The location was really good and parking on the grounds. The building has a cool spray paint design. The rooms were really nice and well equiped. Huge shower with great water pressure

The double bed in the room was way too hard and me and my partner had a terrible sleep after hoping for a nice relaxed night away The bed could of done with a mattress top. The single bed in the room was way more comfortable. I would say maybe better windows to discard the noise from outside as there was alot from the delivery driver to the hotel and also cars beeping. Not much you can do about it but I would say better glass in the windows would help

I loved everything, but the one thing that stood out the most was the staff. The staff was extremely sweet and pleasant. At the reception desk, the staff was extremely welcoming and sweet. And we did have one issue in the room one of the table lamps on the night stand was broken and not working properly, however when we contacted the reception they responded immediately and came to try fix it and ended up replacing it. The staff was so understanding and welcoming the whole stay. The bedroom was also so much bigger than expected and extremely clean and comfortable. And the view from the 4th floor bedroom was just breath raking of the landscape and the mountains. I absolutely love the hotel, and 100% would come back. It's definitely worth it for the price.

The room was was not what I would call spacious, but it was certainly adequate - we have stayed in much smaller rooms in other hotels. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff was great. We didn't have breakfast, but we did have dinner and drinks, and everything was delicious. We also had a car, so we appreciated the free on site parking, although we had a very difficult time finding the parking, especially with the road construction going on nearby. However, once we called the hotel to ask how to get there, a very nice girl gave us excellent directions and it was easy to find.

Th only thing we would change about the room is that we wished it had a small refrigerator.

Big shout out to Martin at reception. He gave us a lovely welcome and we had a laugh with him checking in. His a credit to the hotel. He gave me a great first impression of the hotel. Bar was lovely and really airy. Food was delicious. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The family room was lovely wasn't to big but we managed. Beds very comfy and loved having the fan in the wardrobe as the room gets really warm.

Location of the hotel is OK but really dangerous crossing where it is. Families with small kids would want to be careful as its right on the road. Also the car park is tiny. Basically if you get a space your lucky. Breakfast on both mornings were fine. Except there's no fried eggs and we prefer fried. Also the sausages were burnt on one morning. Bar is very quiet and could do with a bit more life in it. Play better music even.

It was a right by everything. Very clean room and helpful staff. The room was big and cozy. Easy to find and good breakfast service. They have a lot of helpful services especially if you arrived later on in the night like we did. There was room service and little door hangers that would let staff know if you wanted your room cleaned or food brought in. Easy check in and check out. Planning to stay again early next year

No atmosphere in the bar and the glasses were a little dirty on the second night. There was a lovely pub a minute down the road so no fear. To make up for it though they had a great drink selection and good menu for the bar food

On arrival we were greeted by Iva and she was so pleasant and helpful it really starts your stay off to a great start. Room was clean, spacious with a beautiful bathroom. lifts to all the rooms. Breakfast was a buffet with all you could want to eat and it was delicious.

The room was quite noisy with all the traffic window didn’t keep the sound out so kept us awake. Stairs is in a bad place as you have to go through the restaurant to it so didn’t like that especially when guests are eating.

The hotel gave us a special welcome back to Waterford and paid every attention to our comfort. Reception staff are warm, friendly and helpful. The room was newly refurbished, clean and spacious aswell as quiet. The bathroom had a large walk in shower. The bar/ restaurant is very comfortably furnished and service most obliging. The location is convenient, just over the bridge and steps to the town centre. Overall we had a great stay at the Fitzwilton.

Breakfast was lovely, option of a full fry up, they had fruit and pastries too, juices, tea, coffee, toast etc. the ladies at reception were lovely, the people working in the bar and restaurant were very pleasant and it’s within walking distance to the centre of the city (5 minute walk). If you want to go further, there’s a bus station to go to different cities about 5 minutes away, and there’s bus stops to take you around waterford everywhere! The room was gorgeous, very tidy and spacious. Room service available until very late in the night and breakfast doesn’t finish at a ridiculously early time. Checkout wasn’t until 12pm so I got to go for breakfast at 10 and chill out for a while before I had to leave. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying here.

The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was that although it is quite close to the city, it’s on a quiet road that feels like the kind of place you wouldn’t want to be on your own - but even in the middle of the night as we returned from the pub we did not have any run ins with anybody that made us feel unsafe.

Our room was very spacious, large wide screen TV, lovely shower and roomy bathroom. Food was really tasty and portions just the right size. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Staff met us with a smile both in the dining room and reception. Really enjoyed out stay

Found the price a little high eventhough we couldn't complain for two nights was a little expensive.
