Lovely friendly hosts and breakfast ladies. Very quiet with windows that open to a gorgeous view.

Had only one night. We were greeted by a very friendly woman upon arrival. We went to our room and got settled then went for a pint of Guinness in the common area, same woman poured our pint. We had an issue getting a light to work in our room and she went up straightaway and fixed it! Breakfast was very nice, our server was quick and efficient! Upon checkout the same woman from the evening before checked us out! ( Does she sleep?)

Must be a European style. Double beds are tiny when accustomed to bigger beds! Not a complaint - just when they say a double they mean a double bed!

The warmest of welcomes from Benny and the team. The room and en suite were large, spotlessly clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, and the coffee was really good, too. Benny kindly took us into town on a couple of days, but there is a bus stop nearby if you're not driving and only a 20-minute walk downhill to Waterford. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance of the accommodation. Thanks for a great stay Benny and The team, we can't wait to come back.

Comfortable bed, spacious room and bathroom, very handy for the various main routes in and out of the city. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Good off road parking. In a quiet village so no noise from traffic at night. Nice to watch wildlife in the field out my window at the back!

Would have liked some fruit with the breakfast, e.g. banana, to go with the cereals, and maybe yoghurts. The offering was pretty basic. I was also very concened with the function of the shower, which controls were poor and could be dangerous. I reported this to the reception and they said they would take action. The TV was high up near the ceiling and made watching difficult to my neck! Also this allowed sound from the neighbour's TV to travel through the ceiling. If they watched a late night movie, it would have been difficult to sleep.

The bedroom was a good sized spotlessly clean room, with a bright bathroom attached. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was superb. The owners made us feel very welcome. The location of the house is very convenient to Waterford city and to having access to the attractions of the county (Mahon Falls, Tramore, Dunmore East & Dungarvan).

There was nothing associated with the house that we didn't like.

Diamond Hill guest house is very well located for access to Waterford. Being a short car ride away, in a small village means it is very peaceful. Benny couldn’t have been more helpful, in recommending places to eat, places to visit and generally being on call for any enquiries. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

It would have been great to have the option of fresh coffee at breakfast, as we’re great fans, but it made little difference to our experience, a very minor matter.

It was my second time at Diamon Hill, I've been here a few years ago. We came back as I had good memory of this place, and I was right. The staff is very kind and helpful, they gave us good suggestions for our visit to Waterford. On this, in the room there was a book about what to do in the area, as well as a "Welcome book" where the owner wrote a few recommendations. Much appreciated! Nice breakfast too, you can choose between full Irish or also a number of other options, including for vegetarians. The place is very quiet: last time our room was on the back on the garden, so no noise of course. This time the room was on the other side, closer to the road, so honestly I was a bit concerned. But actually no problem at all, we slept pretty well. This place is very good value for money. Next time I come to Waterford I'll definitely double check if a room is available at Diamond Hill!

The quiet location, adequate car parking, easy access to reception (I have difficulty walking), room on ground floor, friendliness of the staff, and the more-than-adequate breakfast!

A clear description of road approach to the premises, especially as the new "Aldi" and roundabout are a welcome reference point would be a great addition to your advertisement of your lovely establishment.

Staff were amazing and the whole place was very cozy. The breakfast was a 2 options menu, I loved that Irish breakfast was actually one of them. The place is so relaxing. Totally worth it for a city break or a timeout from a busy life. Rooms had tea/coffee and TV, and there is a common room with fridge and microwave in case that u need it. There is plenty of room in the parking area

If you are going from the train station without any vehicle may be a bit far from the waterford city centre (if that is your intention). If you go cycling bare in mind that it is literally on a hill

We had a lovely stay in Diamond Hill Country House 5 minutes drive from Waterford City. Hosts very welcoming. The room was great very comfortable bed with ensuite. Good choice for Breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.
