A lovely place to stay. Clean, delightful rooms and wonderful staff who were friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to lake view rooms which was a pleasant and kind surprise and we really appreciated the (free) use of the SUPs and kayaks. Returning home, I realised I had forgotten something of mine at the hotel. The staff were communicative and helpful, immediately located the item and arranged for it to be couriered to me.

The only shame is that the sun is on the other side of the lake and Lezenno is cast in shade for most of the day. That’s obviously no fault of the hotel’s though.

I totally loved this place, it excedeed by expectations by far. The place is beautiful to the small detailed. The rooms are comfortable and so clean with all facilities, the breakfast is spectacular and is served in such a beautiful table, all staff is incredible helpful and nice. The restaurant food is amazing!! and all facilities in the hotel itself our in front of the lake are clean and in very good conditions. I would totally go back.

The only thing if I would say something when you walk from the boat stop, you have to walk on the street there is no sidewalk the road is very narrow so is a bit scary.

The whole environment: the view, the clean cosy room, the delicious restaurant, really nice staff, the fun server. The stay was really incredible, and even the location had both the ferry and bus stop. The set of soaps and shampoos had a really nice smell. The room was incredibly clean, beige walls and not a trace. Restaurant is recommended!!

The location was quite nice as it was close to the ferry and a bus station. But our vacation period was not during Como's summer season and on the weekend - commuting was quite difficult with the limited timings, which isn't the hotel's fault. Recommendation: either rent or take a car in Como if you have limited timing and want to see a lot!

We went to various restaurants in the lake district. Ironically, Hotel Villa Aurora had the best food in the entire area. But the best part was the fact the Hotel has it's own dock and restaurant. Boating excursions from this hotel were a breeze and easy to set up; as long as you call at least a day in advance. And a great place to stay, if you want to go for a quick swim or just sit around and sun bathe with a nice cold cocktail by your side. This place is truly a self contained slice of paradise. Truth be told, you never have to leave the place. It had everything we needed to make our vacation a great experience.

The location was perfect for us, it was quiet but well within reach of the other towns like Bellagio, and Varenna via bus and Ferry. The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout the entire stay! They helped us with the bus and ferry timetables so we knew where to go and how to get there, and check in/check out was a breeze. The hotel restaurant was absolutely fantastic so much so we went three times over four days, getting the lasagne twice! The amenities and services available were great, with the outdoor beach area a must on the lake, including all the water sport activities available. We had breakfast every day which was very enjoyable to say the least. A night we would have a couple drinks in the bar and even took a bottle of wine back to the balcony of our room.

Be prepared if you are driving for a somewhat difficult and interesting drive if you’re not used to it! However there is free parking on site!

We loved the facilities, the VIEW from our balcony, the ‘beach’ and water activities, the boat rental (and affordability). Was able to use the laundry facilities as well. The food at Aurora restaurant was fantastic. This hotel gave us the perfect Lake Como experience and charm and it was just magical. An authentic and quintessentially Italian room with quirk and charm but everything we needed.

Not too much, there isn’t a whole lot around the property however you have all you need on the doorstep. It can be loud from the hallway at night with people coming and going as it is an old building with creaky floorboards.

It is a family run quaint accom.. close enough to Bellagio to catch a bus in but far enough out of the chaos to retreat to the quiet. The restaurant on the water is beautifully located and the food is fabulous ( we ate here every night it was so good). We were allocated a front dining table every night without requesting .. Its a small but noticeable quirk by the Villa as The restaurant is very popular to locals and boat loads arrive to dine in. The swimming platform is the only one I saw in this whole stretch of the road. Water facilities are avail, and I believe free for guests (we didn’t require). The bar had a fabulous vibe on 2 of our nights, it was like a country pub. Bed and pillows comfortable. Breakfast, abundant and Fabulous !

1/2 our bedroom floor boards squeaked - annoying to us and the neighbours, especially during the night. The Villa Aurora street sign was left on all night and it’s right at balcony door height so our bedroom was alluminated all night, some block out curtains would be an easy fix. Bedroom walls are very thin. The road is between the Villa and the restaurant + lake .. so all traffic is close to the front of the building. I was very put off by this on arrival but by the next day I was in love with the place.

The best boutique family hotel in Italy I visited. They should have 10 rating - no doubts. The breakfast is simply amazing - plenty of different things to choose from. Pastries are delicious , the variety of nuts is amazing and possibility to prepare your freshly squeezed juice is just a cherry on the top. Kids did love the place - the trampoline, the play area in the breakfast room , the play area on the lake - wow ! Also being able to use a SUP at 6 am on a peaceful and silent like is an experience I will not forget. We also did use kayaks and boat rental and enjoyed it very much. Try their restaurant ! It’s really good ! 4 formaggi pizza is TDF ! Last but not least- the view from the room - incredible !!! Also the staff was always really sweet, smiley and helpful. Empty shower gel wasn’t refilled for duration of stay Uncomfortable pillows Vague recommendations from reception on restaurants outside of hotel for special event Saturday the dock and restaurant descended into chaos with locals/people renting use of decking for the day. Very loud and excessive use of alcohol, jumping off pontoon, smoking. Not child friendly (we have a one year old) ruined our last day. Over crowded and very different experience to the other days. A shame

Traditional Italian run Hotel. Clean rooms, beautiful location, top restaurant attached with very attentive staff.

Location. Although the facilities, including food, paddle boards, kayaks are all available, as well as water skiing, wakeboarding, boat hire at extra cost, there is not a lot around and walking is on single and half track road. Ferry and bus available which is good, and takes you to any other part of the Lake. it is just walking is none existent in safety.
