Good location, 10min walk from train station, 5mins walk to castle, 10mins walk to shops along Nakamachi and Nawate streets. 7/11 5mins walk. We stayed on the top floor, our room was clean, quiet, had a window that could open, aircon, comfy bed, good shower, mini fridge. View of mountains was lovely from window. Staff were friendly. Microwave and drinks vending machine on ground floor. 300Y washing machines. Hotel is new. We didn’t choose the breakfast option.

Only downer was Netflix wasn’t available on the TV. Not a biggie though.

The price is acceptable for this type of hotel, and the breakfast options are adequate, though not exceptional. Additionally, the hotel is very close to Matsumoto Castle, allowing us to easily walk there for a good photo opportunity.

There is a space near the hotel for pick up/drop off, but I don't know why the hotel staff prohibited us from using that space. I believe if the hotel allowed us to use that space, we could safely alight from our vehicle instead of stopping on the public road, which is very dangerous.

No reply regarding guests enquiries on booking.com hotel room requests. Only replied regarding car parking facilities. Greeted by a helpful staff, Mr Billah who is very patient to explain checkin information and car park lots to us. Room is superbly clean and new. Room interior design is mainly wood and has a homely feel. Spacious for 4 adults. Superior Twin sharing bed has 2 double bed (slightly smaller than a Queen bed, may be more suitable for small size Asians) and a sofa bed. The room is 28 sqm. It has a beautiful Matsumoto ball (Temari ) encased in a piece glass. The bathroom is nice, clean and spacious, like a mini Osen bath. A separate room with door for toilet, a bathroom (shower area with stool, a bathtub). A notice indicated that the door needs to be closed when bathing as steam will activate the fire alarm. The sink has a full glass mirror and lighting is perfect for makeup. It even has a vanity stool for make up like in an onsen. It has an automated sensor tap. There’s a humidifier and air freshener. Room comes with complimentary use of UCC coffee/earl grey/green tea pods machine in the room. We were given coffee & earl grey pods. Daily bottled drinking water.

There are no cupboard for clothes. Clothes have to be hung on hangers next to main door. Luggage storage is fine with 3 luggages under cloth hangers. However, it is difficult to open 3 luggages at one time. No hooks for hanging wet towels in bathroom or room. Toilet has a smell after 2nd day. Need to use air freshener spray provided.

We were so lucky to have a room with a view of Matsumoto Castle. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Matsumoto train station, Matsumoto Castle, and Nawate shopping street making it great for getting around. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety of food so whether you prefer Western or Japanese style breakfast you should be able to find something. I was also able to enjoy the communal bath facilities and would recommend trying them out.

The room itself was cozy but it worked for us.

Good bed, great onsen. Rooms were somewhat spacious in relation to the price. Convenient location but with infrequent bus. It's walkable from Matsumoto station and is very close to the city centre. Most people wanting to explore the city will like this place.

(Continued from above) But if you need to reach the northern part of the city (e.g. Shinshu Univ, Asama Onsen), or the eastern part of the city (e.g. Agata no Mori), then the inner city loop line bus (line 81 and 110) are infrequent.

The room is spacious, clean and modern designed. The bathroom is very clean. It has an in-house onsen facility where guests can indulge in. Breakfast is included in pricing. Staff speaks fluent English. Location in terms of touring Matsumoto is okay, very near the Matsumoto Castle and Nawate Dori.

It is 900m from Matsumoto Station, which is a long walk especially if you are tugging in luggage with you. Best to ride a taxi or wait for a bus.

The breakfast was a buffet style mixed of western and japanese cuisine, it was great. There was a public hot bathroom and I liked it so much. There were laundry services - coin washing machine and dryer. The room and toilet were clean, with a bathtub and a mini fridge.

The temperature of water in the bathroom was inconsistent and could not be adjusted properly. We went in spring and it was cold, but warm water could not be dispensed at the shower inconsistently. Hotel was also quite a distance away from the train station ~20 mins.

The experience at the reception check-in was really nice. The young lady who took me and my husband in made us feel welcome. The room had everything one might need for a few nights. We only stayed for one and at a discounted price, but would definitely book again!

The hotel is a typical Japanese business hotel. Rather small rooms but clean and comfy. It is about a 10 minute walk from the train station (turn left after exiting and follow main road until reaching the hotel on left). Although a bit of a walk from the train station, Matsumoto castle is just a very short walk away. Breakfast was a simple, western style buffet with some rolls, coffee, and soup.

There are only two washing machines and dryers in a hotel with many rooms and one that caters to tourists. There was a line waiting to use them while we were there.

Although the room is small , it is very clean and the location is excellent for exploring nearby attractions. The hotel looks very new. Breakfast is simple and ok.

When the nearby parking is full, the next nearest parking lot available is much further, about a traffic light away.
