The location in the city center is fantastic, so close to all biggest attractions. Our room was marvelous, spacey with a painted wooden ceiling. Clean. Our breakfast was served directly to the room (local pastry, coffee, juice). Also the owners are very, very helpful and nice. Wifi is reliable. Quite quit. Very good value for our money.

There are two shared bathrooms. Especially during the evening and in the morning you can wait to use it. It may not be so comfortable. Some guest are "pigs", but this the owners cannot cover.

The room was amazing and clean, staff is very friendly, seems like a family. Floors are cleaned often. In the morning they gave amazing breakfast with croissants, coffee, juices and other bits. The rooms itself were quite. Apartment in heart of the city!!

It’s not a problem of apartment, but take in a account that because it’s city centre it’s very noisy in the night. So no early sleeping. Also when they wash the street it feels like the plane is landing 5 meters away. But again not blaming property.

The staff was so friendly. The double room with a private bathroom was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Breakfast was good, a pastry, coffee, juice, and melba toast with jam - it is eaten in your room (not great, but there is no space in the kitchen area)

The only complaint is the noise from indoors and outdoors. We were in room 6, which is next to the shared bathrooms - which was loud when other guests were going in and out. So, investing some money into soundproofing would really help. Noise from outside is unavoidable being so central, but the windows could be replaced.

Very nice budget accommodation with excellent access to all of Florence sites. It’s in the middle of the old city centre. Check in was very easy and also check out. As it is in the middle of the city it’s a bit noisy but there is a fan so you can close your window. Very nice and friendly owners and you get a little tray in your room for breakfast.

It would be good to add som Info regarding parking as isn’t possible to park close by. We found a parking garage about 15 minutes walk away from The B& B

This place was perfect! We had a ton of space in our room, good lighting everywhere, and a lot of plugs for my camera, laptop, and phone. Additionally, everyone that worked there was extremely friendly and they were consistently cleaning everything in the B&B plus the showers and bedrooms. The staff was very friendly, our room was cleaned daily, and the shared showers were always nice and clean. The location is absolutely incredible, I was blown away at how close we were to everything. You walk out of the place and your can see the Duomo. All of the cool piazzas, art exhibits, and other attractions are 10 min or less away. Our wifi was good, the water was warm, and the beds were comfy. I was worried because of the price of this place, but it held up and actually exceeded my expectations. If you are here to see Florence, explore the city, go out at night, and enjoy everything Florence has to offer I recommend this place. However, if you want something super upscale then I would recommend going elsewhere.

The breakfast was extremely subpar. However, you're in Florence, an amazing place with good food everywhere. We were able to find amazing breakfast less than a minute away and the bonus is you are supporting other businesses. The smell that I saw a lot of reviews on is only in the hallway before you get into the actual B&B. It sucks but its also an old city (Barcelona, Prague, and Budapest smell way worse) and it was not in the room or main area. The one complaint I could see is it would have been nice to have screens on the windows (especially if its hot). We ended up being fine as the weather was nice but bugs will come in.

this adorable bed & breakfast is perfect for those looking for an inexpensive room in a great location. we stayed at this B&B from Friday to Sunday and found it to be very charming with friendly staff a very helpful owner. the streets below the room were quite loud at night, which is to be expected when staying in the city center.

Great central location, good atmosphere, sufficient breakfast and nice owners. All was very clean. Breakfast was OK, check-inn process very handy. Short meeting with the owner was pleasant.

I would recommend the B&B to bit modernise the place. We had a 10inch TV sitting on a shaky broken table, the main light was super bright and not cozy. The bed was small and had some modifications applied to tackle the skewed floor. All in all, due to the vibe/atmosphere, we were not to much affected by it but it's a small effort to tackle those things. Also, the rooms are not soundproof at all. We were lucky it was a quiet night apart from some footsteps above us.

The „Il Gattopardo B&B“ in Florence is an ideal hotel to choose once you’re planning a vacation in the city. It’s very conveniently located near to the historic centre, many monuments are just around the corner (Piazza della Signoria, Uffizi or Il Duomo are only 4-5 minutes away). The hotel itself offers a very comfortable and pleasant stay, our room was truly commodious and contained an efficient climatisation, which was needed in the summer weather. We were also excited for the breakfast, which you could pick every morning in the kitchen from a variety of pastries - it was later brought up to our room by the owner of the hotel, with delicious coffee and juice included. There are also many food shops, bakeries and restaurants located close to the hotel. The owner was also very nice and she always accommodated us whenever we were in need of anything, such as leaving our bags at the hotel after our check-out on the last day of our trip. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay very much and can only recommend it to everyone who is thinking about spending his Florence trip in this particular hotel.

It is the best location - we loved that it was so close to the center we could pop by a few times in a day if we needed anything. Communication was also great, everything is very nice and clean! :) Staff was also super kind. Highly recommended - great price / value ratio

The B&B is exceptional located, less than 5 mins walking distance to most of the sightseeings. Bathroom and room are clean as well. The receptionist is very friendly.

It was loud outside because of a constration but it was not the hotel‘s fault.
