Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great and a short walk from Kyoto station. I liked that there were additional supplies provided at the reception for the duration of the stay. The foot patches were very useful for recovery after a long day of walking. We used the luggage transfer service and really appreciated them for placing our big bags in the room directly which avoided us having to take it upstairs while managing our toddler.

The railing on the balcony was broken and it had a dump of things, so was unusable. I had to pay extra for housekeeping for 3 days which I was hoping to be included in the price. Instructions on using the AC remote were unclear.

Queen room was perfectly sized and well laid out for me as a solo traveler - plenty of room to leave a suitcase and a backpack open, nice sized fridge, good desk, great bed with places to put a phone and water at hand, and a small but very functional bathroom. The room was very quiet, and it seemed like there were only 4 rooms to each floor, so not a ton of traffic coming and going. The laundry room was conveniently on my floor, and there was a water dispensing machine a few floors up. Everything was extremely clean and modern, and the staff I interacted with were all very kind. Fantastic location, extremely easy to walk to Kyoto Station and convenient to lots of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was amazing. The big room size and free amenities of the hotel were excellent. Surprised me as I was expecting Japanese hotels usually come around smaller. The room looks like a Japanese traditional zen type style. I have OCD and the hotel met my cleaning standards. We were also very close to Kyoto station. I would definitely book again with this hotel.

I think the staff would benefit from further training or a different recruitment process. We did expect that there would be a language barrier. However, they didn't seem to know much about the area when I asked some local questions that I assumed would be common knowledge even when using a translating app. Even asking for coffee bags (free from reception) turned into an awkward ordeal for all involved. But they were all very lovely to deal with attitude wise. Also when you go to Kyoto, you will need to pay for Kyoto city tourism tax on top of the quoted price on booking.com. It's like 200yen a night per guest.

Amazing location - less than 10 minutes from Kyoto station's main (central) exit. The staff were friendly and helpful - Japanese, Chinese and English are all okay. The room is small but well-equipped and clean. The toiletry bar in the lobby is very helpful! There were the usual products like shampoo and various products for hair treatment, and also the very cute Japanese style hair accessory and 休足時間 to help relieve muscle pain from walking!

The walls are quite thin. We could hear our neighbours talking and their morning alarm. There is minor dust buildup in small places in the bathroom.

The hotel is quite small, so getting around is very easy. never a long wait for the elevator. We stayed in 2 different style rooms. the second room was a king room, with king bed, a dining space with traditional tatami flooring and low table and chairs. very nice. The bathroom was great. Bath, Rainfall shower as well as a handheld shower. really nice.

The king room could do with a single lounge chair if you are not wanting to go to bed yet. The tatami room was nice but not a place to relax. The Washing/Drying machine doesn't dry very well. it took 3 further "extra drys" to get close. in the end, i just hung clothes around the room to finish drying.

The biggest bed (160 cm) we've had on our Japan trip so it was really comfortable to sleep. The location is really close to the main station, lots of free goodies, nicely decorated. The staff is super friendly.

The room was big but the bathroom was really tiny. Also, walls between rooms are made out of super thin material so I could literally hear person sneezing and caughing in the room next to ours. On the first night I was woken up by some loud bangs, I thought somebody is knocking on our door, but it was coming from the other room.

Great location, very close to the train station where you could get trains, buses or the subway. The room was a good size and the bathroom space was excellent with 2 basins. The room was very clean and as we were staying 4 nights it was cleaned on the second day. There was plenty of fresh towels so that was fine. An iron was available at the front desk There was no restaurant or breakfast but plenty eating places close by. Staff were very helpful.

There was a nice dining table and chairs but they were too low for us. Checkout was at 10am which was earlier than normal.

Amazingly clean and well maintained. Super friendly and helpful staff. I love that they have a whole lobby full of complimentary necessities for guests, even the one-time use contact lens case & solution. Not foo far a walk from train station Nihombashi (but we enjoy long walks so take this with a pinch of salt haha). It’s also a slightly quieter area which we liked. Layout of the hotel room was really good and functional as well. We had both of our big luggages open at the same time so packing was much more convenient.

Great location only a short walk from Kyoto Station where there is excellent transportation and shopping opportunities. The room itself was clean and tidy, the staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel also offers amenities such as foot patches to use after a long day walking, and luggage storage service after check-out.

Early check-out and late check-in, and the refrigerator in the room was quite noisy but this can simply be unplugged.

The hotel is located very close to Kyoto station and it's easy to visit most tourist destinations from there. The room was very clean and reasonably sized. The staff were friendly and spoke good English, so everything starting from check-in was convinient and easy. They even had a laundry machine, which was nice for someone on a longer trip.

My room didn't have a window, which was slightly annoying. Other than that I don't really have anything to complain about.
