The property was ideal for what we needed. The 1 bed cottages have room to sleep up to 6 people and you couldn’t really ask for more. There is a very spacious kitchen/living area also with absolutely everything you could need for the trip. Gemma was also so helpful and welcoming and evening showed us where to get some Free Range Eggs from the Chickens on the farm for Breakfast😁

I couldn’t fault the property. Maybe a minor thing being the road noise from outside just in case you are a light sleeper but location is ideal for exploring Meath…Newgrange is just a few Kilometers away

I stayed here for a weekend away with my 2 kids and it did not disappoint in any way...we got welcomed in on our arrival and the cottage was like a home from home very clean and very comfortable 💞very friendly family who run this establishment and went all out to ensure our needs were catered for....play area for the kids and beautiful animals to visit for petting....we will definitely be back💞

An excellent place to stay.....the cottages are a home from home very clean and very comfortable with everything you need in them....and excellent staff who go out of their way to help in anyway they can....stayed here with my two kids 8 and 4 year old....they loved visiting the animals and the playground......we will definitely be back..... highly recommended 👌

Lovely place full of history itself. There're loads of natural lights in the kitchen and bathroom due to the velux windows, very nice! Dishwasher in the kitchen and 2 fire extingushers. Our cat loved to stay at the window watching outside. Just a few minutes from Slane castle. There was a very helpful folder in the room with the main attractions and things to do around.

The curtains on the windows were nice for winter time, but I would suggest to have a blind or blackout as days will get brighter earlier at summer time.

Perfect accommodation for wedding we were attending nearby. The hosts were friendly and super helpful, even so far as to drop us to the wedding ceremony. Would stay again In a heartbeat. Cottages are cute and cosy with everything you need. Unfortunately just a flying visit, would have liked to spend some more time there. We had a one bed cottage which has a lot of room, a double and single bed in our bedroom. Tea/coffee making facilities and fridge etc in the kitchen. We will definitely book again.

Location for wedding in Slane and then to Tankardstown House could not have been better. The accommodation was excellent but a little tired. Kitchen units and furniture all showing signs of use but nothing that caused any hardship to our stay. It was a great way to get back to nature - hearing cows in the morning and the stars at night. We would definitely reccomend and stay we would stay here again.

This was a fantastic place to stay at. The cottage we rented was nicely large with full use of a kitchen, very comfy bed and a large clean shower. Its situated very close to Slane Castle, only a short walk away. The Staff was awesome and lovely and went above and beyond to help us out and make us feel welcome. We will be booking this gem again for sure.

Nothing could have been better. I have traveled around quite a bit in Ireland and North Ireland and can comfortably say that this is the far best place I have stayed at,

Very quaint with a well stocked communal kitchen. Very close to Slane - you could walk if you were okay walking on country roads for a bit. Overall, a great place to stay, just a little far from Dublin if you were to use this as a homemade stay.

Lovely apartment for family of 4 to relax, recover from jet lag, and sight see in County Meath. It was easy to check in and staff were readily available. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and quiet at night.

We had a little trouble with the toilet flushing. Some noise from the road, but only during the day.

Excellent place to stay in a lovely area. Conveniently located for Newgrange, Hill of Tara, Kells etc, Really nice and helpful hosts, and the cottage is delightful, self contained, with comfy bed. Will definitely make this my first choice when revisiting the area. Highly recommended.
