Brilliant location for starters. Just a 5 minute walk down to the promenade. Great reception from Lou on arrival. She was great. Told us everything we needed to know and as it was our first time on the island gave us recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions. The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. Everything was exceptional. The breakfast was fantastic both the full English and the grilled kippers and scrambled eggs with tomato’s is a must. Again Lou was brilliant and asked us what time we would like breakfast rather than having a set time. Nice touch. Would definitely recommend Raymond’s for a place to stay when on the IOM. Will certainly return hopefully in the near future.

The hosts make this bed and breakfast an unforgettable experience. Breakfast is fresh cooked, expertly made, and the table is so welcoming and homey. Our trip was enriched significantly by following some of the suggestions offered and experiences to have. The room, house, vibe, all happy. A truly happy environment which was contagious to us. We left the house each morning after breakfast enlivened, energized and excited about the day ahead.

We didn’t like that our stay was only a week.

Nice quiet central location opposite public gardens. We stayed in the larger bedroom which was very spacious with large step in shower and Victorian style bath and view of the public gardens. The room had a large TV with Sky facility and free Wi-Fi. The bed was really comfy and we slept well. Plenty of wardrobe space if needed. Cooked breakfast was available with local Kippers as an option which I really enjoyed. There are only 2 guest rooms in this B and B so the shared dining table is a delightful way to meet your fellow guests whilst being looked after by your host Lou who will go the extra mile to meet your needs. This is a family home as well as a business and it was a delight to meet Lou’s husband Dan, her children and their cat Izzy. There are some great restaurants close by including Flavours Indian restaurant and Titan Restaurant both of which I highly recommend. There is limited ( 2 hours disc zone) on street parking ( Mon - Fri ) 8am - 6pm and Lou will give you a disc and help you manage your parking needs.

Booking.com advertises this accommodation as having a private bathroom whereas there is not a toilet in the room. Our toilet was a short walk away across the landing and down a few stairs and adjacent to the separate bathroom for use with the other guest room at the rear. Robes are provided for your convenience however visiting the WC during the night was a bit of a nuisance and worse for my wife who had a slight stomach upset.

Breakfast filled us up until supper! Good selection and could more or less have it when we wanted. The room was spacious and the shower has a high pressure. Quite neighbourhood. Very friendly hosts who tried really hard to make us welcome and our stay a success. It was! We bought cycles which we kept in the garage and were given keys to come and go as we pleased. There was plenty of parking out the front if we had bought a car. 12 minute walk to Noble park where the Parkrun is held each Saturday.

Guests need to be aware the toilet is separate from the room but we had sole use. The shower and bath were en-suite.

Dan and Lou were fabulous hosts and went above and beyond to make my parents feel welcome and attend to their needs. The rooms were lovely and the beds were comfortable and clean. They absolutely loved their stay and would highly recommend anyone staying here. Thank you so much :-)

Absolutely nothing! Everything was perfect

The bedroom was stunning, Ensuite with double sided bath, walk in shower, big enough for 2 people and worked perfectly. Sky T.V with a huge telly, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, perfect for a couple wanting a comfortable luxury room. Breakfast was delicious.

Toilet separate from room, only a problem of a night but it is literally outside the room.

Great location in Douglas, easy to get to from the ferry terminal, only a 5 min drive. A 10 min walk to the beach and restaurants nearby. A good base to explore all the island. Very friendly hosts. Room was cosy and a comfortable bed. The walk-in shower was lovely, so was the roll top bath, the toilet was just across the landing. Had a lovely veggie breakfast. All in all Raymonds was just the ticket.

Hosts Lou and Dan made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was comfortable and spacious with everything that you could need. Plenty of choice at breakfast which was cooked fresh by Lou. The hotel is in a good location, a short walk to the Promenade.

The breakfast was very good. Lou was a friendly host who gave us directions to the steam railway station told us about the Manx Museum and the best bar to watch the football . Our room was comfortable and loved the decor . Raymond's B&B was homely and we were made to feel like part of the family. And the cat Izzy was lovely too.

We were made very welcome with Lou going over and above to make sure we had everything we needed, we felt like we were staying with family! There was plenty of free parking in a very quiet neighbourhood. Breakfast was freshly cooked, fresh fruit was also available. There was a large TV with all channels and sky also the free WiFi was very good.
