The place was located in a residencial area, there wasn't much to do near, but it was really nice to walk around, felt very local. It had great connection to bus and metro lines and it was within a 20 minutes walk to the Nishiki market. The bedroom was spacious to walk around even with 4 big luggages and the beds were comfortable. Nice bathroom with tube included. The place was clean and silent, and the price was amazing. The best place for the cheapest in our Japan trip.

The staff was pretty much inexistent. One person showed up at the front desk the minute we arrived to assit with the check in process, and dissapeared the second he gave us the key, no indication on were the room was (there were two towers and we first went to wrong one), we also couldn't ask him anything about what to do around the hotel, or any other recommendation.

Location is near bus & train station, the area is also quite with a nearby convenient store. And the hotel is small, so you won’t expect a lot of guest and doesn’t get crowded at the lobby.

The room has no full length mirror, kinda inconvenient if your a girl who likes to check your outfit before going out 😂. Some area in my room wasn’t also completely cleaned, unfortunately those would be normally unnoticed, but since im petite i get to easily see hidden corners with my height.

very clean, it seems to be a new place - that's the most important for me. No key needed just a password, what actually was very convenient. Perfect space if you plan to be sightseeing whole day and want to have a comfortable space to rest and sleep.

trash bin should be bigger or empty more often, especially that there is no breakfast so many people eat in their rooms and need to store trash somewhere. Additional plus would be if there would be always somebody at the reception desk.

Excellent value for money. Cheaper than many competitor hotels but still of very high quality. Nice, spacious room with clean ensuite bathroom. Good location, roughly 10 minutes' walk to local metro stations or bus stops. Plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby.

Minor points only, as this was an excellent stay. Laundry facilities were good but had to be paid for.

Excellent value for money. Good washer/dryer for 500 yen (btw, it's free at some other M's hotels) Good location close to the Gojo metro station Very standardized room, it's simple but has everything you may need, and everything works well.

It was close to 0 degrees outside, and the single-layer window was freezing. I could feel the cold entering the room from the window. It requires to turn on the A/C, which works well, but it's doesn't feel right to burn a lot of electricity just because the windows are of poor quality.

The property is situated 6-10mins away from Kyoto Train station and there is a Mini Stop supermarket nearby. The room space is quite decent for two. Basic neccesities were provided upon self check-in. However, Its not recommended to walk going to tourist spots e.g. Nijo Castle, Gion area.

Self check-in was initially quite challenging :) but the self check-out was a breeze.

Good location only one stop from Kyoto station and only a couple of minutes from from Gojon station. The room was well appointed and comfortable and the fridge and kettle were an added bonus as there was no breakfast, however there was a mini mart on the corner which was handy. We were also able to store our luggage before check in and after check out which was extremely helpful.

Self service check in would have been difficult if there didn't just happen to be someone on reception when we arrived - a little complicated.

The room was extremely well equipped given the price. It was spacious, had a desk and a large and comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very good. I did not expect so much comfort. However, I want to highlight the service. Check-in and check-out are automated, but there was a lady helping with check-in in a very friendly way (sometimes Japanese formality is a bit frightening to me, but this was definitely not the case here). Maybe the best check-in service this time in Japan.

I nearly missed check-out because it wasn't clearly indicated what to do. The hotel has no keys or cards, only codes to open doors, so there wasn't the usual drop-key-here box.

fantastic location, pretty central to the city so many different landmarks were never more than say 45 minutes away by public transportation.

there wasn’t much of a staff presence at the front desk. it just had a telephone there in case you need to ring someone. some may enjoy this though, since every aspect of check in was self managed and digital. it would’ve been nice to be able to ask someone’s opinion on the best way to travel sometimes.

The bathroom was nice, a bit small but extremely clean and easy to use, the bed was also nice

The location isn't the best(it's close to the station but not to the temples and it takes a while to reach nishiki market)and the check out was a bit confusing.
