I booked this trip away for my partners 21st birthday and wow was it perfect! As soon as we arrived at the hotel we was greeted by a very friendly gentleman who gave us lots of information about Dublin and let us check in 3 hours early to our room! Not only that but we was given an upgrade and 2 free drink tokens as I asked if they could do any surprises for my partner’s birthday and they didn’t disappoint! We stayed in the new build part of the hotel and the room was stunning, very clean and the bed was extremely comfy. We loved staying at The Dean we used the pool, sauna and gym every day which was excellent especially that it is included with the booking of the room. We also had drinks at the bar in the new building a few nights and the bar man was so friendly and gave us lots of bar recommendations (very good ones) and made our trip very pleasant! We had our free drinks on Sophie’s rooftop which was stunning and had a lovely meal there at sunset. I definitely recommend this hotel especially to couples. It is about a 20-30 minute walk to temple bar but around a 5 minute walk to the man street with all the shops, it is next to a night club which i suppose has a potential of being noisy at night however this was never a problem for us and we couldn’t hear the music! Thank you for having us hopefully we will be back again😊

Loved the bedroom, especially the comfy bed and the style, fantastic stay with the option of using the gym and small pool outside.. Bonus! The hotel has a rooftop bar and restaurant called Sophie’s we had drinks in the afternoon and lunch which was very nice, plus the weather was amazing. We also had breakfast overlooking the area , very lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here and if you want to walk a few yards there’s bars, nightclubs and shops not too far.

The hotel was next to a nightclub, that was the only downside as it was loud at night however the hotel provided earplugs which didn’t totally block this out but did help.

The staff were very nice. Housekeeping extremely nice. The bathroom’s rain shower was great. The hotel’s location was convenient to transportation and walking to restaurants and shops. Close to Grafton Street, St. Stephen’s Green Park and many museums.

It was just fine for a night or two. The rooms are small with no storage beyond a couple of hooks and hangers on the wall. The bathroom was nice and large and we were able to park our suitcases in there. The door to the bath is a barn door style which sticks and was difficult to close and open.

Great design hotel, interior decoration trendy and comfortable. Rooms gorgeously decorated even if very small. Sophie's rooftop very cool for apéros. We read about all the noisy comments from reviews and asked for a quiet room in advance and the staff kindly allocated us a (mostly - see below section) quiet room in the Townhouse, 3 doors down from where the main hotel is, so this was really great.

No one came to clean the room and make the beds during our stay. Our room was a ground floor and the window was totally covered in black opaque film so it was really like there was no window at all in the room - definitely no natural light. Despite beautifully decorated rooms are very small as well. On one of the 2 nights we were woken up in the middle of the night by drunken people screaming just outside the room window (the one we couldnt really see through). Otherwise indeed the room was not systematically noisy. For the price - almost 600eur for 2 nights - no housekeeping, no natural light and the possibility for some noise just outside your window in the middle of the night - it is indeed a bit of a stretch.

Our flight back to the UK was cancelled so we booked very last minute. Staff were incredibly accommodating and sympathetic to our situation and couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. Our room was GORGEOUS and whilst there was building work going on outside, the windows were super sound proof so you couldn't hear anything. Gym was LOVELY too. They incredibly helpfully extended our checkout time as I had a day of meetings at work. They made what could have been a very stressful trip, totally fabulous and I didn't want to leave.

couldn't fault the trip. The room was near some construction work which you could hear if the windows were open, but if they were shut you couldn't hear a thing

My stay at The Dean was absolutely fantastic! The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the hotel's aesthetic was truly outstanding. Its central location made it incredibly convenient to explore all that Dublin has to offer. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and stylish stay in the city. Oh, and I must mention that the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud!

During my stay at The Dean, I was situated on the 3rd floor with a window overlooking the outdoor space of the adjacent club. While the noise didn't personally bother me, and I was aware of it beforehand, it's important to note that light sleepers may find it disruptive. On the bright side, the hotel does provide earplugs, which can be helpful in minimizing any disturbance.

We liked the décor. The hotel is very "hip" if that's what you care for, and in a good location. Lots of restaurant options close by, but also nightclubs so ask for a quiet room.

The room we were given didn't match the photos/category that we had booked on the website. We complained at reception upon check-out (we arrived very late the previous day) - the supervisor offered to compensate us with free breakfast, which we accepted. The service in the restaurant (Sophie's) was average, and the French toast was copious, but not memorable in our opinion. Generally, I felt that the service was below par, we didn't like the "too cool for school attitude" that came with the hipster vibe.

From start to finish it was a great experience. We felt really welcomed and looked after by everyone at The Dean. We were also delighted to be upgraded. Something which lots of hotels don’t bother doing for Genius Program holders, it was a really nice touch. Our room was very well sound proofed. Reception staff, Cleaning staff and Gym/Pool staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating. Prices might be high in Dublin for accommodation but The Dean is worth every penny for the level of service and comfort you receive. We will be back again be it in Dublin, Cork or Galway!

Everything was great!

Room was very luxurious and bed super comfortable. All the staff were so nice and helpful, couldn't have been any nicer. Pool & Sauna such a unique little experience and really added to the value of the stay. Common areas such as the reception and bars look absolutely fabulous and have a great atmosphere. Location is very good for access to city centre and concert venues.

Rooms were lacking some basic stuff which was a bit strange, no where near the shower to hang a towel other than the drying rack. No where really either to hang some clothes other than a very small set of coat hangers near the door. Bed was massive but to the point where the duvet seemed a little bit small and didn't fully cover the entirety of the bed. Also you have very little elbow room when sitting on the toilet!

We loved the property’s location, in walking distance of lots of popular Dublin attractions, bars, restaurants and other streets. Upon, check-in the staff kindly upgraded us from a modpod room to a super room and this was very much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed the larger room which was equipped with everything you would need in a sizeable space. I also loved the hotel’s interior in the reception and hallways. On our morning of check-out, we visited the hotel gym and pool area and these were very relaxing. The facilities were very quiet and we made use of the open top pool and sauna. After the pool area, we made our way to Sophie’s Rooftop restaurant to try the hotel breakfast. This was enjoyable too and it was nice to try one morning. Overall, the hotel room, interior, facilities & staff deservedly earn this property it’s four star rating. We would stay again.

The hotel, situated on Harcourt Street is alongside several nightclub venues such as Coppers, Diceys and others. This did mean music could be heard in our room (110) until late however we were out late ourselves so this did not affect us too much. When checking in, the member of staff did warn us of this.
