be for Them to have a notice board with map and with main sights to see and were ruin bars are and how to get there from hostel eg metro, bus, tram etc etc .

The hostel was amazing. I like the fact that it’s in the city center.
The staff member on night duty on August 18th was extremely rude and unprofessional. He referred to me as "dude," which I found highly inappropriate. I can’t help but wonder if it was because I’m Black. When I asked for help understanding how to use the code to enter, he rudely responded, "It’s your fault, not ours," all while playing a game on his laptop. This behavior significantly tarnished what had otherwise been a good experience. I couldn't shake the feeling that there was an undertone of racism. This ruined my night and my whole stay in Budapest.

I like the private space that each bed has in the shared room. It feels really good that you have a chance to meet new people and make friends. Our room was quite international. The location is perfect. It's in a nice neighborhood. You can take a walk to a lot of places that you want to go to, like the river, Opera House, and Jewish Quarter. There is also a metro station 100m away from the hostel. There are also many good restaurants around.
The main problem was that I was in the loft bed, it was too hot there and the air conditioner didn't work. I didn't like the check-in time. It was written that I could check in at 15:00. I arrived half an hour earlier, and they didn't accept me (which is ok, but) I went out and came back an hour later at 15:30, and the bed wasn't ready yet so I had to wait more. My bed was making noise with every single movement. ** If you are a light sleeper, a shared room is not suitable for you because there is a chance that your sleep time is different from your roommates, and you might not be able to rest well because of that.

Warm, comfortable, good location. I like the privacy curtains. Could have booked cheaper but I prefer the curtains. Doesn’t matter about the mixed room cause you never see anyone. BYO lock for bag storage in the room. You need to pay to store your bag after check out
Difficult to find. I must have walked up and down the street 5x but the sign was inside so I never saw it. Took a guess eventually and I found it. Put a sign where it’s visible out the front pls. Bins in kitchen almost always full or overflowing. Not many utensils or coffee cups

The location is great, the balcony and the view is amazing! The staffs were kind and helpful.
It was extremely HARD to find and get in, signs on the main entrance are tiny, they need bigger signs and information on the two doors, the hostel is located in the first floor, you have to go through 3 door before you find the front desk, but it is quiet and comfy.

Rooms were very clean. You had a personal locker, which was quite big, so you could fit all your belongings. There is 24/7 service, so I was able to check out in the middle of the night to catch my flight.

-perfect location -shops and restaurants nearby -walking distance to metro stations as well as bus stops -you can even walk to your favorite place to see -room was quiet -the terrace overlooking the city streets -staff were helpful especially thanks to david
-prior the arrival date, they could've tell us more about the process on how to get inside the building and the exact floor to go, as they have a classic elevator where 2 persons only can enter with luggage. signage outside was not really clear.

The bed was very comfortable, the view just as the location was amazing, a subway nearby, and it's very central. John was very helpful and my made stay much better! The street is one of the main streets in the city so it was very loud, but it didn't bother me.
You have to pay for a padlock if you dont have your own. The room floor was not that clean. I had a problem with the shower on the first day. It had no shower. Then, on the next day, John helped me, and puted a new one and gave me a body soap which the other employees would always say they don't have it. Besides John and the guy on the checkout day, the employees were not that friendly and did not want to help much.

Great location right in the center with everything within walking distance. The building is like a museum both from the outside and from the inside as soon as you enter with Art Nouveau architecture. All the areas are clean, the staff extremely kind. absolutely value for money!!!
The bed they gave me was quite high and I had to climb an iron ladder about 5 meters to reach my bed. The bathrooms could have been more compared to the people. Even though I was using my own internet on my mobile phone, I couldn't find the hostel's WiFi and connect, but I personally didn't mind at all. I have nothing else to write, everything was excellent

Location is great, right next to St Stephen's basilica, short walk to the Danube and surrounding attractions. Walkable to Bran castle and parliament but also easy access to public transport. The bed was comfy, had a power socket, light and a curtain. The room wasn't overcrowded, and has a shower in it which is convenient. Common area has a balcony for looking over the intersection and the basilica.
You have to ask for the A/C to be turned on, it would be better if it stayed on or if guests can control it. The common areas were lacking in terms of places to relax, no couches etc. Also there was no A/C so it was so hot while cooking and eating. Also a note - almost everytime I arrived back to the hostel, there was someone trying to get in. Maybe is there an easier way for new guests to access the hostel? It also isn't very obvious where the actual location is. Also the toilet paper was always running out in the toilets.
