The room was spacious and overlooked the sea front with amazing views of the bay ,very clean, well equipped ,shower was excellent, powerful with lots of hot water ,toiletries provided ,hairdryer provided.lifts to all floors .The breakfast was included in the price which was a buffet style ,which was great . Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you ,they had great knowledge of the island and were happy to help with anything . The location was great with a bus stop outside.,short walk to the electric railway and sea terminal .buses straight to the airport £2.70 .every 20 minutes . Great value for money . Would stay again .

Unfortunately, Under the hotel is a nightclub which came alive about 11 pm , the noise was pretty bad on the Friday night ,bump bump bump ,we were on the 3 rd floor .the staff were very apologetic and did everything to help even visiting the disco with the noise level thing . It is not the hotels fault , why would a licence be issued for a disco under a hotel where people are trying to sleep ?beyond me .the noise did stop at 1.30 when it closes , the next night didn’t seem too bad and we did sleep .

Good location. Big bedroom, Nice breakfast choice. Helpful and friendly staff.

We were on a corridor with 4 fire doors. When a whole group of guests were leaving early together on the Friday morning, one of the doors, when closing banged every time on its self closer. This woke me up at 5:45 and kept banging for the next hour as about 30 guests went down past our room for breakfast then, later, came back up and later still went back down for their coach. I mentioned it to the manager who promised to get the problem seen to. I think she probably has done so by now.

We stayed in The Chesterhouse over Easter weekend. The hotel is in a great location not far from the ferry terminal. It's on the front across from the promenade, which is a lovely walk. Check-in was quick and staff very friendly. There is a lift to all three floors. Our room was on the third floor and was lovely. There were three of us in the room. It had a double bed and two singles. There is plenty of room for us to move around and get ready. The beds were extremely comfortable. Tea and coffee were available in the room with biscuits. The bathroom was a very good size, too. All very clean and tidy. Breakfast was included in the price and was very nice with a good selection to choose from. Would recommend this

Nothing.

The location is very good for the ferry terminal - I would say approximately 10 minute walk maybe less. Excellent sea view from our 2 windows and the room was very clean as was the entire hotel. The shops are only a couple of minutes away and the local bus stop is outside the hotel! Very well located I'd say! Buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of choice including cereals, yogurt and fruit. Staff were all friendly, polite and helpful Most enjoyable stay

The hotel has a fabulous prime sea front location, and is within easy walking distance to and from the ferry and bus terminals. The shops , bars and food outlets are just a stroll away. Uninterrupted sea views are easily obtained from the hotel's many different areas. The restaurant & lounge are bright and comfortable , entertainment is also provided on various evenings, all in all the hotel was a very good choice.

Only stayed one night and had no issues with the facilities provided by the hotel

Booked this hotel for my parents when they visited the IOM for the Classic TT races! As soon as they got home they spoke about the breakfast choices being second to none! The location of the property was excellent too! Lovely staff who were very welcoming! The property exceed both our expectations in more ways than one! So glad we chose the Chesterhouse for their visit! Will definitely stay again if we/ they choose to return to the island!

The location of the property was fantastic right on the front overlooking Douglas bay, lovely views while having breakfast. The shower was powerful and hot with plenty of room. Iron ironing board and hairdryer all in the room.

The room we were in was at the back of the property overlooking a yard and kitchens, one night we heard drunken revellers and the kitchen fan could be heard. The tv. In the room is on the blink the picture would go off

Position of hotel. Food choices at breakfast and self-service arrangements. Helpful pleasant staff both in dining room and on reception. Seaview room with great shower. Large lounge for residents use.

Noise from downstairs nightclub (run separately from hotel) on weekend nights. Traffic noise at times. Evening meal choices sometimes limited when carvery not on.

Very nice room good powerful shower, single bed quite comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities. Good buffet breakfast. Decided not to eat dinner as it was too crowded and noisy with coach parties. A bit of a scramble at breakfast, too.

There was a bar in the basement and a pub next door which was open until 1am. There were tables outside. I couldn't sleep with the noise it was horrendous.
