Spontaneous stay with very quick answer and clear instructions how to get into the appartments.

Parking instructions unclear. Signs right in front of the building say you get towed after 30 Minutes of parking, tho the informations on booking state there are free parking options.

We absolutely loved the stay. The apartment was clean, pretty quiet, there was everything we needed - microwave, coffee machine, kettle... The only thing we could've used that wasn't available was tea, but that's not much of a downside. Also, an iron was mentioned in the description, but we couldn't locate it (maybe it was there, but we just didn't manage to find it). We didn't need it though, so no problem. Also, there is an amazing bakery right across the apartment building, with great pastry (vegan options available), that was a big plus. We never really eat at bakeries, but we had to go there several days in a row - the pastry keeps you full for hours. I cannot find the exact look of our apartment in the photos provided, but it actually looked better than the one I thought we'd get.

Tea could've been provided, but it can easily be bought at a supermarket, so it's not much of a downside.

It's a very good value solution if you want a place to stay in Reykjavík, but you need nothing fancy, and you have a low budget. It's not in the city center, but it's quite close, it's not a big deal to walk anywhere from here. The free parking is also a good thing. The apartment was nice and clean, very simple, it just had all the essential things that you might need. I wouldn't live there for sure, but we only stayed there to sleep as we were out every day discovering the beautiful nature of Iceland. And for this simple purpose it was just perfect!

The location of the hotel was superb. Only 5min. Drive from the Reykjavík city center plus we always had available parking spots outside (free). The self check in process was really smooth and the room was spacious and clean. They also have a laundry room you can use for free, plus new towels every other day upon request!

Maybe the bathrooms need a renovation, as there is minor damage in the shower area which can be mistaken as non-clean. But this is a personal opinion, the overall facilities were fine.

The location is great - right next to Laugavegur, the popular main street, although it's about 15-20 minutes walking distance to the busy part of the street with popular cafes and restaurants. You enter the building and apartment using the code, and this is conveniently and clearly communicated by the host before arrival. The rooms are spacious and kept clean, although sometimes easily get quite warm and stuffy during spring/summer time. Well equipped with basic kitchen utilities and nice big dinning table. Plenty of parking is also available in front free of charge.

The beds could be a bit comfier, a bit soft for my liking as a big guy but nothing that is overwhelming or deterring.

Conveniently located less than half an hour walk into Reykjavík. Great facilities including fridge, hob and microwave meaning we could prepare our own meals saving money on eating out. Laundry room available although we didn’t use it. Hot showers and generously heated meaning it was always a lovely place to come back to after being outside in the cold. Stay apartments/bolholt 6 is on most of the major tour providers pick up/drop off list so we could take tours right from the building. Parking available if you hired a car. Hair&body wash and conditioner provided with hairdryer.

Nothing, it was a great place.

Easy check in & no key to carry around, as there's an access code on the door. The apartment was very clean and warm. Beds comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Lovely toileteries in bathroom. 20-40 minute walk to all the main sights. Lots of restaurants & shops nearby. Easy parking to side of the building, plenty of spaces. Would stay here again.

No shower curtain made it hard not to soak the bathroom floor. The bathroom fan was constantly on, so a little noisy. Construction work opposite. Didn't start early, so noise not a big issue for us. Little privacy in day if curtains open though.
