The breakfast was an excellent western style breakfast. Beautifully presented and well worth the 2000 yen. Our only suggestion for breakfast would be some variety as we stayed 3 nights and each morning except for a hard boiled egg instead of an omelet was the only difference. We stayed in the deluxe double bedroom on the second floor 207 We loved the design quality of the room, exceptionally comfortable, high quality and all the amenities were high class. Wish we had more time to explore all the art and art books. The staff were very helpful.

People just need to be aware that the room we were in looks into a wall..albeit a lovely wall and the other windows have opaque glass. However the beauty of the room, the variety of beautiful artificial lighting and the size makes up for this. We also had dinner one night and although beautifully presented we were disappointed. It could have been our selection but all of the dishes were very rich and steeped in butter or oil. Surprising to us being in Japan as the meals are usually quite light even if they are Italian dishes.

The hotel was very aesthetically pleasing. The staff was very nice and helpful, both in terms of holding our luggage as we arrived earlier and calling us a taxi on our last day and helping us get to Kyoto Station. The food and welcome drink were very good. The room was tidy and reasonably sized. The amenities were very good. The location was also very good.

Staff were super friendly, very kind and helpful. Also remembered requests and followed through with everything. Beds and rooms were very comfortable and really enjoyed my stay. I would come back again.

Slight smell coming through the bar at times, but can’t be helped I guess, had the same thing at another place in Kyoto.

node is a beautiful boutique hotel with clean interior design. It will be a joy for everyone who likes aesthetic things. The hotel bar and restaurant serve impeccable drinks and food. The staff has been nothing but amazing to us and left us with nothing to wish. If we return to Kyoto, we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful room and plenty of space. The bathroom was lovely. And the location was great - walking distance to bus lines and stations and the neighbourhood was nice
