Very friendly and helpful staff. All automated things worked. Even the keycards! Comfortable bed. Great location. Very nice, early breakfast with very helpful wait staff. Helpful, cheerful concierge.

The holders for the small towels in the bathroom are a very bad design - no hinges. The trashcan is near the toilet instead of under the sink in the bathroom. The lamp with the terrible rotary switch, with its cable fastened to the desk so that the switch was almost impossible to operate. There was no chair in the room from which to watch TV other than the one at the desk. No night light on the left side of the bed.

The location was ideal, within a 15-20 minute walk of many of the major points of interest, and within a few blocks of many appealing restaurants and pubs. The hotel is modern in decor, with tasteful pubic areas. The rooms were very nicely furnished and the bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and informative. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Overall a very good value

The only negative in the whole experience was the lack of a closet and/or drawers for clothes, just a minimal open rack space with a few clothes hangers and iron/ironing board. We basically lived out of our suitcases (which is not that big of a hardship).

Great location, everywhere we wanted to go on our visit was within walking distance. The hotel was exceptionally clean, a very comfortable standard room with everything you need (hairdryer, iron, kettle with tea/coffee, shower gel/shampoo and conditioner, bottled water in the fridge). There was a good choice of items for breakfast (although a little expensive if you didn’t have much!) unfortunately we didn’t try out a drink in the bar but it looked lovely. Excellent staff and customer service. The lobby area also smelled lovely! I had also contacted the hotel ahead of our visit to arrange extra surprise items for my sister’s room and this was all taken care of wonderfully.

Everything was great. There was a small mix up with our bill which needn’t have happened so was slightly annoying but once realised a personal apology and refund was prompt. So this would not put me off staying there again.

Everyone was so helpful but in particular the new concierge who had started the day I arrived. I checked out in the morning and he could not have been more helpful. I had 2 suitcases and it had started to rain and I had to walk to the office. He learnt this after helping me outside and as I set on my way walking he came running up behind me and helped me with my cases all the way to the office. It was not far down the road but I greatly appreciated his thoughtfulness and concern for my well being. A great asset to the hotel and I look forward to meeting him again this week. The breakfast team were also very helpful.

Missing room service menu. The fried eggs on the breakfast buffet have been a bit hard due to being on the pass for too long. Would be nice to have freshly cooked to order

Traveling as a family of four, it was nice to have a superior family room that included one king and two bunk bed sets. We were on the first floor above reception and the restaurant, but the room was still quiet and we didn’t even hear the music on Saturday night. We could easily walk to Stephen’s Park and the bridges across the Liffey River. We ate at a great restaurant across the river (Fish Shop, get reservations a few weeks ahead!) and enjoyed walking through the Temple Bar region on our way back to the hotel. The front staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived at 3:30 and needed to wait a few minutes for our room to be ready; the staff apologized several times but we didn’t mind sitting on the comfy couches. The breakfast at Barkley’s was good with lots of options.

Our room had a view of the alley with trash cans, so we kept the curtains closed which made the room feel darker.

I looked at multiple hotels in which to stay in Dublin and finally settled on the Grafton. The hotels in Dublin aren't really anything fancy but the reviews were good and the location seemed good as well so I booked it. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The location is fantastic! We were right in the middle of everything yet the rooms were peacefull and well soundproofed. I never heard a neighbor or anything on the street, With that said, I did request an interior room so that could be the reason. The lobby is comforable and they have a great bar. I had to expectations when I got there and left kwowing should I ever return to Dublin I would definately stay here again.

The location of the hotel was wonderful. It was right in the heart of the city and made it easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go visit. Our room was available early so we were able to get a short nap after our morning arrival. The food in the bar area was good, and the breakfast was very good as well. The bathroom layout was also interesting with the toilet area separate from the shower. Since both areas had sinks, this was very helpful.

We couldn't set the temperature on the A/C in the room, so we would turn it on and off during the night. The carpets on the floors made it a bit musty in the hallways.

Great location in the heart of the city beside Stephen’s Green shopping centre, an abundance of great bars & restaurants around it and a 5 minute walk from Grafton Street itself. Very comfortable, well appointed bedroom with good strong shower. Stylish hotel with cosy bar & restaurant and excellent breakfast. Staff friendly and attentive at all times.

There wasn’t anything to dislike. Just one small observation was that the bedroom TV lost signal quite regularly which was surprising for where we were.

Beautiful, comfortable, perfectly located in the center of things, and staffed with some of the most delightfully helpful individuals I have found in the hospitality industry, the Grafton Hotel is not to be missed if you’re looking for a high-end experience that will not break the pocketbook while you’re in Dublin. And if you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet Gareth, who works in reception, and is an outstandingly helpful and kind advisor on what to see, where to go, and how to get there. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly, from the comfort of the bed to the conscientious support of the staff to the spectacular location. Book it!
