The location is great - right next to Laugavegur, the popular main street, although it's about 15-20 minutes walking distance to the busy part of the street with popular cafes and restaurants. You enter the building and apartment using the code, and this is conveniently and clearly communicated by the host before arrival. The rooms are spacious and kept clean, although sometimes easily get quite warm and stuffy during spring/summer time. Well equipped with basic kitchen utilities and nice big dinning table. Plenty of parking is also available in front free of charge.

The beds could be a bit comfier, a bit soft for my liking as a big guy but nothing that is overwhelming or deterring.

Very spacious, lovely layout too. It had all the amenities we needed, heating was needed and it was perfect and easy to control the temperature. Perfect location, only a short walk to town centre, but when you step out of the building you get a beautiful view of the mountains! Also good location for day tours, we were always last to be collected and first to be dropped so we never spent a long time travelling on the coaches just picking up and dropping others off :)

Wasn’t sure how to swap out our bathroom towels initially but we worked it out, we needed one for the bathroom floor which we eventually got. That was the only thing, everything else was perfect.

Conveniently located less than half an hour walk into Reykjavík. Great facilities including fridge, hob and microwave meaning we could prepare our own meals saving money on eating out. Laundry room available although we didn’t use it. Hot showers and generously heated meaning it was always a lovely place to come back to after being outside in the cold. Stay apartments/bolholt 6 is on most of the major tour providers pick up/drop off list so we could take tours right from the building. Parking available if you hired a car. Hair&body wash and conditioner provided with hairdryer.

Easy check in & no key to carry around, as there's an access code on the door. The apartment was very clean and warm. Beds comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Lovely toileteries in bathroom. 20-40 minute walk to all the main sights. Lots of restaurants & shops nearby. Easy parking to side of the building, plenty of spaces. Would stay here again.

No shower curtain made it hard not to soak the bathroom floor. The bathroom fan was constantly on, so a little noisy. Construction work opposite. Didn't start early, so noise not a big issue for us. Little privacy in day if curtains open though.

Easy contactless access to the apartment with a door code provided upfront. The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortably furnished. The kitchen had all the required equipment for a comfortable stay including a microwave oven and coffee machine. Outside the building, there is spacious parking if needed. There is a possibility to store your luggage before or after check-in/out hours. It is easy to access the apartments by car because it is close to the main road. Several supermarkets are close to the apartments.

The apartments are a little outside of the city center, so it takes a longer walk to get there. You cannot fully open any windows in the apartment, so it was quite hot inside.

Clean, tidy, spacious and modern furnished apartment, soundproof so that you can sleep in peace. Its fully equipped with all the facilities required and as described in Booking.com, there were enough toiletries you can take from a place close to the laundry room, even generosily provided with Espresso capsules. good wifi signal, comfortable bed. Dark curtains helping to have a proper sleep in Iceland's sunny nights. The heating was perfectly working. The view from the windows is amazing, you see the beautiful mountains The host were so nice and quickly replying to my inquiries via booking messaging. They were burning to help and make sure my stay is comfy. Good location, only 3 min walk to the bus stop which directly takes you everywhere including the town centre. An 8 min walk to (Netto) supermarket with good opening hours.

A strange smell, like rubbers at the entrance of the apartment, probably the carpet material, although so clean.

The apartment was fairly clean. There was a toaster, Nespresso machine, microwave and utensils for cooking. The apartment was small and pretty basic but fit for the purpose as we stayed out during the day. There was a laundry room for guests but we didn't use it so can't comment on that. Communication was really good, every time I texted before the trip with questions, they answered straight away and were really polite and helpful. Great location, very near Reykjavik by car and several supermarkets nearby. We rented a car as transport is very expensive in Iceland, it was the best thing we could have done. Saved us a lot of money in tours as we got to visit all the most famous locations by ourselves. The only tour we paid for was to go see the Northern lights as you don't want to go to unknown places in the dark of night by yourself. If you are going to Iceland to explore and see as much as you can and need a place jus for sleeping and cook the occasional meal/breakfast I recommend this apartment.

The apartment was too hot. The heating seemed to be on for the whole building and there was no way to control it. Although the temperature outside was negative we kept the windows open during the day. Could use a mat by the door, as the shoes were wet from the snow outside, the first time we got in, the floor was all wet... We end up having to take our boots outside before getting in.

Using access codes made it so easy and simple and less likely to forget keys as the code was always on my phone. It felt safe too. Lovely apartment, perfect size for one person, had everything I needed, very clean and tidy, also the views from the window were amazing especially during sunset. Good reasonable distance from the main town area with shops, close to amenities and cafe opposite the flat. Nice location, easy to reach via taxi or local bus,was able to access local excursions/tour buses close by too.

A bit more information beforehand regarding laundry, I didn't know that there would be a charge for using the washing machine and dryer, would be helpful to have that advertised online.

The location of the property and the mountain view room are two of the main reasons we decided to book to stay here. Everything was modern and clean and really easy to check in as well. The apartments are about 45 minutes from the airport and just across from the apartment is a lovely bakery! We had a slight issue with our room type as when we checked in it was not the one that I had selected upon booking. I had selected a mountain view room which was not the case when we checked in. I spoke with the apartments via Booking.com and they explained this was an error on Booking.com's side of things. With that being said we were upgraded and room moved the following morning with no further issues. Huge thank you to the team for making this stay more than memorable and dealing with the issue quickly and efficiently.

Nothing to not like, more of a tip: if you select a room with a Mountain View just be sure to double check that this is what you will be getting. As I said above the team dealt with my issue very quickly and couldn't fault anything about my stay. Will definitely be back!

Prior to my arrival I received an email with all of the apartment details along with their door codes. This was excellent and extremely efficient. Great idea. The apartments were very spacious and spotlessly clean. Nice white linen and really fluffy towels. Great location - about 15-20 min stroll into the city of Reykjavik and only a five minute walk to our course location. Amazing facilities, we didn't cook, but we had the option to. Would highly recommend and I have recommended to the course providers as the location is superb.
