Lovely, spacious family villa, right next to the pool and restaurant for breakfast. Everything kept clean and tidy. My daughter loved the pool! Fantastic location, within walking distance of restaurants, shops and ferry. Bike to everything else. Great for divers (we did a refresher course and it was really well run). Tasty breakfast and super friendly staff.

Our villa was at the end of the resort, so we were right next to the restaurant‘s kitchens and the island’s main street. It was really noisy in the evenings up until 10pm (music from the bars), then you could hear everything going on in the kitchens from 6.30am. It didn’t really bother us, but it might bother light sleepers.

The experience in Ocean5 resort is amazing and it’s so close to Harbour. Ono, Chelle, Azkia, Tegar, and other staffs are really helpful and always smiling. You will find a good vibe here no matter just staying or diving. Also, my AOW instructor, Yunus, is a professional, cute yet funny guy. He tried many ways to improve my skills. If you wanna have a good learning environment throughout the course, Yunus is definitely your best choice. And Sury was our fun dive DM, a professional, caring and thoughtful guy. If you wanna see any creatures, Sury will try his best to find them for you. Big thanks to all of them for their professionalism and I believe you will love here too. Happy guests from Hong Kong

Immaculate rooms and facilities. The whole place is very well maintained. Central location, right across from the harbour where the ferry arrives. Easy to walk up the Main Street to the village where there are lots of delicious restaurants serving traditional food. We had some of the best Indonesian food we have ever had in the local Warungs. Easy to walk to the snorkelling spots on the east coast or the white sandy swimming spots on the west coast. The pool is beautiful and very clean. There is a choice for breakfast and good espresso coffee at the resort cafe at an additional cost. The diving is well organised the guides are very professional and experienced and the visibility was exceptional 30m+

An amazing clean and deep pool, great location, we loved our time here. So close to everything, very convenient for ferry arrival and departure and an easy walk or bike ride to restaurants and cafes. The staff helped us arrange a fantastic snorkel trip, and our son also did discover scuba and had an awesome time in the pool and on the reef with the dive instructors. The family room is great, loads of space and really good Aircon.

Staying at Oceans5 was a great experience! Me and my husband signed up for the PADI Open Water Certification so it was pretty convenient to stay there during the lessons. The hotel is very well located, just next to the harbour and walking distance to the main street where you can find lots of shops and restaurants. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Loved the 25mts pool :) All the staff was super nice too! Will definitely come back.

There's probably more luxurious hotels if you're not intent on diving, but if your visit to Gili Air will include a dive or two (or five), this is without a doubt the perfect place to stay. Wonderful staff, very charming hotel rooms, a tasty breakfast and a perfect location. The dives and diving instructors are all amazing and unforgettable!

Some rooms have spotty wifi, which is a blessing for some and a negative for others.

Genuinely nice and approachable staff. Always there and willing to help. Good food, fast service. Very chilled all around. Left feeling I'd like to come back, which says it all for me. Dive instructor was a top chap too :).

I stayed with Oceans 5 to complete my Open Water Padi and had the best time! Great bungalows and gorgeous big swimming pools. The staff are super helpful, my bathroom door handle broke and they came to fix it within half an hour. Great location next to the harbour and nice shops/ restaurants.

The room was very comfortable and smelled nice. Location is perfect, right by the main road leading to the shops and by the sea, and not far to the nice beaches. Bicycles can be rented right from outside the accommodation which was great.

As part of the bathroom is open air, the room requires anti mosquito spiral insecticide to keep mosquitos away.

We loved the location. Breakfast was good that was included. The coffee is awful unless you are Balinese and enjoy Lomak coffee - it is an acquired taste and that was included in the breakfast menu. There should have been an alternative coffee or tea offered .
