The Best Western Manager provided us with good travel tips. You could tell he was proud of his facility and the City of Portsmouth. Really appreciated the free parking -- a pretty rare thing for New England hotels/motels.

The facility could use some updating/improvements. The wallpaper in our bathroom was peeling and the sink drain was a bit clogged.

This was very convenient to the expressway. The room was very clean, and so quiet. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The shower was big! The pool was very nice. the people were very helpful and friendly. the Restaurant next door was convenient and priced reasonably. they held our luggage since we arrive too early.

The leather chairs in the atrium are cracked. It gives an impression the place is not well kept. Yet the rest of the hotel was far superior. Probably should replace those soon.

We loved our room and the option for two pools. I also used the laundry that they had on the property.

Not much just people smoking right by the entrance out to the pool with kiddos I really didn’t want them to pass through a huge smoke circle. it was 6-8 people all at once.

I believe we were upgraded a suite and it was gorgeous. Newly renovated, modern aesthetic, very clean, comfortable bed. It honestly wasn't what we expecting judging by the outside look of the hotel, but our room exceeded our expectations. We felt like we were in a 4 or 5 star hotel. It's also very close to all the towns I wanted like to visit on the Southern Maine Coast and Portsmouth. Staff was pleasant and polite.

The outside could use and upgrade to match what the rooms look like.

Room was spacious, clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable

The refrigerator in the room did not work, there were issues with a conditioner. It all got fixed on the second day of the stay. No room service anymore (COVID? no staff?).

Honestly the pool was disapointing . We chose Best Western for the pool for the grandkids. Hope the pool area is included in Corporate upgrades. But it was open and fairly clean. I’ve travelled a lot. If the staff is not using the pool that says something. Just my $.02.

Nothing everything was great

Indoor & outdoor pool area, very central location only took at most 15-20min to get to all the things we wanted to do in the area. Staff was all very friendly, restaurant next door was cute, good food and reasonably priced. Room had microwave and small fridge.

Pool areas could use some maintenance and updating, it seems like they may be in the process of doing so.

seamless check in, accessible to the highway, rooms very sound proof and the cleanliness was impeccable. loved the diner next door as well

I loved our stay. The suite was lovely. having a full kitchen was great! It was like staying in a one bedroom apartment.

The couch was very hard to sit on. The king bed could have had a pillow top that would have made it more comfy. Was a little disappointed the jacuzzi wasnt available to use.
