good sized room. Wasn't aware that because it was an apartment the room and towels were not cleaned everyday. Good location- Although outside of the city it's a short walk to the train which takes 15 minutes into city centre.

As mentioned above about the towels- but I had missed that on the information! Corridors were very dark! Could hear doors banging a lot and could sometimes hear noises from upstairs. Considering the rooms aren't cleaned everyday the cleaning staff made a lot of noise in the corridor every morning! Don't expect a lie in. Very expensive area- even eating out- didn't realise how expensive Dublin is!

We booked the studio apartment which was spacious enough for three people. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet. The Nespresso machine and complimentary bottled water was a nice touch and the bathroom was also well stocked. Room also came with a machine machine, fridge microwave and dishwasher so would be ideal for a longer stay too. A special mention to the staff who were professional and friendly and happy to assist with anything we needed.

The room was clean and had a Nespresso machine, which I really appreciated. The location is fantastic. It is within walking distance of many restaurants, pubs and cafes. The hotel also has a small gym, nothing fancy, but has what I needed for a quick workout.

The only thing that this hotel is missing is charging plug ins by the bed. There are no clocks in the room, and no way to charge your phone by the bed. The charging station is on the dresser. If you want to know what time it is in the middle of the night, you have to either get out of bed, or forgo charging your phone over night.

The location of the hotel is great. The hotel was extremely clean. The bathrooms were nice.

The staff were not friendly. I would not normally write a review if it was a one time incident. However throughout the short stay, the concierge team were not friendly, not helpful, and dismissive. Asking for simple things like a map, ear-plugs (the occupants next to us were extremely loud), or a taxi...seemed to be an inconvenience for the staff. The staff were more engaged in having conversations with each other rather than finding the "yes", helping with directions, or assisting with luggage.

Everything was great. It is a clean modern facility. We stayed in the apartment with kitchenette. There is a dishwasher, washing machine microwave and stovetop.It was quiet, well designed and wheelchair accessible, although we didn’t require it. Curtains and blinds were remote controlled, lighting was superb.Front desk were friendly and extremely helpful. The lobby is spacious and airy.

Garbage should have been collected daily. I didn’t call to ask for it to be done, but was surprised it wasn’t done automatically.

It was a big room, very clean and modern looking with facilities to cook and wash. The staff were helpful, the location was okay and not too far from the city, it's 20 minute walk but also buses available. Herbert Park next to it is beautiful and peaceful place to sit. In case you wanna take Aircoach to airport, the coach stop is 12 minute away on foot (Morehampton road) and you need to go past the Herbert Park. In general it was all good, no complaints.

The breakfast was okay but definitely was not worth the value. I paid 24 euros for the breakfast with nothing really special. Similar breakfast in a 4 star hotel in Berlin (in a good area) cost me 15 euros. Better to have your breakfast in the cafes outside if you want to save on cash.

We have enjoyed our stay recently at Herbert Park Hotel, the location is convenient with very short walking distance to restaurants and bars nearby. Grafton Street (shopping area) is about 35 minutes pleasant walk from the Hotel. The room is comfortable, spacious and clean. Service was prompt. A special thanks to Vlad at the Front Office who provided us with accurate and helpful information on different modes of transportation to Dublin Airport and assisted us in arranging and escorted us to a taxi to the airport. Bravo Vlad, you are an asset to the Hotel. We will recommend Herbert Park Hotel for travellers to Dublin.

This property is located in Ballsbridge Dublin 4, it is very conveniently located to central Dublin a short tax ride for about 15 Euros and has literally within a short walk, restaurants, bars and Cafes and a large Park adjacent to the hotel. I stayed here twice in a week and it was quiet, comfortable clean and had excellent car parking at a very reasonable rate on site, it exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay there again without hesitation. We were able to walk quickly to the livelier Baggot street and enjoy dinner and bars in the evening and walk home again just a 20 minute walk, staff were helpful and polite, all in all excellent value for money a rare thing in todays world.

1) The room was very well prepared and clean upon check-in. 2) All aspects of the room were fully functional (air-conditioning / heating, coffee machine, Smart TV, charging ports, South African plug point etc). 3) The room was aesthetically pleasing with modern finishes. 4) The bed and pillows were comfortable. Didn't regret not bringing our own pillows, however, to each their own. 5) Reception was highly responsive and supportive to our ad hoc requests, given our lengthy stay. 6) The hotel is close to a SPAR convenience store and pharmacy. 7) The hotel is located near a bus stop making it seamless to use the Transport for Ireland (TFI) buses around Dublin (Leap cards for using the bus can also be purchased from the nearby SPAR) 8) Victor at reception was an absolute delight to deal with. We felt that were in good hands throughout our time there.

1) I was not charged the correct amount in ZAR when paying for the accommodation. Booking.com had been providing regulator ZAR amount updates on the app, so that I could monitor the amount, prior to my stay. However, upon check-in, the spot rate of the day was not used to convert the EUR amount to the ZAR amount, resulting in a higher ZAR amount being charged by the hotel. 2) The manager addressing the point #1 above, did not deal with my concern in a very friendly way. He was a bit rude. 3) The hotel restaurant is very expensive. I would not recommend ordering or eating there.

The staff went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The maids were fantastic and also the older man in the bar / restaurant he went out of his way to get me something off the menu as I'm a very plain eater and he kept checking to see was I OK. Such a gentleman . The check in and out was so efficient .The room was so so clean and comfortable . I hadn't slept in days but the bed was so comfortable I did sleep that night 😴. The surroundings to the hotel are beautiful you have the park and you can walk down ballsbridge . Amazing 👏
