Location is brilliant. I felt safe in the city. There is some homeless issues in San Francisco, but I did not feel unsafe at all. So you will see a few people, but this did not impact may stay. Price was brilliant, staff where great. I had to pay for early check in. I know others have been given this free, but I didn't mind paying as we where very early, so I thought they were really accommodating ! We where also given a nice welcome bag - which I was not expecting !!!!

Location is fantastic, just a block away to the famous SFO cable car. Check-in staff was warm, helpful & is available 24hrs. Room was clean & well equipped. Welcome kit (water, wine & snacks) was an add-on surprise! Secure entrance to hotel lobby, only key card accessible, helps keeps unwanted strangers out. Rental car pickups are a block away, hardly a 2-3mins walk. Will highly recommend to any tourist looking for a short & convenient stay.

Room was a bit small but excellent value for the price & location!

The Hotel had surprisingly modern décor and was attractive - after reading the reviews I was expecting something older. Our room was everything we wanted, with a fridge and a quiet, off the street location. The hotel is a block or two from Union Square and there's a Trader Joe's grocery store nearby. The bed was very comfortable with excellent quality sheets.

You could hear the guests in the room above walking around in the morning, which was enough to wake me up (light sleeper.) Next time I will ask for a top floor room. When we checked in for our 3 night stay, we were informed that there would be no linen service for us and that we could ask housekeeping if we needed anything. That's ok, I don't need new towels and sheets every day, but it would be nice if they emptied the garbage cans and vacuumed.

The welcome we received when we arrived, even though we arrived late at night coming from Los Angeles. Also loved the complimentary wine given to us for staying with them. The beds were very comfortable. We liked that we were reassured that our rental car would be in good hands under their valet service and they kept their word, even though initially I was contemplating parking at the parking garage a couple blocks down just to save a few dollars.

No microwave in the room, and the shower was smaller than expected. The prices for booking and valet parking, but I had a very comfortable stay so it was still worth every penny.

Great location and super handy to the Bart transport. Early check in fee waived which was greatly appreciated as we had come off a 12 hour flight. Although I did request a quiet room we were allocated a Spacious room facing the street, while we enjoyed the additional space we did find that this was somewhat noisy. Nice linen, bed a tad on the firm side. All hotel staff were welcoming and very helpful especially Kevin. Would definitely stay here again.

Bed was a wee bit firm for our liking so would have liked a topper pad on the mattress.

Great service and room. Didn't get round to drinking the free bottle of wine unfortunately but it was a nice touch.

Careful which way you walk out the hotel! If it smells of urine, you're in the tenderloin and you've gone the wrong way. But the location is great otherwise.

Charming extremely clean comfortable boutique hotel in a convenient location! Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable! Staff welcomed me and provided excellent customer service along with a welcome gift bag! They also monitored front door entry way!

The location is a block away from the BART Powell Street station. From there you can access BART and Muni. Plenty of buses on Market Street. There's also a cable car close by. Lots of food options in the area. They give you an orange bag with a bottle of wine and 2 snack bars when you check in gratis. I had a standard queen size bed room which was spacious enough. The room had a new AC unit which was easy to operate and kept the room comfy.

Hotel Abri is a lovely hotel and it's in a great location. We only stayed for one night and it was a really comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and we got a welcome back, with a complimentary bottle of wine, water and snacks which was a lovely surprise. It's in a perfect location for sight seeing and great for public transport as it's only a few minutes away from Powell street station.

Very good location and I also like the souvenir bag. The room was clean, I liked it has a fridge and the bed was very confortable.

I didn't like there's no microwave. The reception person told me is for security reason, which I understand, but having it would have make it the perfect room. Maybe having a common area for guests with microwave and some other kitchen stuff would be nice.
