good location to train, park, market - place is giving you feeling of living in japanese traditional house - nice room (i own the room by myself for 1 night) - bed are big clean and private with personal light - room are just right size but there is big common space to keep or open and close big suitcase - laundry room & dry rack & dryer provided (extra charge) - hair dryer included in room - full kitchen equipment for cooking (refrigerator & basic cooking stuff provided ie oil seasoning sauce) - common area for eat & drink are big also with balcony - it also open as cafe during the day - stuff are flexible on checkin time please contact them in advance (my flight was delay)
- Shower room is small but as usually as japanese house (soap shapoo conditioner provided) and it on the same floor so convenience. - wall are thin can hear your next room or outside. - as common area is front of the room so you can here conversation even late night. - recommend to set up quiet time during night as i was trying to sleep. - my bed was soft but i prefer harder bed.

A friend recommended this hostel, and I was not disappointed. It has such a great atmosphere and the decor is so cute. My bed was huge! And the room was light and nice. I did wish there was more hooks and shelves for storage in the room. The area is pretty nice, and public transport is close by.
You could hear EVERYTHING that went on outside the room. With the common area/kitchen out there, it meant people were hanging out in the evening.

It's got really good energy and you can tell it's a family business run with love. The bed and the private bath were clean, spacious, comfy. The shared kitchen amenities and free coffee/tea were great and lots of stuff to cook and eat with. So many shared spaced intricately decorated and lots of curious objects and books to inspect. It was a great atmosphere, the location is triangulated by three nearby metro stations, and lots of shops, combini, and restaurants nearby. Overall the place was quiet and tidy despite it being a hostel and I didn't even have to see the host at check-in or check-out as we did everything over the phone from a landline I found when I got there, which made everything feel very smooth and easy. Would definitely stay again.
I wish the curtains were darker as the light always hurt me up in the morning and I didn't have a choice. This bothered me especially because I have light sensitivity issues.

I stayed in the 4-person dorm, but really, it was more like two 2-people room connected by a shared wall, with a small curtained passage. There were two showers and limited bathrooms, but there was no wait time. The hostel is very close to the subway lines, but it is apparently near the red-light district. I didn't find it unsafe and would probably stay again as it is good value, but this may be something to consider. The staff/host were extremely nice.

The host was very nice, and the interior of the hostel itself is pretty unique! I liked that it was a bit crazy in the common areas, but very reserved in the rooms. The room itself didn’t even feel like hostel, more like your private room, which I liked a lot too.
They have some weird thing about hot water in the shower: that it takes about 5 min before it gets warm. I did everything it said on the announcement in the bathroom, but never got it (took shower 2 times during my stay). So, I just washed with lukewarm water. Not sure what I was doing wrong :(

The vibe was really cozy. 😊I liked it a lot. Very relaxed. I could put my bike outside and, at night, the gate is locked which is great for peace of mind. The owner is friendly and let me stay another night. The room is was also very cozy, very homily which is what I prefer compared to sterile perfection in hotels. Overall great place. (🚲Also I survived the journey to the campsite⛺, there has been no snow❄ so far but thank you for warning me 😀🚲)
The shower door was a bit difficult to move but it's a minor thing and not a big deal.

Everything about this place. The atmosphere was very soothing. The location was close to Kobe Station and easy enough to get to Shin-Kobe Station from here. I felt the room was big enough for me and the other person sometimes residing there.
Nothing really. Maybe the staircase leading up to the building, but I knew about that before booking.

Relaxed, at-home place: kind of dark hallways and stairways due to building layout, but adds charm, along with mosaics and tiled details. Our Japanese-style room was ample and comfortable. My three kids (under 7) felt at home in the living area/play area. As a result I couldn't get them out for more adventures that night, but it was good to relax. Also helpful to have use of kid-sized toilet, too! Good location near local shops and park. Local flair and busy area, but not very crowded when we stayed (July '22). Staff left us to ourselves, which I don't mind at all. Suits independent travellers/families.
Overall a good stay! Would have been nice to have seen more trash/gomi separation though!!! Such a waste putting all in burnables. Paper, tetra packs/cartons and clean plastic are very doable... Especially for residents of Japan.

The location was relatively good but was a bit of a walk from the places I wanted to go. However, this was not an issue as I love walking and there were plenty of other places to visit nearby too. The staff were lovely and the vibes were great!
There was a moment when someone banged on the door which wasn't fun and I was quite unsure how to access the hostel!

The hostel is very beautiful and cozy with artistic interior design. I really enjoyed my stay here even if I didn’t get to meet the host. (Everything was arranged on the phone) The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was super comfy and I would have loved to stay here longer!
