Lovely cosy room with a queen size bed and decent size bathroom. Lovely design and colours. Room is equipped with a spacious wardrobe and a coffee machine, also has an international socket near the bed. Breakfast is plenty and very tasty.

Everything was fine, nothing to complain about. If I had to be picky I would say that only one kind of tea is offered for breakfast in general and it would be nice to have more salty pastries, as everything on offer was sweet.

Prime location with lots to see and do nearby including Trinity, Grafton St, St Stephens and plenty museums, restaurants and bars. The rooms in hotel are quiet, well presented and clean. Bed is so comfortable, bathroom small but everything you could need was there. Luggage store available too.We stayed for anniversary and were surprised with a room upgrade and gift from management.

Breakfast wasn't included in rate. We weren't offered or told any of the information should we have chosen to have a breakfast. Also weren't informed of gym facilities at sister hotel across the road. Room didn't have a brochure advertising tourist attractions or any discounts. The mini fridge is good but could have done with more milk / water but easily solved when asking at reception.

The staff were very friendly and the property is beautiful and well located.

I may be being picky but the daily housekeeping service was the one thing to let the hotel down. they seemed to just straighten the pillows and duvet and not even re tuck the sheet around the mattress. Our floor really needed to be vacuumed and for the 4 days we were there it wasn’t once vacuumed, there was rubbish on the bathroom floor as well as hairs when we arrived in the room and that stayed there for the duration of our stay. we arrived late on the Friday night and there wasn’t even a bottle of water in the room. this did appear on the Saturday however. All small details but for a 4* hotel and for the price we paid I would have expected the standards to be slightly higher. The friendly and helpful staff did make up for this though.

Location great easy walk to most thing and could pick up the hop on hop off your bus very close by. Room was nice as was bathroom nice shower. Cleaned daily, breakfast was really nice food plenty good variety to choose from and very pleasant breakfast room which would make a nice restaurant. Bar was pleasant as were the staff but was very quiet preferred the bar at sister hotel The Sin Bin at the Mont hotel bit more of a buzz. All staff were helpful and pleasant and I would recommend this hotel and I would use again.

The room was a little on the dark side and the lighting was not great there is some building work going on next door to the hotel with the builders having a good view into our room so had to keep the curtains closed which is why the lighting was a bit of an issue as no natural light. They could do with a proper restaurant as well as the bar and bar menu but on the whole it didn’t stop the enjoyment of our trip.

Our room was spacious and very quiet, beds and pillows were very comfy. I loved having the nespresso machine and a bit of milk in the fridge to get going straightaway in the morning. Location was wonderful, very close to everything we wanted to do. The staff was very nice and helpful. Also loved the decor in the lobby!

I would have liked to have conditioner in the bathroom, we only had bath wash, shampoo and lotion. My husband found the duvet a bit too warm and would have liked to have a sheet or lighter option but I myself liked the duvet and thought it was just right.

The decor, the food in bar was lovely. Nice room. Very clean.

When we got back to the hotel late we asked could we get a small snack as we were starving. Reception staff told us the kitchen was closed. We then asked for just a biscuit or something small to have with a cup of tea. Again we were told the kitchen was closed. I told staff we were very hungry and there must be something they could do. Receptionist looked annoyed and went into bar and spoke to barman. He gave us some snacks from the jars on the bar. He was very nice. The reception staff in general could be a bit more friendly. The bar staff were very nice.

Very clean, beautiful hotel. Staff are amazing and go the extra mile to take care of you. 10 min walk to Grafton street. 15 min walk to Temple Bar. Breakfast was delicious. I’d definitely stay again.

We paid extra for the use of the executive lounge. However, it wax only available between 4pm-8pm so we didn’t get any value from it as we had dinner reservations at 6:30. Most lounges are open all day and have a set time for alcoholic beverages in the evening. It’s a pity we couldn’t pick up bottles of water and snacks throughout the day, as expected.

I found the Davenport really comfortable and enjoyable. It is located within a couple of blocks of Trinity University, and near some of Ireland's main national museums. But it's a couple of blocks away from really busy spots, and this was a great combination. The hotel has a friendly, well-run, and serviceable restaurant, where I dined a few times. I also really liked the 110V outlet in the room, as I was using my American laptop every day. This was my first trip to Dublin, and the Davenport helped make it a pleasant experience!

There were no washcloths in the bathroom, and just one face towel. For the rate I was paying, I found this a bit odd. I mean, c'mon folks -- WWII ended a while ago...I think ya can do a little more on the towels.

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, lovely shower, friendly helpful staff, delicious breakfast and we also ate in the bar on our stay which was also good. Good location to the 3Arena which is why we booked as we were attending a concert there. Got a taxi from the hotel that they arranged which brought us right to the door.

The menu variety for dinner wasn't great even though what we ordered was lovely. Most of the starters are fish based so if you don't like fish you're limited.

The staff were excellent and in particular, Celia on reception. Any request I made for help was dealt with efficiently and in a very warm and positive manner. We had lunch and breakfast and the food was high quality. I was very pleased with my trip overall and will recommend the Davenport to others and for sure stay there again.

The food was very good overall. Maybe one area for improvement could be the range of the menu in the restaurant whichh was quite limited.
