I had to call reception at 2am one morning to complain about the noise of a TV from the room next door, it was very loud, it too about 30 minutes for the night manager to wake the person up to switch off the TV. The streetlights were bright and shone through the gap in the curtains.

The hotel is extremely clean and well kept. Very unusual interior balconies. Staff are all pleasant, helpful and informative and fulfilled my requests for both rooms on a lower floor and beside one another. Room facilities suited our needs really well, especially the mini fridge, microwave and sofa in my parents' room. Spacious room, flooded with sunlight (thanks to the really large windows) and beautiful view of the sea and docking ferries. Very comfortable bed. Lift went to both reception/breakfast area and also the underground carpark which was a bonus when checking out. Ample breakfast items which were always fully stocked. I can wholeheartedly recommend the porridge. Easy walking distance to the main shopping area/beach.

It was absolutely fabulous having underground parking but the actual downward slope to the car park spaces is quite tight to navigate with a large vehicle. We had a Landrover Discovery Sport jeep and it took careful negotiation but it was manageable. The staff do alert you to the fact that the space is tight so it's your own choice whether or not to use the car park.

Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly & helpful eg getting times for steam train etc. also, the receptionists were exceptionally helpful, printing off our boarding passes & booking our taxi to the airport. The hotel is well positioned for getting around Douglas on foot.

My husband & I had dinner in the hotel on two night, my husband loved his dinner on both occasions. I loved my dinner the first night, (roast chicken) but unfortunately the second night I choose, chicken & leek pie, I was very disappointed as there were no leeks in sight nor did I like the flavours.

Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice of cereals, juices, pastries and hot food. Every member of staff we met was attentive and pleasant to interact with. The location is very convenient, within easy walking distance of the town centre, plus Douglas beach, bus and horse tram stops are just a few yards away on the esplanade. We had a partial sea view room, which was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Can't really ask for more.

Well I have stayed in the hotel about 4/5 visits now and the only problem I found was a personal one and it was the fact it has always been smoked bacon at Breakfast(I don't like it) but this visit the bacon was normal bacon so I was a happy man(Please keep it that way ha)

I never had 1 problem with the hotel the staff are always friendly and helpful and I will only ever stay there when I come over for the Darts Weekend or visiting Family.

Good location easy walk to TT paddock or to the Prom. Rooms that border the road can be a little noisy at times due to traffic lights right outside. Restaurant is nice and reasonably priced, and beer much colder than you generally find on the IOM. The pie I had for dinner was perhaps the best I have ever had with a wonderful gravy, so good! I needed an early check in to get some work done and the staff did their best to sort that for me.

A pool/gym would be nice but it is what it is.

The room was large and comfortable, and the facilities were good. All the staff without exception were very professional and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was good but disappointed for the class of hotel that the breakfast on the first morning was a buffet I expect a 4-star hotel to cook breakfast to order.

Very friendly and cooperative staff, good breakfast choices and quality, room and bed great, ample parking in the underground garage: comes with electric chargers too! You can see the Isle of Man Ferry from the bedroom window, and get to it in 5 minutes flat.

The dinner we had one evening was great, but if you order dessert you might have to wait a fair amount of time for it to arrive.
