Hilton Garden Inn Leiden

Everybody was very nice, great services, awesome breakfast. The room was big and quite, even though the highway was right next to the hotel. Parking with a lot of spots, at a very good price also (at least compared to other hotels). And in the lobby, they have a small shop with all the essentials (from snacks to toothbrush and phone chargers).

The room could have been a little more clean. The carpet had some chips or something on it and in the shower there were some spots of mold.

Great breakfast choice and chef will cook you eggs how you like them and he will do you an omelette with fillings of your choice. I like that there is a 24 hour shop for drinks and snacks and a fridge in the room to store them. We had our 6 year old son with us. I loved that there was a playground and also inside there was a children's corner with plenty of toys to keep them occupied so everyone is happy. You can relax and chat with a drink whilst your child/children are happy and safely playing. It is easy to get around Leiden and to and from this hotel by bus which is free for kids and just 2.5 euros per adult. If you wish to visit the museum next door you can get discounted tickets vis this hotel.

Although the breakfast is amazing the food you expect to be hot bacon, sausage, beans etc is actually cold. We had 2 evening meals here. The food is great but over priced. I guess this is to be expected though. My partner and I each had a tuna pizza and our son had a cheese burger with fries and an apple juice. This was 61 euros.

Great breakfast, nice staff, animal friendly (which is great), nice lobby. This hotel is like an oasis is a good thing.

Staff shortage hindering restaurant functioning Bathroom a bit tiny

Bed very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

The Hotel was location was not near any Restaurants and Bars. We had to get a taxi to go anywhere to eat and drink.

Location, it is too far from the center to walk, we took the bus both ways which worked just fine

Convenient location. Fantastic fresh breakfast with plenty of choice. Lots of parking space including garage. Friendly staff. 7km cycling lane from the beach.

We enjoyed our breakfasts there, the choice of food was really superb to suit any taste. Our room was quite big and spacious with a good view. All the staff were always very helpful and friendly.

We knew how far away from the centre this hotel is but did not realise that it was not within walking distance and how inaccessible it was by bus, especially at weekends. Our bed could have done with a mattress topper; it was quite hard. Also considering how big the room was it would have benefited from having one or two armchairs next to the small solitary coffee table by the window.
