I cannot compliment the staff enough during my stay. The housekeeping staff are phenomenal and the charming gentleman at breakfast was so welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, I ordered the veggie with coffee... Faultless. The bed was extremely comfy and the short time I was there (I was at a wedding) I had no enjoyable sleep.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the walls appear to be paper thin. The guests staying beside me woke me up and this was simply a phone call a woman was having. Although to be expected at a hotel that is central in the town you can also hear what's going on outside. I would definitely recommend earplugs, mine came in handy!

Excellent breakfast, room service delivered at the time requested. Staff were extremely friendly and willing to please. Absolutely no complaints and would look forward to staying there again. Liked that the receptionist phoned before my arrival to check if I was ok with the fact there may be some noise from their nite club. In the end there was very little noise - certainly nothing that caused any concern.

No complaints with anything. I would only have been trying to find a fault for fault's sake.

The pre stay email correspondence. I felt we knew Aisling before we got there. Kevin gave us the warmest and friendliest welcome. our room was absolutely beautiful and had a gorgeous generous gift of sweets for our son. Such a personal touch. We had a delicious dinner that night in the hotel. we we extremely impressed. Staff were exceptional friendly and good at their job. Sarah was a so down to earth and such a pleasure to meet.

I was warned when I booked that there would be noise from the nightclub on the Saturday night. There was. I still slept well. The real stars of the show were the staff. All the staff were exceptional, very friendly, helpful and could not have been nicer. These guys are the best around.

Lovely Room, King Bed, plenty of Toileteries provided and Tea/Coffee making facilities. Had a meal in the Bar a nice variety on the Food Menu very tasty and Breakfast was the same. Lovely friendly Staff, Aisling at Reception and the young Bar Staff very helpful. Centre of Birr town parking provided with Code for Gate to get out.

The Shower Unit was complicated to use as it was old one needs to be updated !

It is ideally sited to enjoy the delights of Birr and it's famous castle. Personally it was ideal. for me to explore my ancestors who established the town as it is today namely the Parson family who still live at the castle. The hotel staff are very friendly and hard working. Well done to everyone.

Traditional Irish in a great location. Staff really helpful and friendly; nothing too much trouble. Would recommend.

The rooms felt a little tired; having said that they were comfortable and cozy.

Food in restaurant was beautiful.

Thought room was a bit cold. But that could just be me as I live in spain

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly. Rooms comfortable and very spacious. Breakfast was fabulous the next morning. Very pleased overall.

Stay here. This place is excellent and the people go out of their way to help. Kevin in particular was very accommodating and assisted me during my stay. Excellent meals. Really worth the stay.
