Buena Onda is a small, friendly, family run hotel which sets high standards of customer care. Nothing was too much trouble in helping me out while I was there (early room access; confirming taxi and suggesting an early breakfast on check out morning) . The hotel has been well designed and is very modern throughout and located in a quiet residential area. I was lucky enough to be in a rear top (third) floor suite with a large terrace balcony with distant views of the Lake. The bathroom and high-end shower were immaculate and the bed huge and comfortable. The air conditioning was more or less automatic coming on when patio doors were closed and off when they were open. The hotel is ideally situated for walking into Peschiera and for bus stops; the railway station ; for bars and restaurants and there are supermarkets close-by. The breakfasts are good and can be taken inside or outside. Like all of the other reviews I would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again if visiting Lake Garda.

Alessandra and her family really make you feel at home. Their hospitality gives you a true holiday feeling from the moment you arrive. The hotel is beautiful, cosy and clean. The breakfast is delicious. The pool has a whirlpool area and is very nice and refreshing. The location is perfect in a quiet area, close to Peschiera center, the train station and several bus lines (max.10 minutes walk) to Garda villages, Verona and the airport. If you want a relaxing and heartwarming sweet escape, this is the place to be. ❤️

Great hotel with a very friendly and helpful proprietor. Great location, about 10 minutes walk from the shore of lake Garda. Fabulous delicious breakfast good selection of bread and delicious home made cakes and biscuits. Although the bedroom was a little bit small the bed was very comfortable. Peaceful location in a residential area. Very clean modern and spacious bathroom. Swimming pool. Onsite parking. Will stay again Highly recommend.

Nothing to complain about. I just wish we had made a reservation sooner so we could have stayed a few more nights.

Friendly staff, always smiling. Our kids loved the cute dogs. We had a top floor suite for two adults and two children. It was was much bigger than expected, with two balconies AND an enormous terrace. Very nice little pool. Short walk to bus or train for visiting nearby towns. Great breakfast, with lots of choice, and good coffee. Tip: Sometimes the scrambled eggs at the buffet had meat, but if you prefer it without, they will make fresh scrambled eggs to order. We are vegetarian and had lovely fresh scrambled eggs each morning.

Everything was great. The location is a little outside the old town (just under 15 mins walk), so it might not suit people who are not used to walking. It was fine for us!

This appears to be a relatively new and modern hotel. It is relatively small which means that there is individual service. Such a warm welcome. Great that everyone spoke English as my Italian is very limited. Lovely rooms enough space for two people easily. We had a balcony. No view, but nice to sit outside. There is an external area for seating, there is also a small pool with sunbeds and parts in the shade or the sun. Overall really pleased. We were happy with the location but note that it is in a residential area and outside of the main walls of the town.

Nice pool with jacuzzi button (pool is bigger than the pictures look), loved babe the hotel dog, lots of outdoor seating some in sun some in shade, good breakfast choice, reasonable bar prices, clean throughout, rooms look newly renovated with aircon and good mini fridge, really friendly staff and great location.

Mattress was quite firm and the bed was very creaky. Bar food menu small and not loads of space around the pool but that is all, everything else was excellent.

Nice selection for breakfast, had a shaded outdoor patio, the rooms were a good size, and clean, easy walk from train station and into central part of town. Easy access to ferries. Staff was helpful. Pool area was nice and clean. Air conditioning was good. Had access to drinks in a fridge. This was one of our nicest rooms in a one month visit to Italy.

The lobby had a very sweet flowery smell, I think to cover smoking smells from the patio, so someone who cannot tolerate smells might have a issue with it. My only very small complaint was the coffee was from a machine.

Nice location, peaceful and within walking distance from the town centre. Amazing staff, this family run hotel has made us feel at home. Recently refurbished, rooms are top spec and very clean. Breakfast has a few nice choices and definitely an amazing food quality, especially the cakes. Breakfast staff has been happy to prepare us some special requests too.

Nothing, we had a perfect stay

The owners and family were very nice, friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. Aircon was a godsend!!! Breakfast buffet was very good with cooked food as well. Swimming pool a bit small but did the job of cooling you down. Location very good, 15minutes into town. We all enjoyed fussing the 2 dogs as we were missing our own.

The only downside was the bar shut at 9pm so there was nowhere to relax in the evening.

We loved this property. Everyone was very friendly. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Rooms and beds really comfortable. Breakfast was great. The location was ideal -quiet but a short walk to the centre of the town. We would recommend this hotel to others and will definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
