Breakfast was just right. Good quality items, enough choice and the dining room setting was nice. Bedroom was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. Host was very accommodating and friendly, providing me with tea and toast when I arrived way to early to fully check in. Location quiet and pleasant.
Shower wasn't powerful enough for me. Dining room dining room a bit too warm with it being in the conservatory in the middle of a warm summer spell, but opening windows helped a touch. Considering this and distance from town, I feel it was a little over priced at £134 for one night. £110 feels about right.

Everything, as the room was spacious, well equipped, with a comfy chair, dressing table, drawers & adequate cupboard space, tea, coffee, biscuits, mineral water & a personal mini fridge. All amenities were replaced daily, and should you require more, were promptly delivered and supplied complimentary. The ensuite had a wonderful walk-in shower, large basin, and full toilet. Fresh towels, both large and small, were replaced daily unless you requested otherwise, soap, shampoo, moisturiser, and again supplied daily. A large Television/Radio was wall mounted with remote. Adequately heated individually controlled. A very comfortable double bed with adjoining bedside tables with a drawer and cupboard and lights. A small circular table was positioned beside the comfi chair adorned with water glasses. Breakfast was served in the conservatory and was included in the price. There were many options available, 9 I think. I had a full Irish breakfast daily, but my wife was more adventurous, trying a different kind every morning! Pancakes; eggs poached; scrambled; fried, bacon, sausages, fresh fruit. Basically, the hosts were so accommodating that they would have been happy to supply you anything you wanted. My Irish breakfast was so big that it kept me well fed until lunch daily! Yogurts, Fruit Juices, Fresh Coffee, Fried Eggs, Bacon, Black pudding, White pudding, Fruit bread, Sausages, Beans, Hash Brown, Irish bread, Soda bread, Fried bread, White toast, Brown toast, muffins, Fresh fruit. You name it, you got it!! 5 glorious nights in an excellent property, which was more like a home from home than a Guesthouse! And to top off everything free parking in the driveway in front of the property. Personally, I could not find a single fault with this Guesthouse.
I started travelling the world from the age of 9, 55 years ago, and for the first time in my life, I can honestly say that there wasn't anything at all that I didn't like!!!

Host is charming, welcoming. Stayed here on return to Dublin from NI. Exterior belies true comfort within. Quiet residential neighborhood. Room with 2 beds was small, but very cozy. Breakfast room is bright, cheery sunroom surrounded by flower gardens. Home-cooked Irish breakfast with fresh breads. Restaurant and pub down the street open late, good food. Free parking available in lot or on street.

Easy to find, just of the main Dublin Road. Peter was the perfect host. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room (Room 1). The whole place is spotlessly clean and the room well-appointed with comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities, mini-fridge. The bathroom included shower gel, soap and body lotion which is a nice touch. The bed linen, towels and even bathrobes were top quality. Peter gave advice on where to eat in the evening and we had a key to come and go as we pleased. Breakfast was fantastic; a beautiful selection of cereals, yogurt, bread, muffins, and cooked breakfast. Our planned activity changed and again Peter's knowledge of the area was invaluable in giving ideas of alternative places to visit. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend for a quiet night, good sleep and breakfast as well as a lovely host.

Accommodating. Nice place to spend a night. Quiet neighborhood.
I could have used a bit more info at check-in. E.g., it looked like folks may have been purchasing drinks etc. based on empties sitting for recycling. I don't know if that was an option or if people simply put their recycling near the breakfast room.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Orley House. We are a family of 2 adults and a 12yr old girl. The owner was friendly and helpful. Our room was downstairs and we were looking out at a beautiful garden. The house is in a quiet street with car parking outside.Beds were really comfortable and we also had a small fridge in room with a few soft drinks in it .Breakfast was delicious with homemade wheaten bread and a good selection of hot food. a menu was left into our room every day for us to choose what we wanted and to pick a time we would be eating the next morning. We ate in the conservatory..The Black Bull restaurant was close by for evening meals and well worth trying..we were close to shops and Post Office and a short distance from shopping centre etc. The reason for our stay was to visit Tayto Park and it's only about a 20minute drive away. We also visited The Battle of the Boyne. We had a brilliant weekend and highly recommend Orley House
