Really great location , super cute boutique vibe. Reception/manager Linda very accommodating and helpful. New concept to me of all electronic access codes and no keys to all entry points but it worked and kept the place secure. Room 11 also had a small balcony which was great to see people on a lower terrace. Honor bar at reception which we didn't use , but looked to have a solid collection. Morning breakfast also reasonable to start the day. Finally the bathroom was fully renovated.

I guess to be expected but the room was very small, taken up by the bed, limited space for luggage so it was tight. Still enough room to hang clothes and for small safe and coffee area. Totally acceptable for a 1 or 2 nights stay.

I don't usually write reviews but this place was definitely memorable and noteworthy. I was lucky enough to stay here in its first week of opening, and my one-night stay was absolutely spectacular. The property is very thoughtfully and gorgeously designed, centrally located, and beautifully laid out. My room was excellent and super clean. The management and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and set in a room that felt like a charming cafe. Keyless entry to the building and room was an added bonus as you didn't have to carry anything on you.

The adjacent streets were quite busy and touristic, and there wasn't much of a view from my room.

Linda was an amazing host at Casa G.! Facilities and amenities are new and well maintained. The common area was decorated beautifully. Breakfast options are extremely generous with various fruits, cheeses, dry-cured hams, beverages, and pastries. This was our favorite stay through our honeymoon trip through Europe. We recommend contacting the hotel directly before booking if you have any questions concerning location or transportation! Linda will help you out with anything you need.

Since the roads in Florence are cobblestone, it may be slightly inconvenient to walk directly from the train station to the hotel even if the distance isn't far. We recommend taking a taxi to Casa G. if you're traveling with a large luggage!

The location of the hotel was perfect, just 5mins walk from the Domo. The Reception guy was amazing, so helpful, even down to the fact that I left some luggage at a garage and he arranged a taxi to pick it up and bring it to me at the airport - nothing was too much trouble - highly recommend. Also loved the flexibility of having an access code to come and go from the hotel as and when it suited you - the access codes on the main door, internal doors and bedroom doors made me feel very safe - not that Florence is an unsafe place :-) - would definately recommend

We really like the easy access into the facility. Felt very safe and secure yet easy to navigate. We loved the breakfast served and area/service and it was a great bonus that they provided café lattes, cappuccino's etc.. The rooms had nice finishing's, bed was comfortable and were clean. Central very walkable location.

The property policy is no food or drink in the hotel rooms or common areas besides breakfast. Would of been nice to at least be able to drink coffee in the rooms and maybe eat in the common areas. The windows did not have any screen protection so a lot of mosquitos got into our room after having the windows open for a few minutes. Overall though a great place to stay - would recommend.

The location is excellent, a short walk from Firenze SMN train station and church, and a few steps away from shopping places and restaurants. We did tours whose meet up points were either SMN or Montelungo Piazzale which were both a short walk away. The room itself was well-designed and modern and cozy. Very safe as well due to multiple security measures. Was v happy too that the staff prepped breakfast to go for us because we had early morning tours. Excellent!

This is such a quaint and beautifully styled hotel. So luxurious, it even smelled amazing! The location was perfect. Right in between the train station and the duomo, everything is within walking distance. Low touch staff but the gentleman who runs the reception was kind and smiley. Loved the use of codes rather than room keys! The communal lounge area was incredible! The honesty bar was a gorgeous touch. The perfect Florence stay

I was highly impressed with the attention to detail, interior design, cleanliness, and inviting yet calm spaces. The check in process was delightfully smooth, also the concierge at the reception. The location was optimal… located in the heart of the center, close vicinity to all landmarks, hidden gems and more. The soaps provided in the bathroom smelled great. Highly recommend for anyone yearning for an inviting environment, slick clean atmosphere, great interior design, and a at home sensation at a beautiful hotel, in a historic palazzo.

Loved our stay at this property. The staff were fantastic with regard to communication (thanks Andres and Linda!) and their restaurant recommendations were on point. Their communication made it really easy to check in after hours as well. The rooms were large, with plenty of space to spread out (much needed after our Rome and Cinque Terre accommodation) and it was wonderful to have a double vanity in the ensuite. It was a great location, central to everything and an easy stroll everywhere. Breakfast range was good and the quiches every morning were delicious. We’ll definitely be back.

First of all: The very pleasant communication before the stay. It was explained fool-proof, how to enter when the reception is closed, all potential questions were answered in these messages beforehand. You can feel that the owners love and believe in what they are doing. It felt like being a guest in your friends' house. What I liked most: The friendliness, the hospitality, the living room and the idea of the Honesty Bar - and the breakfast coffee.

The breakfast could be a little bit richer. Maybe some rolls or baguette. Or a "wanna" omelette would be great.
