The Hotel looked more like a 5 star from the cleanness the decor. The staff were so happy and welcoming. The heating was very warm I didn't use the covers on my bed I was so warm and comfortable sleeping. The breakfast was nice the staff at breakfast were also very accommodating. There was a big car park. I will definitely be back great value for money for sure

They started to cut the grass to early. Before my alarm went off. After travelling from Cork I needed more sleep the tap in the bathroom needed a sign to say use gently as the bathroom floor and myself got soaked when I lifted the tap to wash the water came out the tap very fast and splashed over the sink to the floor so I had to use a towel to dry the floor

It was clean and cozy. The hotel and room were nice and modern, better than many 4* hotels I visited.

I got forgotten in the bar during dinner and no one was coming to take my order or to collect the plates or to offer dessert… I had to go and find someone myself. Staff were nice and polite but looked very busy. Maybe there was some staff missing… I don’t know. Similar story during breakfast. I showed up and there was no one to direct me… didn’t know if I can seat anywhere or some particular table. didn’t know if I should go help myself or waiter will come… also very poor choice for someone who’s not a fan of Irish breakfast… to sum up the dining during my stay was the only thing that was quite poor. I hope management can work on that because I feel like coming back but not really eating in there…

I can't remember the name of the girl at reception but she was absolutely brilliant. I had asked for a bath in the bathroom as one of our members was doing the Mondello24 hour cycle. She delivered on that and also we had had brought two bikes and the receptionist arranged for them to be left in safe storage. We were leaving the hotel very early in the morning going to Mondello and she organised a "take-away" breakfast of Sandwiches and fruit etc. The hotel was fabulous and we will be back.

No complaints at all.

The premises were wonderfully maintained and the setting had very good vibe overall. Everything you need (pub, breakfast) is on site. We got great customer service (a room upgrade - thanks Kealy!) and enjoyed our stay immensely (after a long flight and drive). This really is a great location to explore the Boyne Valley and all the wonderful history there. A hidden gem - super recommended!

I honestly can't think of anything that didn't met or exceed expectations.

We had two double beds and 2 single beds on the ground floor for just myself and one daughter.. The room would be fab for elderly or disabled as shower, toilet within a wet room. My son and partner, daughter and partner had smaller rooms. All were comfortable, one room not yet renovated.. It was comfortable and reception staff were friendly and helpful. I booked via booking.com a lot cheaper than booking direct which my sister did! Would recommend this hotel, but request a fan as smaller rooms were very warm.

Nothing I didn't like. My sisters also had rooms. My cousins rooms were cleaned daily. My sisters rooms were not which they would have liked, but when requested told this wasn't a facility.. They had a 3 night stay. I had a 2 night stay so I prefer not to be cleaned. Request when booking if you want daily clean I guess?

Robbie, the manager and Claire, the Evening Manager were extremely helpful, professional , polite and courteous. The morning breakfast restaurant staff were cheery and their were prompt, fast and accurate. The Ladies who keep the rooms spotless were a delight and most helpful. Many thanks to the Ardboyne Hotel staff, they are the people who make this hotel highly recommended. I look forward to return visit.

NOTHING!

The room was very comfortable, breakfast was great, plenty of choice. All the staff where very friendly and always there to help.

The only thing i would say was that my 2 adult daughters and i shared a room which was fine as there was plenty of room. However there were only 2 of everything in the room, ie towels, mugs, tea facilities.

Nice hotel with plenty of comfortable seating in the entrance area, giving a really welcoming feel. Lots of car parking space. Staff very helpful and friendly, especially at breakfast.

Room and bathroom not particularly large, but adequate. Only one pillow, but bed otherwise comfortable. Net curtain broken. Awful view from window.

Location was only 45 minutes from the airport and was ideal for family flying in. Food choices were excellent and there was even a vegan menu available. Staff were polite and helpful.

The bathroom looked a little worn, but was still clean and usable. Some light fittings weren't working, but the room was very comfortable.

Large accessible and quiet room. Good shower and bed. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful. Impressive reception area with comfortable seating. Also good car parking.

Could do with more staff in the bar as it was so busy in the evenings. Bathroom sink had a single tap and no plug. Had to turn the tap fully on to get hot water and the pressure was too much.
