Location -Amazing, walk distance to all Significant places, Restaraunts nearby (one trattoria is located just nearby entrance to the property). note- there was regular live Music nearby (piazza san Marco)- For me it was a positive thing, for those who love Silence and goes sleep early that might be a bit disturbing. Also big advantage for these who is travelling with luggage is that property has elevator. Usually in historical city (and this place is not an exception) are extremely high ceilings and room on.2nd floor already becomes a huge challenge. Breakfast is quite simple (Coffee, croisants etc, boiled eggs, salami , cheese)- but i really savus your time and gives you energy to start exploring the city asap.

I would prefer soap and shampoo in dispanser, Than tinu packages with tiny daily soap doses.

Incredible location to the center of town. Clean and quiet room with nice facilities. Clean bathroom. Not super spacious, but plenty of room for two.

The location and the room were fantastic. But the rooftop was incredible. Such a great space to sit and enjoy the sites of Firenze. Would highly recommend!

This accomodation was everything we expected and more. Location was perfect - walking distance to the Duomo (which you can see from the rooftop) and other sights, but still relatively quiet for a busy city. Comfy bed, great shower and lovely staff who were more than happy to give us some recommendations. I also loved the inclusion of a bathrobe and slippers - these little touches made it that little bit more special.

The cushion for the outdoor lounge on the rooftop was missing. We were still able to sit up there and enjoy the incredible view, but it would have been more comfortable with the cushion. The lift to get up to the apartment was a very tight squeeze, but this is not the fault of the accommodation. We just used the stairs when we didn’t have our luggage :)

We knew that by arriving in Florence after 3pm that we would have to check-in at the main hotel reception around the corner from the Rezidenza. It's literally a two minute walk. Very helpful and friendly staff on the reception on check in - explaining the access to the apartment block. Remember the €5.50 per person per night "City Tax". This is normal in Italy. The FOC room safe is a nice touch. The Residenza reception is open between 8am and 15:00 on floor 2. Guests also have 24 hour access to a small kitchen area past the reception where there is a ' Free' coffee/hot chocolate/water machine and also a free fruit juices machine. All of these small free extras all make this a fantastic good quality value for money hotel. The standard double room was nice and does what it says on the box. Lots of wardrobe space - 10 hangers. Soap & shower gel etc in the en-suite bathroom. Nice strong shower. Towels and sheets changed every day. The hotel is ideally situated for the Il Duomo piazza/Square and other prominent tourist attraction areas. Lots & lots of cafes, restaurants, trattoria and bars etc close by. The Rezidenza is certainly good value for money, and my wife and I would 100% stay there again if we ever revisited Florence. The most important asset in any business are the people. The Rezidenza staff go above and beyond. Grazie.

Federica was exceptional. We did not have a good room, to be honest it was terrible (cleanliness, comfort, noise, bathroom hazards). However, I need to give credit where credit is due, Frederica approached us and asked what we thought. She immediately rectified the situation by providing us their best room and a bottle of wine as an apology and went out her way to offer any assistance. Therefore, due to Federica addressing our problem the stay went from terrible to very enjoyable. We loved the shower in the second room, we loved the rooftop terrace and we loved the location.

The first room was dirty, cramped, unhygienic, and unsafe. However, they moved us rooms to a much more enjoyable experience.

After reading the many good reviews in booking.com and at the same time the partly miserable reviews in Tripadvisor, I was curious what to expect. In short, we were very pleased. The 4th floor, the corridor, the kitchen located at the end of the corridor, as well as our room 424 were renovated a few years ago. The room has a shower with glass doors, which we consider a real comfort compared to a bathtub. In the bedroom we had a comfortable, modern double bed and a large sofa bed. Air conditioning, TV and fridge are also provided. The small lift, which is getting on in years, worked perfectly and without jerks. The receptionist and also the staff in the nearby hotel are very accommodating. When we arrived too early and the key was not ready, we were offered free drinks. There was also a pack of dark chocolate eggs in the room as a small welcome gift. The central location to the sights, the market and the restaurants is sensational. The hotel reception organised a taxi for our departure.

Of course there is always room for improvement. The toilet seat fastening needs to be repaired. The bathroom curtains should be washed or replaced. The oversized coffee machine in the kitchen should be removed because it consumes a lot of energy and heats the whole corridor. It also makes quite a lot of noise, only gives lukewarm brew and there was no milk in it either. An instruction manual for the air conditioner would be desirable. A little tip: Type in the temperature on the remote control, switch off the air conditioner via remote control and then switch it on again so that the entered change is applied. However, these are minor issues that did not impair our stay.

The front desk was so wonderful. We had asked for an upper floor room, and they gave us the top floor room that was beautiful! The bed was so comfortable and the room was decorated with classic elegant style! I have never seen a bathroom quite like this one- all marble with double headed rain showers and double sinks. Thankfully, the air conditioning was working perfectly and we slept so well. Thank You!! The rooftop patio was such a bonus! When it cooled off in the evening the stairs on the top floor lead you to a rooftop space with couches looking directly at the Duomo❤️

Such a great location, only 200m from the Galleria dell’accademia and 7 minutes from the Duomo on foot. It is located in a very nice neighborhood, very safe. Easy access; very clean, it is everything you really need

The pillows were too soft for me, you have two sets (which is amazing), but even the extra was kinda soft.
