The location is great, right in the centre of Florence, minutes away from the train station, Duomo and all the other sights. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They helped us book a taxi and recommended a nice place to eat for lunch.

Breakfast was basic and all the guests went up to get their food at the counter and the staff were standing behind the counter. Therefore, when a guest wanted to speak to the staff, they stood in front of the food. Firstly, this was inconvenient if other people wanted to get the food, and secondly, it was very unhygienic as no one was wearing masks and spitting onto the food...

The property is a fine building, old but seems to be well looked after. Breakfast was good, cereal, croissants and bread with some meat and cakes. For me breakfast is mainly about the coffee, and there was lots of coffee. Fresh fruit and yoghurt was also available, it was a good way to start the day. The breakfast employees were friendly and efficient. The hotel was quiet and the bed was lovely and comfortable. We had a small bath and a shower which was nice. There was a kettle and a fridge in the room so we were able to keep items cool. The air conditioning worked very well and was very quiet. The shutters on the windows kept the light out so no sleeping issues either. The reception team were friendly and chatty and made us feel welcome.

Location in the historical centre, close to the railway station and the major places of interest, friendly staff, charming vintage design concept with a great presence of interior pieces from the past, diverse common spaces, good choice of breakfast food.

The vintage concept was somewhat exxagerated; especially, in the equipment that one would prefer to work well instead of being a piece of past. The room and, especially, the bathroom design thus ballances between vintage and just run down. I would have prefered to have more power sockers than one that was occupied to connect the lamp near the bed; also, at least one hook for towels in the bathroom could be very appreciated.

The location of the hotel was great for us being close to several good restaurants and to the sights we wanted to see. The room was large with a terrace with a view of the top of the Duomo and the other big similar roof. We had asked for a walk in shower and it was big enough to turn around in. The breakfast was good, great coffee, croissants, cheese and ham, pastries, fruit, yogurt and cereal. The staff were all great and helped us with directions and recommendations.

The only thing was that the hot water kettle had a very short cord and there was no outlet near to it.

Location location location..... this is the main reason why we easily picked this hotel. It was very near the CIty Center of Florence, the Duomo of Florence Italy. And shops, tourist attractions, food and shopping are just an arms away...

If you are a fan of renaissance achitecture, this is just the hotel for you. However, if you are the type who gets easily creeped out by ancient, well maybe chose another. Just kidding..Though this hotel is really along the main street in the City center so its really very convenient. Id say location is really the best thing!

The hotel is quite large and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with big beautiful European-style windows and quite a spacious bathroom as well. The whole hotel was decorated beautifully and the breakfast was quite nice as well. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The Airconditioning in our room was temperamental and not very powerful so our room was quite warm at times. There’s also a lack of power plugs which made charging devices very difficult but staff provided us with a multi-plug adaptor on request.

Beautiful hotel with a strong Florentine feel, from the decor to the wonderful labyrinth of the interior layout. The staff were very friendly, and very patient with our attempts at Italian 😅 Great breakfast spread!

We only had a few days there, which was not nearly long enough to fully enjoy Florence 😥 The tendency of the shower head to change direction abruptly and unexpectedly was a bit unnerving, but entertaining if taken in the right spirit.

How incredibly close it was to everything. So close to train station. Close to the airport tram. Every attraction was within walking distance. Loved the style of rooms and hall ways gave almost like museum old decor but not dated. Reception staff were lovely and really helpful if we needed anything. Breakfast was included. Wifi was really good. Decent sized bathroom.

Breakfast croissant weren’t the freshest. Asked for ice and the machine was broken. So hopefully they get that fixed.

Comfortable,, elegant hotel, well located halfway between station and cathedral. Easy walking distance to all we wanted to see. Desk staff kindly found an alternative room for us so that we could check in early, also resolved an adaptor problem. Quiet rear room, comfortable despite small shower cubicle. Good range of choices for breakfast in a stately dining room. No problem leaving our bags there on our last day till we were ready to leave Florence.

Location was great! About 5 minute walk to the train station, 5 minute walk to the Duomo, and 10 minutes to the Galleria dell Accademia and Uffizi Gallery. The room and bathroom was very large compared to most European rooms. There is a small café with food and gelato a few doors down that was very convenient.

Our room was against an alleyway that was a little noisy at night. We had a white noise machine that helped drown it out. If you are a light sleeper it might wake you up.
