The location was excellent: very close to museums, Uffizi Gallery, shops and restaurants. The decor and amenities were very good. The staff was attentive, polite, friendly and helpful. Angela, one of the receptionists, was particularly helpful when I requested a room change.

Our original room was tiny with very limited wardrobe and storage space and hardly room to move around the bed. As we were staying for six nights I asked to change rooms. Unfortunately the much publicised roof top bar was up a steep flight of stairs which my husband was not able to manage so we were unable to use it, sadly.

Very central location, near to all the must-visit places as well as the cool neighborhoods. We arrived from Milan by train and the hotel was easily reachable by walk. Easy check-in and very helpful front desk stuffs. We were upgraded to a better room and the room was great with a view of the old town. Large bathroom with bathtub which was a bonus. Also took some private trips through them in the Tuscany region and the experience was amazing. All in all it was a great stay superb value for money. Highly recommended.

There is nothing that I can pinpoint. Maybe one thing I would like to mention here is that since it is located in the heart of the city center, there might be some chitchat noise or similar from the streets nearby. But it is negligible.

This hotel is superb. From the time you walk in until the time you leave you are pampered and well cared for. The reception desk and lobby are beautiful. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We stayed for 5 nights and hated to leave. Antonio came to the car and took the luggage. Check in took a minute and as we went to our room, the valet took away our car (one of the happiest moments of my life, having to navigate Florence with it’s zillion mopeds). We asked for suggestions for dining each night and each was spot on! The hotel is surrounded by cafes, osterias, trattorias and restaurants in addition to the restaurant in the hotel (try the Florentine Steak!). Come out the front door, turn to the left, the Duomo. Turn right, the river and Uffizi Museum. Into the plaza, turn left, and Cathedral Santa Croce. Being in the heart of Florence there were countless leather shops and gold (Ponte Vecchio 5 minutes away). The room was comfortable and we had a corner room so we had two large windows for natural light. There were wooden shutters on the inside of the room so the room could be made very dark and quiet. Church bells in square go off pretty early so we used the shutters. Make sure and have a drink on the rooftop bar at night, amazing view of Duomo. We are now in Rome, at a nice hotel but it isn’t the Cauvor. Go, stay

Nothing could be better

The location of the hotel cannot be beat, only 1 block away from the Duomo. We had a family room which was spacious, comfortable and even had a separate room for our daughter to sleep. The facilities are elegant, including the dining area. We opted for the buffet breakfast which had a great selection including gluten-free options. Finally the hotel was able to keep our luggage after checkout as our flight was not until later in the day. Great experience!

Wonderful location, delicious breakfast, amazing COLD air conditioning was truly the highlight of the stay as we were roasting during a heat wave. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The rooftop bar was one of the best memories from our trip. Delicious drinks, friendly staff, and view to die for. Do NOT hesitate to book this hotel.

nice roof top bar … cool secret bar … wonderful breakfast .. nice location … room was fine overall very good

noisy on the street at night making sleep challenging … staff made a few errors in terms of which of my rooms had breakfast included led to confusion in the morning even though I visited the desk a couple times to straighten it out .. left a 20 to have my bags moved to our room when the room was ready but this was not done and I had retrieve them myself

roof top bar was incredible breakfast had lots of choice and gluten free options decor was in keeping with Florence and was beautiful staff were friendly and really helpful. We could see there was a range of staff from a variety of backgrounds which made us smile, it’s great to see. parking was good and felt safe in Florence cleaning the room and giving fresh towels everyday was a nice touch

you advertise a secret bar but it’s not open you could only book an hour on the rooftop bar and it gets full so another bar would have been great you advertise a Turkish bath and relaxation room that doesn’t exist, we would have love to have gone please tell other people about how to park and instructions as it was quite a stressful arrival working out where to park

Love the location, the terrace bar, the concierge was very helpful, Alessio was cool too. Great staff and facilities. Room was good... and service was good too. I love how everything is so close to the hotel. And taxis are easy to get.

Our minibar did not work and the small button for the toilette did not work. minor details I am sure they will fix now that they know about them. The pillows for me are too small :) But that is so subjective. My. mom liked them. But I like bigger pillows...

The staff and location for sightseeing was brilliant. Very Clean well run hotel

The room was quite small but OK. We were on the 2nd floor and there was quite a lot of street noise. We had high expectations of the Roof top Bar after seeing the photos on the Website, but we're quite disappointed with the size, the website shows sunloungers but there were none and the area only opened at 6pm. The cheapest bottle if wine was €50!! Which was OK as a treat, the views of the Duomo were amazing with the sun going down.
