Liked location and the parking availability. The room was recently renovated and very nice. The safe was easy to use. The new decor in reception was also lovely as it was completed during our stay. In the room the shower cubicle and available towels very good. All the staff were very friendly and all the food was delicious.

It was a shame the renovation work meant the reception was undergoing renovation and the bar room was also closed for work. In the room it would be useful to have a mirror fixed over the dressing table where the plugs are to aid hair drying. There was a small portable mirror that lit up but was too magnified to use to dry hair against. Also useful would be to provide some draws in the room and possibly a couple of more towel hooks in the bathroom. These are intended as suggestions and didn’t distract from our enjoyment.

Our room was large ,freshly decorated and very clean. It was quiet. The whole hotel has been renovated recently and is clean and smart. The location on the riverside is lovely yet a short walk along the river and across a footbridge to the city centre ( 10 mins). The surrounding area is residential. Staff are friendly and efficient. Free car parking to the rear.

Cooked items at breakfast were not warm enough. Access arrangements to the carpark are confusing as the hotel is at the end of a cul-de-sac with parking to the rear.. It can be difficult to turn into the road to the front of the hotel and is better to approach from a different road which brings you into the parking area. No problems once you are familiar with the system.

This was the perfect place to stay in Waterford for our two-night stopover. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, the bathroom very modern, and the bed and pillows comfy. The hotel was ideally located in that we could easily walk to the centre of the city, all the major tourist spots, and some lovely pubs and restaurants, but was just far enough away from everything to allow for quiet and peaceful nights for sleeping. The breakfast buffet had so much choice, and we enjoyed a delicious dinner at the on-site restaurant one night too.

Newly refurbished hotel so it was pristine. Great sized family room with three beds and sofa bed too. It was definitely no frills but very clean and modern - it had everything you needed. The communal areas were smart and clean. Staff were very pleasant. Good parking outside. Great location and quiet by the water.

Only issue was there was no air con in the family room and it was a hot afternoon. The room got very stuffy and being on the top floor, windows couldn't be opened too wide (plus wouldn't want the kids falling out!). There was a fan provided so we plugged it in and it helped a bit. Also, could do with a few more hooks for towels in the bathroom!

We liked this hotel when we stayed previously and it’s even better now since the refurb. The room was very comfortable and spacious with all the amenities that add a special touch. Including being able to borrow an umbrella! The bar is lovely and my husband assures me they pull a perfect pint of Guinness! We will definitely be staying when we return to Waterford.

Making the tea/coffee station more visible may make things slightly more convenient, as we only found it by chance when searching but that’s really not a complaint, more of a preference!

The hotel is undergoing a fabulous remodeling costing in the region of 3.5 million euros. The results are wonderful and this hotel, when finished, will be one of the top hotels in Waterford. Having breakfast overlooking the waterfront was delightful as was the view from our bedroom. Breakfast was really good with a huge range of Irish and continental offerings. Will definitely return as Waterford is a super city to explore and one day is not enough to fit in all the amazing cultural visitor experiences. Waterford Crystal, Churches, shops, bars, restaurants and cafes and so much more.

Lovely location next to the river. Our room looked out over this and watching the river ebb and flow plus interesting wildlife and activity on the river was an enjoyable extra. The location is also very quiet despite its handy location for the town. We picked this hotel because of the secure motorcycle parking provide which was free of charge and very well appreciated.

We didn't stay long enough to use the new area that was just refurnished and opening up the day after we left. It looked fabulous so will need to pop back.

The owners have undertaken a revitalization of an older property that sits on the river and provides a pleasant view. They continue to refurbish individual rooms after the pandemic. Our room was very well finished and furnished and the forthcoming restaurant and snug should be very fine if the same construction crews do the work. It is very well located to visit city attractions. There is secure, free parking that makes unloading and loading of baggage easy along with elevators to rooms.

It was our second time staying here and everything was great.the room was very tastefully done spotless clean,fantastic powershower,comfortable bed.We had dinner that evening in the hotel.Food was great and good value.lovely veiw from our room.This is an excellent hotel in an lovely location.Last but not least i have to say the staff here are great.From the moment we arrived to when we left ,the staff were so nice and friendly.

Newly decorated to a high standard a good choice of colour scheme throughout. Rooms very comfortable and clean comfortable beds etc. Food good and the newly refurbished restaurant is to a high standard staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Waterford. Restaurant manager so helpful explaining how passionate he was about what they had achieved over the last few months. Keep up the good work
