Great hotel in a great location. The hotel was exceptionally clean and in an amazing location. The street right behind the hotel has many good restaurants to try. The public bath was very nice. The Japanese breakfast was a great value. The staff were also all very friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a great hotel at this price.

They charged extra for the buffet for a child and added an accommodation tax. It would be nice to mention this on Booking.com and charge those fees there. The temperature of the public bath must be kept cooler for the type of bubbles it has. I would prefer if it were hotter and didn't have the bubbles. Fruit for breakfast also would have been nice, but at this price it was okay. Note that the breakfast is Japanese. I've seen some complaints about the lack of western food, but this is Japan after all.

For a budget brand hotel this hotel was actually surprisingly well above my expectations. The rooms were clean and air was cool for us. We really enjoyed the extra amenities the hotel offered such as the onsite public baths, we used them daily after walking a lot it was necessary. The breakfast that was offered was relatively affordable and had lots of options and occasionally rotated, they had a matcha smoothie every morning which was delicious and I actually miss it. The other great thing was we were very close to a outdoor market in Kyoto and visited everyday and had a lot of fun there.

I guess the view was not great? I understand why as it was a small hotel in city, but the view was a brick wall lol!

Location good and walk distance to Shio station, Nishiki market, sidestreets eateries & major brands shops. Beds comfortable, room clean, toiletries provided. Front desk staff are very helpful, polite, patient and friendly. Good stay recommendation

Rooms are small, and we had an open wardrobe. Can hear some sound from the eateries nearby, but not terribly noisy. There are windows but no view

it's a very conveniently located business hotel, with perfect access to public transport and restaurants and attractions in the city centre; staff was very friendly and helpful; the room was as expected - not very spacious (don't bring a large suitcase) but clean and even equipped with a small table and easy chair

Very clean. The staffs are very nice. Location is good around 4 mins walk from the bus stop and 6 mins walk to subways. There is Lawson near by, you can't miss it. PLUS, the small alley behind the hotel is very charming during the night time, what a hidden gem.

Easy to locate from Shijo station exit 24 walking distance 6mins and Nishiki street market is along the same street just cross the main road. Bedsheets and towels are clean. Lockers to store our lauggage after check out.

The pillow is too hard and flat .

It worth the price and had relaxing time in public bath. Room was big enough for 2 people and it was clean. Also male staff who helped us check-in was so kind and nice. I don’t remember his name but it was evening on january 8th.

It was a nice clean hotel with a good price. Enjoyed my time there and it was close to the metro and to restaurants. Room size same as other places in Japan.

It is a nice, very clean hotel very well located in Kyoto. Comfortable beds, good facilities in the bathroom and a quiet room. The staff are very helpful.

I did not find a way to open the windows, and the room was a bit dark.

Good location where you can take bus/train easily. Convenience store just around the corner. Free drinks started from late noon till midnight.

No free breakfast like other branches offered.
