What an amazing hotel. We spent almost 2 weeks here and there's nothing to complain about. The room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable and on top it was very clean. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and does everything to make your trip unforgettable. You'll get along with English as well. The location of the hotel is perfect, there are a lot of great restaurants around and it's ideal to travel to some dreamy sights of Kyoto. I cannot recommend enough staying in this hotel. We tried the Japanese Breakfast and liked it very much. The washing machines on 1F are easy to use.

It's a pity the hotel doesn't have a rooftop, but you can't have everything.

we stayed for 1 week for 24368 yen, in a spacious room, from 1st to 8th august. The location: less than 5 minutes walk from the metro station, and very close to some bus stops with dozens of lines passing by. Close to typical bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Reception staff: poor English but very kind. Floor Staff: Although I don't know them personally, they are honest people. I made a mistake by leaving the safe open with all the contents and when I returned, nothing was missing. Clean and spacious room

The hotel was tucked away into a quiet area of Kyoto but still easily accessible to public transportation and various shopping and eating areas by foot. The communal dining area is a great spot to hang out in, especially after bringing back snacks from the convenience stores. The staff were incredibly helpful. We asked about luggage forwarding, and they were able to take care of it quickly by filling out the forms and calling our next hotel.

The rooms are a little small, not much space to store big luggage, but it's pretty standard for Japanese hotels. There's not a ton of things to do in the immediate area around the hotel at night.

Wonderful staff who are genuinely friendly and care about your comfort. They spoke English and Chinese well. I loved how spacious, clean and comfortable the bathrooms were. Amenities were all provided and I lacked nothing. Very nice lounge area and beautiful minimalist Japanese decor throughout. The location is in some quiet back streets so you can rest well at night, yet there are many eateries and transit options nearby, and tourist hotspots are within walking distance. I would stay here again.

You can't open the windows, and sound travels a bit in this hotel so you can sometimes hear flushing, walking, etc. However, this was not a problem for me as the other guests kept normal hours and were respectful. I am a light sleeper, so this should not be an issue for most.

I came for two nights to see friends and just needed somewhere to rest my head, so I choose somewhere quite central and reasonably priced. Coincidentally, the hotel is located just 10 minutes by foot away from my friend's house. My room was a bit small, but it came with a nice-sized bath tub and queen-sized bed. It was very quiet throughout the day, and I was very pleased to be provided with a fresh sleeping gown to sleep in at night. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic to help. The breakfast was unexpectedly sumptuous for the price; a traditional Japanese breakfast including the continental western-style buffet. Exceeded my expected in quite wonderful ways.

The rooms were a little small, but no other weaknesses.

Nice hotel, few mins walk distance from karasuma station and Nishiki market. Lot of places to eat nearby.

The room was very small, we struggled to open our luggages! The bathroom is nice but perhaps too big, I would have preferred more space in the room. There is a buffet breakfast but the choice is very limited and everyday is the same

The breakfast was great and it changed every morning which is really a great plus when you are staying in hotels for several weeks. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very big and comortable. I was on the last floor, did not have any noise in the room, slept like a baby. Great location, I went almost everywhere on foot, especially for going out in the evening.

The room size is just a bit small for one person, I did not have a lot of luggage, so it did not bother me. But there are no wardrobes and it is difficult to organise if you're staying more than couple of days. Maybe two person rooms are bigger.

Located in a quiet area just 10 minutes from Nishiki Market. Excellent staff 10/10 friendly and helpful! Lovely Japanese breakfast is available. The room itself is big enough for tall people, there is a bath which is quite big as well. Bus and subway tickets can be bought at the reception and you get a map of all stops. You can store your luggage before checking in and after checking out.

Nothing.

Everything, the location, the room, the staff, the cleanliness. The staff went above and beyond to help us with directions, reservations and anything that we needed. The room was lovely and they supplied coffee downstairs and pjs in the room.
