A beautiful hotel right in the heart of Dublin and right next to St. Stephen's Green park for a scenic walk. Check-in was friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and really comfortable. The beds were divine to sleep in and the shower a real treat. There were lovely bath amenities and a kettle to make tea & coffee although I would have liked an espresso coffee machine in the room as I don't drink tea or instant coffee. (That's just a personal preference). There's a lovely workspace area just off reception and the breakfast room is lovely. But for me, the best part was one of the best hotel gyms I've seen for those of us who want to lift heavy weights. I was here for the week and loved it - would definitely come back.

The major downside is the noise levels. Even people standing outside in the corridor talking feels like they're in your room. I had a room with children opposite mine and when the children screamed and cried, it disrupted me - even with the TV on so if you're a light sleeper like me, you definitely need ear plugs. I didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that but there were no food facilities in the evening which was a shame when you just want to eat in and go to bed without heading out into the City on your own.

This hotel is stunning! My cab driver from the airport said that it had been closed for a long time so I am guessing perhaps it was remodeled during the pandemic. The rooms are HUGE! The bedding is very high-end including a hand-made, local merino wool blanket, and real down pillows. The business center and lounge area in the glass enclosure is absolutely gorgeous, especially during sunset. I stayed on the second floor in the Harcourt wing, and slept with my window open every night. It was very quiet which led to great nights of sleep. Oh and the gorgeous green bathrooms! The bathrooms were also huge by European standards, and the bath products very high-quality. they didn’t provide conditioner, but this is pretty standard in Europe I have found. They did provide shampoo, lotion, and body wash. The breakfast options were very comprehensive and also quite tasty. I appreciated that they had the traditional European pastries, but also scrambled eggs and hash brown triangles. I walked absolutely everywhere from this location; to the shops on Grafton Street, to Trinity College, to the Jamison brewery, to the Docks and more. I am a solo female traveler and felt completely safe and the entire area around this hotel. You can’t go wrong by staying at The Green!

Getting to my room the first time was a little bit confusing. I was on the second floor, so thought I should take the elevator to 2, but actually I needed to take it to 1, then walk down a corridor to a different wing, get another elevator and then go to 2. I learned that most of the time the lobbies here are on zero, so floor 1 is actually elevated (same as 2 in USA). One morning while I was there, the fire alarm went off and had me jumping out of bed. The property does regular drills on Tuesdays at 11 AM, but this was not one of them. By the time I threw some clothes on, the alarm had stopped so I’m guessing it was nothing but gave me a minor heart attack!

Hotel is excellently located on a corner of St Stephen’s Green. The room was clean, the bathroom was excellently appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and polite. Breakfast offering was a little sparse but otherwise it was good.

Despite having a kitchen there was no restaurant (not open). Unfortunately, on 2 of the mornings the fire alarm went off for a few seconds each time, waking us up very abruptly. The only egg option at breakfast is scrambled.

The staff at the Green were exceptional! They were attentive and very responsive to any needs or requests that I made of them. The hotel was also very good at meeting my specific disability limitations; even though a disabled room wasn't available at check in, they were able to provide a shower stool to my room. The bed was so comfortable and the room furniture was just right for relaxing between sightseeing outings. We loved stopping at the bar in the evening for a night cap - the Green Sour was delicious!

The breakfast options at the hotel were limited to either a full on buffet ($25 euros) or Tea and toast ($6.50 euros) with nothing in between. This was not ideal for my dietary restrictions.

The staff went above and beyond with our stay! The hotel is newly decorated. The rooms are excellent and the bed is huge and very comfortable. Minor but important details: There's a good iron with an ironing board. There's a hair dryer. There are USB ports right beside the lockers (nightstands). The TV has a menu with both Miracast and Chromecast technologies, which means you can stream anything from your phone. They have a 24/7 room service. The curtains are pitch-black which is great. The bedclothes and pillows are exceptional. Good wardrobe space. There's a switch system to let the maid know when the room is ready to be clean (I haven't seen this before anywhere).

According to my partner, the hairdryer could be better, but it's typical "hotel" type of hairdryer.

Located next to St Stephen’s Green Park, convenient to all attractions and Grafton St shops. The beds were incredibly comfortable, I’m not sure but they seemed to be similar to a feather bed with same type comforter. It was like sleeping on a bed of clouds. The hotel decor was Chic , yet comfortable. The staff was accommodating from the moment I made my reservation, 4 months prior to my visit, to check out, and I was high maintenance ! I needed lots of booking information and reassurance, upon arrival I needed directions and recommendations. The staff was ALWAYS pleasant and friendly. Complimentary water bottles was such a nice gesture and we really appreciated them. We thoroughly enjoyed The Green Hotel , well done everyone, well done !

I can’t think of anything… but I have a list for my hotel in the Netherlands.

service and breakfast very good

Everything was very overpriced. Check-in time of 4pm is too late on day of arrival, this would put me off staying here again as you always just want to relax and get settled when you arrive somewhere

The Reception staff at The Green Hotel at St Stephens Green in Dublin are the best!! Right from the moment we arrived at the hotel we were made feel welcome by the Reception staff member on duty. The whole feeling of the hotel exudes a welcoming vibe, our room was wonderful; spacious, clean, good views! Throughout our three day stay the Reception staff were very helpful with suggestions and recommendations where to find the best pubs, restaurants, galleries etc. I would unconditionally recommend staying at The Green in Dublin.

Nothing to fault at all.

Upon arrival, room was not ready. Since it was before check-in time, I was not troubled and spent the afternoon exploring Dublin. I was told that I would be notified when the room was ready. I did not receive notification by 5:30 PM, but returned anyway wondering when my room would be ready. The desk had to check on the status taking another 10 minutes before checking me in. Room was ready, but I have no idea how long I was delayed without notification. Not acceptable for an hotel of your supposed quality.
