The staff was SO welcoming and helpful, the room was cleaned every single day. We also appreciated the environmentally friendly efforts. The hotel also offers multiple utilities like the laundry room (an extra one exclusively for women) and hot baths. It is perfectly located, just a 13 min walk from the Nishiki Market. Honestly we stayed for a whole week and it really felt like home, we would definitely book this hotel again.

Its the second time I stayed as a guest in Keion Prelia Hotel. The rooms are comfortable, big, well equipped, comfortable beds, very clean and there's a large bath. The hotel's stuff are helpful and attending. The location is quite good and in the center, in a safe neighborhood, and placed about 7 minutes walk to the closest subway station and same for the bus station. The breakfast is nice and there is a public bath for the guests.

The location is just a little far from the subway and bus, so it requires about 6-10 minutes walk. The breakfast is nice but I think it could get better.

The location of this hotel is nice, with easy access to buses, which is the most convenient way to explore Kyoto. Although we initially took the metro to the hotel, we later discovered a bus stop right next to the hotel. If you have large luggage, taking the bus from Kyoto Station is recommended. The hotel reception offers Kyoto city bus one-day passes, making it convenient for travelers to explore the city. Even though we arrived before check-in time, the staff was accommodating and kept our luggage at the reception until we returned from sightseeing. The room had the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay, including the convenience of a downstairs convenience store where we could purchase snacks. We enjoyed being able to make instant noodles and watch Naruto together in bed while sipping from their L-sized heatproof keep-cup. If you are planning to visit the hot springs, their indoor public bath is quite spacious and well-maintained, featuring a single pool. Female visitors have access with a password for added security which is thoughtful.

Hotel location is walking distance to some attractions around Kyoto. Close to at least two stations. Room very clean. Staff very helpful. Onsen is great! Can get crowded, but not often. I like that there are towels already at the bath. Breakfast is nicely varied. Curry in the morning is interesting.

We got the room with the king bed, but room is so narrow, that it's difficult to navigate at the foot of the bed. No room for more than one large luggage, without some creative rearranging.

Nice hotel, helpfull staff, 20 min walk from train station, not far from subway, but bit far from sightseeing spots, if you don't want to walk, nice restauraunts near by - sushi kaiseki kozuki - great evening spent there. It was overall good experience - but lacks a little personal touch.

Breakfast - big disapointment - every day same option - someone may like it, but I am not kari person in the morning, and if you don't like kari, than you can choose from toust, pizza toust or croissant, or yogurt, or pudding - that's it

Beautiful decor and relaxing vibe. It was the comfiest bed and biggest bathroom I've seen in Japan. Staff were incredibly courteous, going above and beyond. Walkable from Kyoto train station and popular tourist spots. Loved the environmentally conscious focus of some aspects.

Minor niggles: Roku/Chromecast ability on TV so that we can watch films/TV/YT in our own language, hooks to hand coats, shelf for clothes and complimentary coffee.

The proximity to the subway and with walking distance to many attraction; meanwhile it’s not exactly at the busiest Kyoto station. So I can enjoy the proximity and quietness. The breakfast is not very much in variety but I like it full of vegetables which we don’t have dining outside. The WiFi is perfect. Will definitely come back again.

The public bath time is too short in the morning.

We had a great stay at Keio Prelia! The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Our room was great - cleaned daily, pyjamas and flip flops provided, and the shower in the ensuite bathroom was fantastic. The hotel location is excellent, approximately a 15 minute walk from Kyoto station, which provides easy access to sights around the city and further afield (Nara, Mt. Yoshino etc.) by train, metro and bus.

Hotel looks and feels new, nice Japanese garden and decor incorporated thru out the hotel. Location is on the major street to Kyoto JR Sta, and within walking distance. If you use metro/local bus, it's even closer. Room is nice and feels larger than most typical hotel room. Bath has rain and vertical shower, and onsen is nice too after a tiring day. Would love to return to Kyoto and stay here again.
