While our stay at Balbianino had many positives, a few drawbacks stood out: No Elevator: The lack of a lift due to the facility’s age made navigating with an 8-month-old challenging (we had lot of luggage and pramp - Kinderwagen). Loud Heating System: The heating system, though effective, was too noisy and affected our little one’s mood. Compact Shower: The shower space was a tad small for our comfort. Despite these issues, the overall experience was positive. We appreciate the attentive service and hope improvements can be made.

Fantastic location, Lenno is perfect for visiting Como, Bellagio, and Varenna. The property is a gentle 10min stroll to the ferry stop, really good gelati on the way and plenty of restaurants with various offerings within 10min circle. One story above entry level so not too many steps, parking manageable and safe, private room without too many neighbours, good lake views and breezes. Bonus - dishwasher and bigger than average under counter fridge. Photos online match the property.

If other guests are a bit heavy footed you might hear them. Otherwise really lovely property.

We rented the apartment that has a kitchen. We liked the flexibility of buying things from the groceries and cooking meals. We visited in October and the restaurant options were somewhat limiting. A lot of places don't open until evening when we were there. Location is very close to the ferry and quick access to nearby towns. Staff was quick to answer questions and assist us during our stay.

We visited end of October so the following may be because it's late in the season. 1. Not many restaurants, and most only open for dinner. 2. Ferry started late (9am) and ended quite early (just after 7pm).

We were welcomed by the receptionist Daniela. She was so sweet lovely and gave us plenty of time to go through our gorgeous clean apartment and even showed us where we could visit whilst we were there. One evening our electricity went out ( my fault as I had the washing machine and dishwasher on at the same time🙈🙈) we came back late that evening and we rang the owner as it was in the booklet to ring him after hours and he was going to come over to help us but we managed to sort it out over the phone. He was extremely helpful just like Daniela!!!

Absolutely nothing! Daniela was just superb! She makes your stay the best!!!! Her humour is hilarious!!

Everything!!! The hosts were super friendly and helpful, the hotel has enormous much charm with all the old features. Very very clean and tidy, we had the luxe rooms, they were amazing! So spacious, so clean, so much comfort, and again they have put so much into the details! We really felt at home! Clean towels and daily cleaning of the room. The bed was very comfy and the view of the lake amazing! So close to everything you need, the villa, shops, restaurants, boat rental, ferry and beach. The breakfast was very good too!! Homemade cakes, freshly cooked eggs and fresh cappuccino, wauw! Really recommend this place, we will definitely come back!

I felt most at home at this stay in the apartment. The apartment was beautifully decorated and cozy. It had a fully equipped kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out all of the time. It had a washing machine and clothing line which was very useful. The breakfast had great options, we are glad we opted to pay for it as it was well worth it. It’s only an 8 minute walk to the ferry stop to go visit other Lake Como cities. It’s also right near the Greenway del lago di Como trail and the entrance to Balbianello. I would definitely stay here if l came back to Lake Como.

Our every need and question was catered to by our wonderful hotelier, Debora, who would go out of her way to ensure our time staying in Lenno was time spent enjoying ourselves. The location is extremely central in "downtown" Lenno, adjacent to all the trattorias, ferries, boat rentals, scooter rentals and more importantly– lakeside. Would recommend for a pleasurable, no-headache stay meant to enjoy the sights and activities Lake Como has to offer.

Location was great, so close to the lake. Front of house were lovely and super helpful, and breakfast was nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Quite out of the way if you’re coming from Como as it is around a 45 minute drive, especially if arriving by train. A taxi was around €70 or the bus was close and accessible for much less. No lift so be mindful of luggage and accessibility. Room service left a little to be desired as crockery for inside room wasn’t replaced after use and they only change bedsheets once a week.

Balbianino is a very cozy place next to the lake in Lenno, it's calm and perfect for a relaxation. There was a beautiful view on the town of Bellagio from the windows of our rooms. Our host, Daniela was very kind and helpful. She speaks english very well too, so communication was fluent, actually we had very nice chats about where/how to go during our stay. She had great sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. :) The breakfast is made by our hosts every morning: delicious home-made muffins and cakes, fresh bread, and a nice variety of fruits. We enjoyed our breakfasts every morning with a coffee too. Our room was stylish and clean with a lot of light, a cute bath and a comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay here very much, it was a perfect place to stay for our trips. Villa del Balbianello is just around the hill,

We chose to stay near Villa Balbianello for our daughter’s wedding paying extra to secure parking Walking to Hotel Tremezzo was about 50 minutes and there’s only 1 taxi servicing the area. Great to be near the old town with a fab little patisserie up the road. Serviced daily and comfortable bed. Staff went out of their way to be helpful.

We were near the breakfast restaurant so there was some background noise in the morning and a radio played through the night. But overall, we loved our stay here.
