Comfy room, good location for my weekend activities. Shower was powerful with great temperature and room was well ventilated. Ample parking.

Breakfast very basic for vegan hot breakfast, vegetarian sausages, beans and toast. Fruit supply needs to be increased. I was given an adjoining room, so I could hear my neighbours!! On 2 occasions my door would not open with the key card. The first time it was 1 am in the morning and it took 20 mins to get into my room, thought it was fixed but on returning from breakfast the next morning again I could not enter my room, so rather frustrating but staff were great.

It was so clean & welcoming, the Reception Staff were extremely helpful & our room was excellent. The bed/pillows/bedding were so comfortable & clean, the room itself & bathroom facilities were excellent. We were visiting to attend a family funeral so it was very helpful that this was something we didn’t need to have any concerns about. All the Staff we came in contact with were very courteous & professional & we liked there was an area by the dining room where we could meet with family & get drinks etc. The breakfast included in the price was extremely good & served early so we could get something to eat before we left & I do believe everything anyone could possibly want for breakfast was provided to an excellent standard. Wi-Fi was also included in the price of our room. We honestly could not fault our stay at Holiday Inn, Nuneaton & I’m sure we will be visiting again. Thank you to everyone for your excellent service. I also thought the complimentary good magazines were a very nice customer service touch.

Our stay was just a quick 1 night bed and breakfast. We had a warm welcome and because it was a hot night we were offered a fan (which we accepted). We stayed on the 2nd floor facing Starbucks. We had the usual bed and a sofa bed for 2 adults and 2 children. We all had a lovely nights sleep with no complaints. The main and bathroom were very clean and lots of towels for the 4 of us. The breakfast in the morning was a la cartè which is good for my family as we all like a different breakfast. All the food was warm and tasty. We would definitely recommend it to other friends and family.

I would of liked a hash brown with my breakfast.

Excellent location (plenty of eateries, soft play for kids, bowling, cinema) good breakfast (cooked, cereals, yoghurt, bread, fruit), room was good (plenty of room, tea/coffee, walk in shower), staff were fab and very friendly.

Needed hash browns on the breakfast! The hot drinks machine tasted awful. The coffee tasted burnt and the tea really didn't taste of tea. We did mention it and he said he'd look at it, but we'd finished by then. The mattress for us was far too soft. We both ended up with back ache after a couple of nights. I know it can't be helped, but when you're trying to have a lie in, it's not possible with the staff banging around in the container at 7am (our room was above the container). Even with the window shut it woke us up.

Although we only stayed one night on route to a family wedding we found the hotel was clean and staff were excellent. Beds were comfortable and for an express hotel the breakfast was acceptable. Ample free car parking but you must register your registration number at reception on arrival.

Although not the hotels fault, we didn't realise that it was as close to a dual carriageway. As we visited during the September 2023 mini heatwave and no air con or fans available it was not practical to have window open for air flow.

Upon entering the hotel reception area, we was met by a polite and welcoming member of staff who quickly and efficiently checked us into our hotel room answering any questions we had. After easily finding our hotel room using the delegated signs, we was pleased to see that the hotel room was clean, tidy, fresh and welcoming, perfect after a long day. We had no trouble sleeping in the hotel beds which are provided with two pillows, both of different comfort ratings. After our long day and relaxing night sleep we then had the hotel breakfast, to which we was pleasantly surprised with the selection still available, despite it being 15 minutes until closing.

I'm pleased to say that we found no improvements that could be made in this hotel. We was very happy with our stay. quick and easy.

The customer service at check in and during breakfast was right up there with the best we have ever had! I asked for a good luck message to be left in the room to make my son feel special, not only did they wish him luck when we checked in, they went the extra mile finding his football teams Badge and made him a poster and left some treats. We will definitely be using Holiday Inn again based on this experience. Travelling with my son, it also made us feel safe that you had to press the doorbell to enter - added security is so comforting.

IHG Holiday Inn Express what more is there to say

Disabled access room needs work to make it wheelchair friendly and useable. Not enough room at side of bed nearest to bathroom to get wheelchair near enough to bed. Not enough room at bottom of bed to get wheelchair past to access other side of bed. Bed too high, disabled person needed help to be lifted into bed. Bathroom hand basin too high and too close to toilet, needed extra grab rail to allow safe transfer to/from toilet. Shower head pointed water at floor not at person using shower chair. Drain in floor did not work, flooded bathroom took full overnight to drain away. Starting to look a little shabby in places.

Everything was perfect, we asked for a top floor room at the front of the building away from the noise of the dual carriageway which we experienced last year and was give a perfect room with a double bed as requested. The cleanliness of the whole building was exceptional as was the breakfast especially as I am a vegetarian and no problem at all having vegetarian sausages each day, All staff were very friendly and went over and above expectations. Definitely be going back next year.

We liked everything

The cooked breakfast was good. We would have liked it to have been hotter, with a little more choice, maybe porridge with a compote would be nice. Friendly staff, who were very helpful and extremely polite. Nice lounge to relax in for a quiet drink or coffee.

It was all good. Just a few ideas for future reference A set of drawers in the bedroom. A larger bathroom with a shelf space for personal toiletries and to place clean clothes on.
