I really liked the room - large, quite new and modern. Clean. Comfortable bed. Well-sized bathroom. Room 202 looking towards the road in the south, quiet. Good location, some 15 minutes of walking towards the downtown. Plenty of parking spaces (during the day), can be a problem if you come late at night. Good and fast communication. Well priced accomodation.

No breakfast option in the hotel. Not a huge fan of key-code system if something goes wrong in the middle of the night (mostly it worked, sometimes it required two tries). Issues with payment over Booking.com, but that was resolved.

Easy check-in, no hassle. The pin pads don’t always turn on right away, and can take a few attempts to activate them. Very little parking, even though it’s advertised that there is a lot. The street parking is there, but after a certain time 1700hrs and the vehicle has to be moved by 900hrs. Bonus is just steps away, and only minutes to the downtown area.

I put the sign out to get new towels, and change the garbage on the third day of our stay. No one came. I put it out again the next day, no one came. I took the garbage down myself, and found the garbage bins. Someone came and asked what we needed as they had seen the sign earlier, and I let them know I had taken the garbage out already.

The hotel is new and clean. For the discounted price I got for the double room, I CANNOT complain anything. I am happy I canceled another hotel and booked this one instead while I could (in the last hours of my free cancelation). The bathroom looks amazing, they used a good brand for the set of showing head and rain shower too! The water pressure (in this basement room) is WOW.

Let's say this is not a complaints but the room for improvement :) I got the room on the "basement" floor. Practically, looking out to the window is a parking lot. Therefore, I don't open the curtain due to my privacy. I don't know about other floors but on this floor ppl can make noise when closing the door.. But probably they sell this room for cheaper price for this reason.

Great location. Large clean room with a very comfortable bed and a private bathroom. It is self check in using a code they email to you in advance of your arrival so be aware. The keypads on the doors (there are many of them) needs getting used to - just click any key to activate them before entering your code. They have a secure luggage room in the lobby which is very handy if you happen to arrive before check in time of 3 pm. We landed early in the morning, left our luggage there and then went out for city sightseeing - very convenient. Very safe neighborhood is a big plus.

Although it is walking distance to the Hilton hotel where you get many a sightseeing bus, and to the hotel next door where most tours pick you up from, it is a 15-20 minute walk to city center and its restaurants. But there is a bakery outside the hotel, and a Pita place nearby that makes up for it.

The place was really quiet, hot water, soap and coffee, the heaters were working as expected and you would be able to dry the wet clothes. The room have TV.

The rooms are a bit dark, more light would be great, also the location is not the best. If you want to go to the touristic zone of reikjavik you will need to walk at least one hour or pay the most expensive public transport in Europe.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds and bathrooms. Booking.com messed up the billing on our stay, so when we arrived the room code would not work. We called the hotel customer service- a real person picked up within seconds and was able to get everything sorted. We were very happy with the customer service from the hotel, particularly since we arrived very tired at midnight. We did not prepay for the breakfast, but found it wasn't an issue since there are three coffee shops/bakeries (including one entirely vegan) within a five minute walk!

More of disclaimer than a dislike: there are no lobby or concierge staff on site. You will receive a code to use on the lobby door, storage area, and room the day of your check in. There are cleaning staff around during normal hours. We always felt completely safe even without 24/7 staff on site. The hotel is a bit further out than some others, but only an extra 5-10 minute walk.

The property was clean Beautiful bathroom

The padlock was malfunctioning. Tried the code a few times then a siren sounded and it said the system was locked. There was a number to call for help but it is NOT an 800 #, so we couldn't use our American phones. Thankfully there was a local couple checking out and they called from THEIR phone. That's how we were able to get to our room, which we didn't even know the number. All had was our reservation number and a PIN code. Pat was very helpful resetting the system and giving us a new PIN code. But if it wasn't for the European couple that let us use their phone, we'd be screwed big time... BTW, never saw stronger water pressure in any hotel I've been so far!

It was clean, comfortable, a good location, and very affordable.

Me and my wife, as well as another couple in the same building, had difficulty accessing our rooms because payment was not processed. I’ve not had this type of issue with other bookings via this website before. It wasn’t until I had arrived for check in and called the provided number that I was provided a link to finalize payment. Additionally, the directions sent were not clear regarding how to input the room access code (specifically how to activate the lock so that we could input the access code). As a result, we activated a security feature that locked us out of the room for a few minutes; I had pressed the black button at the top of the lock thinking that would turn on the backlight so that I could see the numbers.

Despite being a short 2 night stay I really loved how clean and nice this hotel is. For me everything was smooth and perfect, the code was working with no issues - I had a little balcony which was amazing. The overall building is pretty modern with even the TV being new. Highly recommend for the value.

I could clearly hear the room beside me like I am in it the isolation is very bad, was not annoying to high level but still it's the matter of privacy. Also plz fix that water spilling when showing I saw many other reviewers complain about that.

Excellent beautiful modern room (bed, bathroom etc.) just like on the photo's. It's a recent build new hotel, that's why. Only around 10 minutes walk from beginning main street (foodhall/BSI bus platform). If book earlier is average cheaper then the ones in and around the city centre. No noise from people outside, because quiet neighborhood. You can sleep much better also rooms are more isolated.

That the door handle from outside don't works sometimes and you have to put simply your code again and then it will closed. Maybe advice to put that in the instructions? 😉 Also the window at this room was difficult to close, it closed on a different way then you regularly used to it.
